CVS: Possibly Free Schick Hydro Shave Gel

Screen Shot 2013-02-10 at 3CVS Schick Hydro Deal

Update: ONLY the Sensitive Shave Gels are producing the $4 ECB & look for peelies for an even sweeter deal!

Here is another great deal at CVS.  It appears that the Schick Hydro SENSTIVE Shave Gel is working towards the Schick Hydro Disposable Razors deal that is going on this week.  The deal is Buy 1 Schick Hydro and get a $4 ECB.  The ad says limit 1 but my receipt states it is a limit of 2.

My CVS had Schick Hydro Sensitive Shave Gel for $4.49 but my stores usually have higher prices so you may actually be able to score this for free or even a small money maker depending on your price.

Here is the deal:

Be sure to check out the rest of the CVS Coupons & Deals for the week before you shop.

Thanks Jamie!

  • Just got home from CVS but this might be the reason to go back!! :-)

  • I found 1.50/1 peelies on these and skintimate.

  • I just went and did this deal. I got 2 diff Schlick hydro gels, one is sensitive (upc 41058 01600) one moisturizing (41058 01601) and got a $4 EB and a $2 EB…. So it is only working for one of them but I am not sure which one. The cashier gave me an extra $2EB

    • Just did it. $4 ECB on [Sensitive] Schick Hydro. Also used the peelie (which was a complete surprise!

      $4.49 less $1.50 peelie = $2.99 OOP. Got $4.00 ECB making it $1.01 MM

      • Ah, I was looking for peelies but there were none at my store…boo! Glade you found them though!

        • I actually found a small display of the sensitive shaving gels that had the $1.50 coupon on them while I was waiting to get into the Minic Clinic the other night. They weren’t in the shaving section, almost like they were being hidden. The ones that were in the shaving section did not have the peelie. I wasn’t feeling well enough to think about getting them, but I’ll stop back in tonight to see if anyone else snatched them up. What’s the limit again? Is it 2???

  • This is not working for the non-moisturizing gel; It gave me a $2 ECB.

  • Schick Hydro Moisturizing Shave Gel (41058 01601) gave me $2 ECB.

  • I have a coupon for a free schick hydro razor and a .75/1 shaving gel coupon…but my CVS is blocked in by a 6′ snow bank (I’m not kidding…it might even be higher!)…not sure when they will open :(

  • I did this deal twice. Tags actually stated that you would get $2 ECBs back, but I got $4 instead. This may be corrected by tomorrow…

  • if anyone tries this today please let me know how it works i can nit get out till noon

  • Just tried it. (2/11/13 7:30am). Still wotking.

  • it work for me also in Philadelphia only the sensitive produced 4.00 also i went to 3 different cvs and only one store had 2 shave gel I left the other one for somebody else the cvs around castor av had a lot of curling irons i paid 2.82 and got the 5.00ecb

  • Still working at 1:50 pm. Found 2 bottles with peelies and rec’d $8 ecb’s.

  • Tried this at 2:00pm and it is still working. There is a cashier at my local CVS that is a coupon Nazi. She attempts to find any reason for you not to get a good deal. I bought two cans of the shaving cream. I left the peelies on and let her peel them off. If I would have peeled them off and handed them to her she would of created her own reason as to why I couldn’t use them. The total was 8.38 – (2) 1.50 peelies = 5.38. I gave her a 5.00 ECB and paid the remaning .41 with change. As usual, she examined the entire receipt after it printed out. I received a 8.00 ECS ((2)-4.00) I received a coupon for razors at the bottom of my receipt so I went back to the aisle to see if I could find a good deal. Sure enough, while I was in the the aisle she came in the aisle and took the remaining cans off the shelf. UGH!

    • Oh my gosh, that is just crazy! Where is this CVS located?

    • What a B!

    • I think that needs to be reported directly to CVS corporate – so they are aware that they have employees who are hurting their sales!!!

    • Wow, Extreme cashier saving $$ for the boss (so she thinks).

Most cashiers are ok with all of our savings (some even get excited watching how $$ can be saved). I get comments all of the time from cashiers “Where do you get these coupons?” or “I need to start doing coupons too!”

I also know which cashiers to avoid. Some are just out to [punch holes] in our coupon experience. I beleive that it’s completely a jealous thing and complete misunderstanding of the purpose of the coupons. I never argue with them. I just finish the transaction — go to courtesy counter and correct or make a return and simply avoid that same cashier in the future.

It’s just a fact of couponing I guess. Although that B Cashier Nazi is quite exceptional. Tell the MGR that you will not shop there anylonger if that cashier continues to harass you during the transaction process. The MGR understands lost sales!

      • I tell you one thing, all of the cashiers and including managers knows me at local CVS…
They help me, and one thing all of them know is I check coupons 5 times before they do…, so, even if my coupon beeps they will take it…. some times when I am looking for the items with deal…, they will tell me via their radio system and tell where is my item located…. how cool is that…. (in short they make feel comfortable…)

    • In the past, I have reported a bad cashier by calling CVS corporate, and they were extremely nice and put some xtra ecb’s on my card to make up for not being able to use the coupon with the b—- at the register.

  • like what does she care???? these cashiers are really funny sometimes! glad you were able to get the deal though.

  • The red machine gave me a $3 off $10 purchase of shaving cream, so I got 3 of the Schick & used 3 peelies that I found and I had 20% coupon. So a great deal for me

  • I just did the deal and it is working at my CVS on the Sensitive. It was priced $4.49 and worked on 2! so .98 and $7.02 MM! Thank-you!

  • This deal worked for me tonight at 7 pm CST. I purchased 2 of the sensitive shave gels. Thank you for posting :)

  • I got 3 of the shave gels @ 4.39 I used a $3 off 10 and a $2.50 off 12 cvs shave coupons. I also got two of the curling irons for 2.44 each. I also used $7 in ecbs. Paid around $6 and I got back 18 in ecbs

  • Any updates on if this deal is still working today(Tuesday)?

  • still working today! Bought two and got $8

  • Still working as of 2 pm only on sensitive moisturizing only gets 2 ecbs . I was also able to get two curling irons 2.54 each got $10 ecbs = ) thanks Cindy didn’t get the razor deal but got this .

  • I used to tonite @ 5:00pm, and got my $4 ECB!

  • The deals are working this morning. I bought:

    2 conair 3/4 curling irons @ 2.99 each
    1 Schick razor @ 10.99
    1 Schick sensitive shaving gel @ 4.39
1 Reese chocolate heart (for the hubby) @ 3.49

    Used:
1 free Schick razor from mailing (took off 10.99)
1 .75 shick shaving cream from mailing
1 CVS 2.50 off 12.50 or more shaving purchase
    1 CVS 4 off 20 purchase
    Used 7 ECB

    Total OOP: $0
earned 10 ECB for conair and 8 ECB for Schick ( it gave me a 4 ECB for the razor too!)

    An $11 money maker!
