  • My heart goes out to them. Thoughts and prayers to all impacted.

  • Thank you.

  • So sad :’(

  • Unbelievable that someone could even fathom making this tragic event. Prayers go out to the families of all the children at that school. No parent should have to deal with this! May those little angels that God has received bring strength to their families during this time of grief. My heart is a waterfall of tears over all this

  • May the lord be with all the fallen and their families!I shed tears for those children and the rest of the people that lost their lives!

  • This was just too close to home. Im from CT and have not stopped watching the news or listening to the radio. If it were up to me I wouldnt send my daughter ever to school. We’ve seen it happen in other states but never thought it would happen so close. Just 30 mins from home :(

    • I live in CT too, and have been watching the news since it happened. I have 2 kids one in preschool and one in first grade. Hits close to home. I have been an emotional wreck all day. I can’t imagine the pain they are going through. I am probally 30-40 mins away. So sad! My thoughts and prayers goes out to all the victims!!

      • I’m about 10 minutes from there (my husband grew up with the Principle’s kids). It’s unimaginable what happened and as a parent it makes me want to stay home with my kids forever. My daughter JUST started pre-k and now I just want to keep her home.

    • My sentiments as well. I often don’t watch the news, not because I’m not interested in whats going on in the world , but because everyday there seems to be something to report more horrific then the day before, and i cant sit through it without turning into an emotional mess.

  • Heartbreaking :( My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families. Terrible that you can’t even send your child to school.

  • Thank you for making this post. I am from Long Island and CT is other side of the water from my town.

Yesterday, 12/13, at our local high school, student jumped from the 3rd floor of the class window. He is at the hospital and we are all hoping he would pull through. Rumor was that he was tired of getting bullied.
Not sure if that was the case, but it was a terrible news.

Today, I heard this sad sad tragic news.
I pray for everyone and I am feeling so sad, I can not imagine how victims parents are feeling.

    • I am from the same town and I heard about what had happened at this high school, I will keep this student in my prayers and hope he pulls through.

  • I live in CTabout 45 mins from this school, I picked my daughter up early from school yesterday because I just wanted to hug andkeep her close. Our town had had a candle lighting on the town green last night. It was very emotional.

  • Words cannot describe the sadness. My prayers to all affected.

  • We would like to extend our thoughts and prayers to the families and friends of Newtown CT. This is a horrible horrible tragedy. This has affected the entire country. We are grieving with you.

  • I was startled by the horrible news when my husband told it to me. The whole evening is was reading articles about this horrible and unforgivable tragedy.

Rest in Peace little children, may you find a peace in the heaven…

  • My heart goes out to the families of the victims. This is a very sad day, my heart is breaking. I have been watching the news and can’t stop crying, I keep thinking about parents who lost their babies and the kids who lost their mother(s). I can’t even imagine what these parents might be going through, but I am praying for them and may God help them get through this difficult time. I was able to put my little one to bed last night, but that right was taken away from 20 parents and my heart bleeds for them. May God bless them all.

  • Please say a prayer for all the families – we are all so heartbroken here in Connecticut.
