  • The Cepacol coupon hasn’t reset. I printed this a while ago and it has already expired.

  • For anyone who got the samples a while back, there was a $1/1 Manuf within that sample pack. I am glad I kept them.

  • Ive been having issues at riteaid.Sometimes i have up rewards attached to my card and then they tell me if i use my coupons they will owe me money and they cant give me money back.so half the time i dont get to use my coupons.has anyone else had this issue?Do you have t use the up rewards evertime?

    • Just call Rite Aid customer service and ask them to opt out of the load to card program. Then they will print on your receipt and you dont have to worry about that. Otherwise, don’t give your card until the end of the transaction. Tell them you want to wait until after so that you can use your coupons. Ring up your items, let them scan your coupons, THEN let them scan your card. That way your coupons are applied first as they should be, and the sale price will be applied along with your load to card UPS when you scan the card.

    • Opt out of having the rewards attached to your card. It is soooo much easier. You know right away if you got the rewards that you are suppose to get. I mean if it doesn’t print at the end of the receipt you can question them instead of waiting to find out.

      • Opting out just means you get your Up Rewards the old way, printed out on your receipt. You still can’t use them until the next day, but it’s still better obviously.

To opt out, you will just ask the cashier (or manager if needbe) to scan your Wellness card and opt you out of the rewards2card portion of the program. Some of them will look at you cockeyed, but it’s a function they CAN perform via the register.

Hope that helps! It sure does save a lot of hassle.

If you DON’T want to opt out, you can always use your coupons BEFORE using the wellness card. The discounts will still be the same, but to your advantage.

  • This worked great for me. The Cepacol coupon beeped but the cashier (new to my store and my new favorite!) pushed it thru. Much to my surprise, the $3 coupon did NOT beep, unlike the recent ones that have required the cashier to enter the 11 digit number.

    • Our RiteAid just got upgraded Motorola scanners, I was given some line about not being able to ‘override’ coupons today. I had to explain the fact that me giving $4 in coupons for $3.99 would not require an override. It just entailed entering the $1/1 as $.99/1.

I swear, they get awfully creative when they don’t understand. Thankfull I carry the coupon policy which clearly lays out the details :D

      • I have the feeling i will do the same from now on.I purchased today the cepacol and out of my $4 of coupons the cashier used only $1 because she stated she cannot use the $3 on top of my $2 Up rewards..So i ended up paying 2$ in Up rewards and 0.99 cents out of my pocket..I couldn’t get through her,i think the policy in my pocket might be the key..:)

        • Opting out was the first thing I did, the first day of that new program. I can’t even begin to think about the hassle that would have been otherwise. Brilliant on their part really.

  • coupon is gone! Ugh i wish i didnt wait to print it!
