Note: This coupon can not be used on the cups as the cups are not converted rice.
ShopRite does have the Uncle Ben’s Converted Rice 5 lb bag on sale this week for $5.99 making it just $5.49 after coupon (org $7.99).
However, while I was searching to see the price of Uncle Ben’s Converted Rice, I stumbled upon another deal. BTW, if you are wondering what Converted Rice is, here is your definition:
Converted white rice is neither regular long grain rice nor instant long grain rice. Also called parboiled rice, converted rice is the unhulled grain that has been steam-pressured before milling. This process retains nutrients and makes fluffy separated grains of cooked rice. Converted rice takes slightly longer to cook than regular long grain rice. (source: Taste of Home)
Anyway, back to the better deal I found. While searching ShopRite for Uncle Ben’s I noticed that the Uncle Ben’s Garden Vegetable Ready Cups and the White Rice Ready Cups are priced at only $0.49. Plus there is a $1/2 Uncle Ben’s Ready Cup coupon in the 1/6 RP to make them free.
Also, the Uncle Ben’s Rice Pilaf, 6 oz is also $0.49. On the Uncle Ben’s site there is a coupon for $1 off any Uncle Ben’s Products making them just $0.15
So, here are all your Uncle Ben’s Deals:

What an awesome find! I have a few of those coupons.Hopefully there’s some left when I make my shoprite run tomorrow:)Thank you
Thanks! Found 3 of the $1/2 coupons in my papers, so I’ll be using them at SR tomorrow.
BTW when I viewed the cups on the SR at home site. it claimed “On Sale! Price Plus Club Members (Limit: 1 Item)”. This isn’t the first thing I’ve found that says limit 1. I’m fairy sure it will be limit 4 in the store. Do they often have the incorrect limits on their site? The Kikkoman Panko bread crumbs are also limit 1 and when I tried putting 2 in my cart the 2nd one was more expensive.
Is this (the $.49 cups) the current sale price, or regular price? If its not the regular price, does anyone know what the regular price is?
When I looked on Shoprite at Home, it claimed the regular price was 99c.
In the Jersey City SR, they are green signs “get them while they last.” I bought 8 garden no problem, no beeps.
At the store last night in Carmel NY, the regular price was 1.39, on sale for .99 and instant savings brought it down to .49. The two kinds on sale were Garden Vegetable and Original (white).
@Bill I was thinking that too the limit only says 1..Maybe that’s for online let’s hope the limit is more in store..Fingers crossed!
I bought 4 in the store last night with no problems.
Just back from SR. The rice is on Price Plus so you can only get 4 of the same variety. Confirmed that the brown rice was not on sale. The coupon either beeped or had a problem with the amount (self-scan cashier was doing it at her register so I couldn’t see) because she asked how much they were and reduced the amount to 98c (of course SR gets the whole dollar).
