Starbucks Coupons

Update:  Hmm, well I’m actually now not sure about this coupon.  I didn’t think twice about it because it’s hosted on coupons.com but, it seems that this may be a scan of a coupon that was meant for select customers.  Honestly, I’m shocked but I’m waiting to hear back.  Until then, I’ve removed the link.   My apologies!

Additional Update as of 3/14 at 10:20pm EST:  Honestly not sure what to tell you guys.  Here is a response from Coupons.com:

We are sorry to hear you have had issues with coupon redemption. We have contacted Starbucks and they have validated this promotion. Baristas should accept the coupon so long as the discount code is included. Please try to redeem the coupon at a later time.

The only thing I can tell you is that this will be a YMMV situation.

  • Good for when I’m driving TO work at 7pm tonight! Just in time! Sweeeeeet! Tks so very much and thanks to SBUX!

  • Thanks was able to get this coupon!!

  • the coupon is fraudulent. it was also posted on other couponing websites and when taken to starbucks, they are saying a print out is not valid. they do have a coupon like this, but it was only sent to select gold card members and mailed to loyal customers. only those are valid. i don’t know if someone scanned their coupon in or what, but this is a no go.

    • I’m not sure how that can be since it’s hosted on coupons.com.

    • I have emails in to contacts to find out about this coupon. I didn’t even think twice about it because it’s on coupons.com and anyone can find it easily. So, I’m really not sure sure at this point. I removed the links and would recommend waiting to use the coupons until I find out more information.

      • Okay, here is the update so far. They are aware of it and are “checking on their source for where they got that coupon”. Stay tuned.

    • No, this coupon was given to the stores and is behind the counter to be used if asked for by anyone. If a store runs out of coupons, they probably won’t honor it, though I have had two stores where they knew the code and punched it in even though they didn’t have any of the coupons left. Three other stores I have been to had it behind their counter and when I asked for it they applied it. (I’ve used it in MI and CA.)

  • how many prints do we get?

  • WOW no limit. dangerous

  • OMG I finally realized what you were saying about COUPON CODES and then found the coupons. I really need to READ the WORDS on the PAGE!!

  • Looks like we can print as many as we want! lol

  • it works, drinking myne now :)

  • I tried it and they happily accepted the accepted the coupon!

  • Ok people I work for Starbucks n this “COUPON “is not valid this is a fraud if Starbucks is gonna give out free drink it will be by mail or in person in participating location so plz dot not take this to a store it is a NO
    Thaaanks :-)

  • Mine worked fine :)

  • you can get this coupon on your smart phone if you get the app “extra extra”

  • When I went to Starbucks today, I asked about the original flyer that exists. The baristas have them behind the counter. The barista told me I had to buy a caramel macchiato and then she would give me a flyer for a free hazelnut macchiato to use on a later purchase. (I didn’t know about the coupons. com coupon code at that time so I didn’t ask about that. The flyer I am talking about is the actual Starbucks printed version of what you print out from coupons. com). I’ve heard different things on the blogosphere about this promotion. I think at the end of the day Starbucks didn’t quite plan this one very well and this will definitely be a YMMV.

  • same here. went to my normal SBUX OMY to work. said we are not accepting this. asked to speak w/ the manager. manager said same thing.

went to the other SBUX..same thing. UNhappy SBUX.

  • The Starbucks I went to in Little Ferry, NJ did not take my printout – there was a sign on the drive through window about it – they were only taking the original coupon from Starbucks.

  • Hmm..I printed mines and it worked for me. It was obvious that it was printed but they still accepted it. I did that twice. Maybe the baristas (where I live) are just really nice.

  • Any word on the Lowes coupon???

  • I just tried it at a STarbucks across the street before reading all these comments. I mean I saw free starbucks coffee and the one I like i printed and ran. Well I came out with no coffee. The barista said many have come in with that coupon and it’s not valid. The real one is supposed to have a bar code, he said.

  • I tried mine. Didn’t work. The girl said it is a copy. I need the real one.

  • Was a no go for me also was told the real one has writing on the back side and also was told Starbucks sent out emails to companies not to accept it.

  • Just got this via an email. It says “not to be shared” but I only have to show it on my phone or print the email.

  • I know this is a little late…I wrote SBUX a few days ago referencing my horrendous experience attempting to use this coupon. They did respond yesterday…sorry for the poor customer experience, etc…etc…sending a free drink coupon in the mail. However, they said nothing about this promotion/coupon. Thought that was a little strange…?….

    • Yes because I think they are embarrassed. There was definitely miscommunication somewhere along the line. Coupons.com would not keep that coupon up on their site if it they were not told it could be there at some point. I just know it. They are too reputable a company to do something like that. Plus, these companies have to pay before they get the coupons put up on Coupons.com. They just don’t put coupons up their without getting payment from the company.

  • Definatly got attitude at my local Starbucks. They said it was handed out, but the scans onto the internet are fakes and they cannot accept them. One would think they figured out the goof and would just let it go until the promo ends.

  • I used it yesterday with no problem and in fact used it 3 x before that (separate days of course) ; ) My store didn’t blink an eye and was even asking if I wanted one shot or two. : )

That’s nice Starbucks gave you a coupon for a free one after what you went through trying to use that legit coupon in the first place.

  • I’ve redeemed it my free caramel macchiato twice! & I’ll be redeeming it more times until the end of the month. I’ve printed the coupon out & took it both times.
