My Shopping Trip: ShopRite
Extreme Couponing Shopping Trip
I was heading to ShopRite to check the Clear Men’s Shampoo Deal that reader Nate had let us know about. And before I knew it, my shopping list grew as I started pulling out coupons I had printed. This was a pretty sweet shopping trip and cost me under $5 after catalinas and savingstar deposit.
I also had the privilege of meeting a reader, Joseph. He and his wife were shopping away and proudly had his coupon binder sitting on top of his cart. He was taking advantage of some deals and let me know that he is saving 80% on groceries over the past year and a half. Way to go Joseph! And, he emailed me a picture of his shopping trip this morning which is at the bottom of the post.

I see Little Debbie Swiss Rolls there…is there a Little Debbie coupon somewhere?
There is no coupon but when I was talking to him in the store, he said he was slowly buying them to go towards the new Little Debbie SavingStar Deal
How do I get the hispanic heritage coupons?
I had problems with this transaction at my shoprite. They wouldn’t allow me to use the .75 coupon on the degree deodorant along with the coupon for the free shampoo. Somthing is stated on the free coupon that only 1 per purchase and maximum 2 per transaction which I think I was clearly only doing. The front end manager also gave it a no go so I walked away with nothing.
You are only allowed to use 1 of the Buy one free coupons for each Clear you buy with a max of 2 per transaction.
Also, if they wouldn’t let you use the Deodorant coupons, then you could always do the second deal I had posted. You can see that here.
I found a great deal when leaving the shop rite in Brick today. They had the play dough candy cyclone on sale for $9.99 there was just a $3.00 coupon for these on coupons.com. Great deal since they are regularly 19.99. Just wanted to share in case anyone is thinking forward to Christmas.
Cindy,
I did the dealdo the transaction as you had explained in the post – bought 2 clean & clear scalp therapy shampoo and 2 adrenaline deodorant, tried to use (2) B1G1 and (2) .75 deodorant cpn (adrenaline). The register did beep when she tried to use the .75 deodorant coupon so maybe that was the issue (or had something to do with the ecoupon?)and it just confused/alerted her that something was not right. Well I will try again with the other deodorant and do the simple deal with it. Thanks for all you do!
How is the Catalina deal working for the man body wash? you buy 4 and get $5.00 in Catalinas?
Also, if I buy many products that gives Catalinas, am I able to buy all of them in the same transaction and get all the catalinas that I supposed to get?
Thanks!
For the Mio e coupon to work does it have to be fruit punch flavor or will any flavor work? The e-coupon discription says fruit punch flavor and then it says any flavor. Anybody know pleaseee! Thankyou!
Ann I did buy a fruit punch just to be sure but the eCoupon actually came off the Strawberry/Melon flavor
Thanks!
I’ve heard that some registers are automatically taking off the price of the degree deodorant for the b1g1 deal instead of the shampoo(i think bc it is a lower price)so maybe thats why the trouble using the degree coupons also?? is it showing up as already using a coupon for that item?? i haven’t done it yet but just a thought…
Nice savings there Joseph! How nice for Cindy to meet one of her readers.
Thanks for posting my shopping trip! I wish there was Little Debbie coupons! I know that you have to buy $35 of Little Debbie; but you have 2 months to buy them! It’s going to be a challenge; but we always buy them any how. My wife and I were shopping last night and I have my big binder of coupons when this lady come up to me and asks me how do I do it. I am use to it; I have lots of people ask while I am shopping. She asks me what site do I use; and of course I said LRWC! She then told me who she was and I was so happy to meet Cindy. LRWC has save me LOTS and LOTS of money in the past year and a half!
LOL!! Great story & great trip!
