Hmmmm…this could be good, we have $45 in Best Buy Rewards, so add that to the $50 off and I’m seeing $100 of product for about $5 OOP!

totally did this today. Bought printer ink, rewritable blank CD’s, a hair curling iron….it was fun! BUT.. when we got to the register, the clerk said it was supposed to be $50 off ONE item. She said it was worded wrong. Oh well. I asked to please see the manager, and he did allow it to go through. So, be prepared for that.
If it is worded wrong, it is their fault, so don’t let them not give it to you!
And the store has tons to buy! CD’s, movies, all kinds of appliances (mixers, coffee makers, vacuum cleaners, etc) K-cups, cordless phones, etc. I’m sure you’ll find something worth your while!

I live in NYC and called my local BB. The manager stated that the coupon was meant for select customers and that they would honor it so long as the bearer could prove it was sent to them directly (e.g. a copy of the email). He said they never meant for sites like Slickdeals, etc. to get a hold of it and post it. Hope this helps.
Instead of having a list of exclusions they should of had what you could of bought. Doesn’t work on gift cards, Amazon Kindle Cards, Itunes cards, or anything of value.
Bestbuy just posted this on their website that there coupon was worded all wrong. It ends today and excludes alot more things heres the link:

My daughter tried to use the coupon and it didn’t work in store. The clerk told her it would probably come off on her statement!!!????? Are they unaware of their own coupon?

I just came back from Best Buy and bought ink cartridge and my son’s 2 games (X box, etc). Total was $120.00 + tax.
When $50.00 didn’t come off, manager did it manually.
He told us this promotion had so much trouble through the day, now it was ending tonight instead of 27th. He didn’t mention single item over $100.00 or anything like mitchell’s post.
I got lucky this time.
And Best Buy is worried that people only go into the store to look at items and then they order them on-line for less money – this was a way to get in people to spend money.
Best Buy in the Atlanta area would not accept this coupon today Jan 22. I was told it was only good on Monday Jan 21 even though the coupon said it was good until January 27.
I went there today and they didn’t honored my coupon they said it was only for one day although it is valid till 1/27/13.
Went Monday, tried to buy ink and gift cards, they were not listed on list of exclusions, but coupon did not work and they would not allow me to use, and were very rude about the coupon. I will never shop Best Buy again.
I went Tuesday and tried to use this coupon and they were very rude and said they were not taking it because a bunch of people were defrauding the company. What a way to market yourselves, blame the consumers because you put out a coupon that went viral instead of apologizing on behalf of the company. Sigh. I truely dislike Best Buy’s customer service. Won’t be shopping there.
