I did the same deal as Meg but also used the $1/3 GM Target coupon as well 🙂

    • Meg

I used that as well, dunno why it didn’t get posted with that. Oh well! 🙂

For those that did this deal, was there any information about the $5.00 gift card on the sale tags for either item? My Target had regular YELLOW sale tags WITHOUT gift card info for these cereals as opposed to the RED sale tags with $5.00 gift card info that were present on other general mills cereals.

My local store didn’t even have sale tags on the GM cereal. But, I got the gift card at checkout! So I would think it should work.

My store had the cereal tagged as giving a $5 gift card. One thing I should mention….I didn’t get the Peanut Butter Toast Crunch because my kids hate it. They are big cereal eaters too, and love peanut butter and Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, so I thought they would love it when I got a deal on 3 boxes at Shoprite a few weeks ago, but they think it’s gross. I used 2 of the Fiber 1 Coupons, The mfg $1 off 3 GM cereals and the Target $1 off 3 cereals. Not as good a deal, but $3.50 is still great for 5 boxes of cereal that they actually like.
