Home Depot’s Kids In-Store Monthly Workshop
Cost: FREE
Description: Build. Learn. Create. Have fun! Register for a free kids workshop, the first Saturday of every month at all Home Depot stores. Workshops teach children do-it-yourself skills, tool safety, and instill a sense of pride and accomplishment. Kids get to keep their craft and receive a free kids workshop apron. This month’s project is “Get Ready for Game Day and Make a Football Ring Toss Game”.

Chester’s 40th Annual Fall Craft Show

Description: Tents filled with the finest hand-made crafts! * One of the largest craft shows in New Jersey. * Artisans and craftsman from around the country. * Wide variety of hand-made, fine art and country crafts including jewelry, woodworking, textiles, florals, iron works, ceramics and more.

Edgewater Arts and Music Festival
Cost: FREE
Description: In addition to the arts, music, and auto show, a popular “Children’s Art Corner” will return this year, and an “Author’s Corner” for local authors who will autograph and sell their books.
Location: Old River Rd. at Thompson Ln., Edgewater, NJ
Time: 11 am – 6 pm

Historic House Tours
Cost: $8 per adult and $5 per child for both properties. Family rate (1 or 2 adults and up to 3 children): $25. Free admission for members.
Description: Step back through 200 years of American history at our historic properties at 108 Orange Road and 30 North Mountain Avenue. While at the Orange Road site, check out the farm and meet the chickens. Both sites are open from 1 to 4 pm.
Location: Montclair Historical Society, 108 Orange Road / 30 North Mountain Ave., Montclair, NJ
