Set on a giant curved floor that’s akin to a snowboarding half-pipe, the U.K.’s Motionhouse dance theater makes a huge splash with its latest innovative blend of film and live performance, exploring the complex human relationship with water. Immersive projection technology and a cast of seven athletic dancers outfitted with aerial harnesses and bungees bring to life both the breathtaking beauty and destructive power of the oceans and ice. These amazing artists interact seamlessly with the stunning visuals, which include waterfalls, rainstorms, raging surf and swimming pools.
