Here is another one for you this week at A&P. Beginning today, there is a Catalina Deal at A&P for Spend $20 on select General Mills Products, Get a $5.00 Catalina. No it’s only at A&P which is weird. Usually they are the same deals but not this one.

FYI, this is not working off of shelf price in Hopewell Junction, NY. I didn’t do this exact scenerio. I bought 8 boxes of Cheerios (4 yellow box and 4 multi-grain, multigrain are shelf price of 4.19 a box) and 6 packets of El Paso seasoning (shelf price of 1.55.) Total shelf price is 42.02. Only one CAT printed. I already knew what they were going to tell me, but I went to customer service anyway. I was told that the CAT is based only on what you pay. In the past, I’ve done this deal, and got my 2 CATS with no issue.

Don’t try it in Hoboken either! Not only (1) it is based on shelf price, (2) the savings star ecoupon didn’t come out. When I showed my coupons on my mobile phone to the store manager, they told me that they have never heard of saving star!
Not only that they also don’t have the Finish dish tablets on the shelf.

Savingstar does not come off at the register. The amount gets deposited into your savingstar account a few days after you make a purchase.
I so hope that the Cheerios is working off of shelf prices in Philly. I just ordered a ton of .50/1 coupons specifically for this deal. But if not .50 a box (after coupons & cat) for cheerios is still a fantastic price!!

If the coupon does not print, will Catalina send it to you if you contact them? Will THEY accept it based on the shelf price? I know that A&P store “customer service” is terrible, and it’s even worse if you try calling them.
Worked on shelf price no problem at Waldbaums on LI, 4 Multi grain and one chex and got $5 cat twice. $3MM each time with coupons.
