Lean Cuisine Coupon
There is a B4G1 Free Lean Cuisine Coupon which makes for an awesome deal at A&P. The only bad part is, it ends tonight.
A&P has Lean Cuisine priced at $2 this week. Plus when you buy $20 you get a $5 Catalina and the offer is working on shelf prices which are $3.69 (shelf price may vary). And, the deal is producing an extra $5 catalina for a total of $10 back. I don’t know what the extra catalina is from at this point. Since it ends tonight, I wanted to get it up before I researched it.

great deal, and in my rush to get it, I messed up and only bought 5 of each. Really feel like a jerk, even if it was still an ok deal. I’ve gotten greedy in my couponing, I would have been thrilled with $1 each forever ago (I had a prior catalina to apply to the deal).
Yay! I can confirm that this deal worked in my waldbaums in Queens ny! I was home from work all comfy in my sweats and I read this and couldn’t pass it up! They were 3 for $9 and I bought 6 of the Lean cuisine steamers and used the $1 off 5 coupon so I wound up paying $3 OOP for every 6 I bought, but still a great deal! And even better if you can find the new salad creations because there was a $1 off one in the 1/6 SS. I rolled the deal twice and the $10 cats printed again both times! Thanks for the great post!

Just went to the Old Bridge, NJ A&P and this deal worked! 5/$10 signs were already taken down but I confirmed the price with the circular and both cats printed!
my a&p told me they don’t accept printed buy x amount get x amount free coupons.
That is inconsistent with their policy. They do not take “free item” printables – but if there is a purchase requirement, they do take them. From their website:
Internet (Online) Printed Coupons:
Only 2 like internet (online) coupons are allowed per transaction.
Coupons for FREE Items are NOT accepted unless the purchase of an additional item is required (i.e. Buy one get one free).
It worked at A&P (rolled prior Cats too), but on the second order (rolling the 2 $5 Cats) only one $5 Cat printed. Still a great deal, glad I ran out for it

Stephanie, always, always check your particular stores shelf prices when doing these deals. Originally today, I had planned to purchase 5, but seeing that the Simple Favorites shelf price was $3.69 I had to change my transaction plans at the store. The bonus $5 Cat was icing on the cake!
Don’t feel bad about it, it is the overall amount of grocery savings over the course of the year you really want to focus on. Before you know it, a Money Maker will come along which will take care of the amount you missed out on. Then, it will be free!

Laura — I know, trust me. I had 20 minutes to get to the store and get home before my husband had to leave (and one of us has to be home with the kid!) It was just me rushing in, rushing out — trust me, I know how to deals.

Cindy F., I suspect that my problem with the second Cat was the liguini carbonara. It rang up at 3.69-1.85, total price less than the $2 sale price. That may be one to avoid. Good luck!
I only bought the “Simple Favorites” versions and it worked every time at three separate stores. I did price check each version to make sure I had the $20 required shelf price.
I wanted to do the Salad Creations, shelf price $3.99 with (4) $0.75/1 coupons plus a Meal shelf priced at $4.19, would have had $4 overage out of the $10 Cats for other free items, but none of the stores I went to had them. Which is okay, I’ll catch it next time!
Just got back and did the deal twice and rolled the cats towards the bogo 93% lean ground beef. Got 7 lbs for $6.67 after my $10 of Cats.
oopppps. not a lucky transaction for me. only got 1 $5 cat which says thank you from nestle. got 6 simple favorites 3.69 shelf price. oh well, better luck next time.
So strange. I decided to drive to A &P three towns away after reading about this deal. I worried that it was late and they wouldn’t have any thing left but the shelves were full and the store empty of people. I did the deal 3 times ( a lot but they had plenty and were closing and the deal ended in less than an hour) I bought all simple favorites. The first two transactions were perfect. Bought six Lean Cuisines and got 2 $5 cats. The 3rd time only 1 $5 cat printed (from Nestle. I wasn’t sure if my card stopped it from doing a 3rd transaction and printing the $5 cat or maybe it didn’t like the flavors of the last order? Or maybe because it was late? I am not complaining, no I am thrilled. All had a shelf price of $3.69. Sorry that your order didn’t work.
I think mine was part stupidity part couponadrenaline.
I got to the store 25 minutes before closing, nobody in customer service anymore and didn’t have my A&P card, so the lady in self check out used her card for us. You win some, you lose some.

Was home all day feeling down. Then I saw this thread at 10:30pm and decided to go to A & P. I bought(in two transactions):
12 Lean Cuisines (used six .75 off LC salad & one $1 off four coupons)
4 Progresso Light soups (used two .50 off coupons)
1 bottle of soda
Total out of Pocket – $10.92 and I still have two $5 off cats in my pocket!
I basically got all of it for .92 cents.
Thanks for saving me money and making my day turn around. I am a happy camper now.

I would have loved to stock up on Lean Cuisine.
I know this is dead now, but interestingly enough I purchased 6 simple favorites last Sunday and only one $5 cat printed. Possibly that mystery second $5 cat wasn’t active yet, or maybe it was never valid at Superfresh (though almost all A&P deals are). I was happy to get them at under a buck each…but seeing I could’ve possibly gotten them free – wow!
SCORE! Thank you Laura + Cindy – this was exactly what I needed last night – a cheap, easy meal after a very long day at work. These things are pretty tasty… nuked up the Sesame Chicken and Chicken Carbonara when I got home. Had to restrain myself from doing a third… bad form to pig out on diet food
