I stopped by my local Target to day to take a peak at the Valentine’s Day section and I was pleasantly surprised to find the candy was marked down 50% and everything else was up to 75%! Here are some highlights of things I found that you may not think would be included in the Valentine’s clearance!
- Sesame Street 2 Pk Figures – $1.79 (These were found in the regular toy aisle)
- Princess Dolls – $1.49 (These were found in the checkout lanes)
- Frito Bagged Chip 20pks – $2.09 (These were found close to the Valentine’s Day section)
Of course there were tons of boxed, Valentines cards, conversation hearts, and chocolates marked down as well!

The Dollar Spot in the very front of Target had 70% all purple dot merchandise. I got a bunch of cute socks and cupcake shaped gift boxes for party favors at my daughter’s upcoming birthday party. They were all just $0.30 ea.
I went to my local Target hoping to score some good deals on Valentine’s markdowns. I went Friday 2/15. There was not much left on the shelves at all. The employees were actually taking a bunch of the stuff away and putting out Easter merchandise.
They were already putting out Easter merchandise at my store too…but had condensed the V-Day stuff into one or two sections. I found some great Phineas and Ferb valentines for .30 each, some Minnie Valentines with pencils for my daughter for .90 and some really cute heart cookie cutters for 1.49. It was a pack of four!
