Woohoo! Target just announced on their Facebook page that this awesome coupon is back again this year! The coupon is for a Free $10 Gift Card with a purchase of $50 or more.
The coupon is good until 12/8 and is good for in-store purchases only. You can only print this coupon once twice! per computer.

I went to Target yesterday and the machine printed off a $5 off of $50 coupon, good thru 12/11/12.

Damn, I just went and spent over $50 last night but minus coupons the total came down to $19. Would I be able to go in again to use this with my receipt from last night?

I don’t know if I will spend 50 at target but maybe I will just buy something and then return it later on. Then I won’t having a problem with stuff expiring.
You won’t get the full value of your return…Target has a way of figuring out how much you will get taking into account the free gift card that was given to you.
Usually for gift card deals at Target, it prints on your receipt that you got a gift card. So if you return an item it will deduct the price of the gift card as well…meaning you would receive back $10 less than the items you paid. So buying something and then returning it (couponing ethics aside) wouldn’t really serve you.

I just went back to Target and asked if the coupon could be used on my previous purchase earlier this week. I got a really nice customer service person and she allowed it. Gave me the gift card right away. I went there to at least ask, if they didn’t allow it, I was planning to give the coupon to someone with a big purchase. A no fail trip.
Went last nite I used 1 and my daughter used 1 we each got a 10$ gift card and I also got a coupon with my receipt for 8$off purchase of 80$ so I told my daughter she could have both gift cards and coupon and get 28$ off a 80$ purchase and only pay 52$- love getting a deal!!!
