We live in New York and went to our local Family Dollar in Saugerties…when we went to check out the $2.00 off 1 coupons for the gallon punch… the coupon only rang up for 50 cents! And the woman at the register said its because the final cost of the punch with the coupon would be $2.00.. this is even after I called to verify how much the punch was before the $2.00 coupon.. she said $2.00 so when we bring in the coupon its only 50 cents so we would be paying the full $2.00 if you ask me they need to specify that the coupon in the ad is not a so called $2.00 coupon and that the product will cost $2.00 after the coupon if that’s the case… to me thats FALSE ADVERTISING….unless they just screwed us over is all… “sorry for the language..very frustrated new couponer….lol… can someone please help me and my hubby understand this???? thanks sooo much we looove this site…..as always xoxox
The coupon in the ad is to make the product $2.00, then you can use the manufacturer coupon making it just $0.90
