A Puppy Who Loves Coupons….Who Knew!
A Puppy Who Loves Coupons…Who Knew!
Have you all met Cooper yet? Cooper is our 8 month old puppy. And, apparently he loves coupons! I looked down to see him sleeping on a piece of paper only to realize that it is a coupon. A perfect, un-chewed (is that a even a word?), not even wet with dog slobber, coupon. Amazing!
Now, what do you think my chances are of teaching him to clip and organize coupons? Hey a girl can dream right?!

He’s a cutie!
Oh, how adorable…and, smart!!! Thanks for sharing!
How Cute and How Lucky he is to have a family that will take such great care of him, along with getting unlimited varity of snacks and toys for probably next to nothing or free!!! Best of Luck!
P.S. If he learns to clip and organize you better breed him, and i will take one of his litter! lol..
Aww, Cooper and Bogo are quite a cute pair.
Jenn, it’s been so hard for me to talk about this but I think I am finally ready and I owe it to you guys to tell you. Bogo passed away in October. It was a terrible accident that just devastated the entire family. I have tried so many times to let everyone know but it’s just been so hard. And, coupled with my son going through trauma surgery not long after that and the passing of my grandmother, we just had bad couple of months for the Livesey family.
We had gotten Cooper at the end of August as a playmate for Bogo. Bogo was just so high energy that I felt he needed a playmate. Honestly, I think Cooper was sent to me. I know that may sound strange to some, but I truly believe there is a reason he is here. He is the most lovely dog I have ever met. I call him my very own therapy dog. And during that rough time for our family, it was truly a blessing to have him with us.
Cindy,
I’m so sorry to hear about Bogo, your son and your grandmother. One event is hard enough but three. I can only imagine how hard it must have been for all of you.
I believe you are right about Cooper being sent to you. He’s obviously are source of joy and comfort. Our animal friends are a blessing.
RIP Bogo
Hi Cindy, thank you for sharing and sorry to hear about Bogo. Most of us have gone through difficult past months which feel like eternity… Whats important is we have family and friends to get through it together. I truly believe people come in and out of your life for a reason. Cooper was sent to help the healing
Oh Cindy I am so sorry to hear about BOGO. It was such a pleasure to read your posts about him and I was just thinking the other day how cute it is that he is your mascot on the site. Our pets are family members and it is devastating when they are no longer with us. I am so glad Cooper is with you and your family to bring you comfort and joy. And I hope that your son has recovered well from his surgery.
Sebsa, he has recovered well. We just have to be careful since he no longer has a spleen. The spleen helps to fight off infections so he just has to visit the doctor a bit more to be careful. Just put that on the list of more things for a mother to worry about!
“Dogs are not our whole life, but they make life whole.” Not sure who wrote it, but I love the saying. Dogs, through their unconditional love and devotion, give us so much and ask so little in return. A dogs passing, either by a terrible accident or of old age is something that devastates everyone in the family, but it is also teaches children necessary life skills regarding life, love and eventual death. I can’t imagine my children growing up without our dog. Yes, the house would be cleaner, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Best of luck with Cooper- it looks like Bogo taught him well.
Thanks for sharing your pain with us. I am sure it was difficult.
Oh Cindy, I am so very sorry about Bogo. Many prayers for you and your family.
On a happy note, Cooper is just adorable. I’ve finally decided that my home and yard will never be ‘ready’ for a dog, but my three sons are!! (10, 9, & 5) What kind of dog is he? I’ve been looking at Goldendoodles and have heard nothing but good things about them, and your Cooper looks like one! If so, could you refer a breeder?
Thanks for helping my family wade through our very tough financial times. We began couponing almost two years ago and can’t imagine how we ever thought paying full price for toothpaste was acceptable! HUGS!!
Cooper is a Cavichon. Half King Charles Cavalier and half Bichon. He is the such a loving dog. Loves to cuddle yet he is still very playful. So so trusting and gentle. I had heard so many great things about the King Charles and they really are true. I’ve also heard such great things about Goldendoodles. From what I remember they are a bit bigger then Cooper. Right now he is about 17 lbs but I think the Goldendoodles get bigger than that. But, with three boys, you might need bigger
Dogs are just the best. I love them and could not imagine my life without one in it. Your boys will love having one!
Oh, Cindy, What a painful time for you and your family. I’m so sorry you all had to go through those devastating events, most especially one after the other. One thing is bad enough, but, to have it compounded like that is so heartbreaking. My thoughts and prayers go out to your son for his continuing recovery, and, to your family to help keep brightness in your lives while you continue to recover from your losses. You are a special lady to keep us going while you could barely go on, yourself. Thank you for continuing to take care of US while you were all going through those most terrible times, yourself…
