Thanks Shanta. I’m seeing it as a $5 catalina but Melinda might have already changed it before I took a look. thanks for the heads up.
hi cindy ‘
I was thinking about the pantene deal if we use the bogo coupons have shampoo and get the conditioner free so just paying 3.25 for both and then e coupon 1.5$ and getting 1.5$ cat. so just paying 0.25$ for both
Thanks, just got my B1G1 out!
have u tried this deal is it working
No Tuti, I havent tried it yet, just getting my list together. Will probably go tomorrow. Has anyone tried the B1G1 Pantene deal?
I tried to check with cindy but she did not answer I think she is quite busy today plz let me know if it worked for u .
Yes you can do that deal. It would be $0.12 each after coupon & ecoupon. We are updating the post with that deal. You just have to buy 1 shampoo & 1 conditioner.
Just a heads up that this is not confirmed. We are going to check on it first and update if it works.
thank you cindy
Didnt work for me. SR e-coupon was not taken off.

Making the kellogg’s deal this week of $2/each when you buy four even better!!! Buy 2 Special K cereal and buy 2 special K cracker chip final cost will be 4 for $4 when you use 2 of each Q.
Today was the first day I could leave a comment. Worked from Mac but not pc. Just letting you awesome folks at LRWC know:)
Needed some advice…I am a bit new to couponing. Went today and noticed a few coupons did not come off after I got home. I know I should’ve been watching but the baby was crying in the check out line. 1) Any advice to handle this post order, or advice for next time (maybe you use a system to help you track which come off)? 2) I also noticed that none of the coupons I loaded to my card came off. This is the first time I’ve loaded them. Are they normally listed with the other coupons, or under the product? Again, how do I handle this after the fact and what can I do better next time to make sure they come off? Thanks for the help!
Anyone in PA get the ad in the mail with triple q’s at Bensalem and Fairless Hills?
No, but do you know if they are tripling?
YES! I’m so excited but cautious at the fairless hills store, they have been weird about coupons in the past.
yes, got the ad. no problems with coupons in fairless hills, i shop there every week. always do self check out though, and in the evening when the store is empty.
Thanks everyone! Super excited for this!!!!
I would go to customer service for the manufacturer coupons. They should just give you cash for them. As for the loaded coupons, i would call shoprite corporate. They will check your price plus card and will send you coupons in the mail. I’ve done this numerous times without a problem.
The shoprite ecoupons don’t show up on the bottom of the receipt with the other coupons. They show up just under the product on the receipt. I hope that helps
Did you give them your card? or Are you sure that card is the same as the one you loaded the ecoupons to? Are you sure you purchased the correct item/type/or size listed on the ecoupon? Good luck trying to determine the cause…stacking the ecoupon and manufacture coupons are very beneficial to the bugdet.
The ecoupons show up on your receipt as “TC ECPN” directly under the product.
Customer Service should be able to look up your PPC and see what coupons you have on your card. I used to print out a list of them and bring it with me. Hope you can figure it out!
Maria, in addition to the ECPN code under the product, they can also show as CFIRE in the same spot. Also, before giving your manf coupons, ask the cashier to sub-total your order. If you are using the same card you loaded the ecoupons to, they should pop up once the order is sub-totaled, independent of any manf coupons you then give. And, don’t get in the habit of using your phone number in place of giving them your PP card. Many times, phone numbers are connected to old cards, or, other family member cards. When using a keychain card, make sure that they are scanning the correct card, and not one from another store (in that case, you will get the sale price, but not the PP price, so, if that is what happened, it should be fairly obvious when checking your receipt). As far as them not scanning all of your coupons, unfortunately, that is something that you do have to pay attention to, while they are doing it. If your attention is divided between watching them scan coupons, and dealing with a crying baby, it will be difficult. Sometimes this happens when the coupons beep and they need to be overridden. Cashiers start making separate piles of coupons and it’s easier for them to miss some. Test all this out in a smaller order next time, if you can, while you are shopping alone. If none of what has been mentioned works, you may have to go back into your My Shoprite account and re-enter all of your info to kick it back into gear.
In addition to Rocky’s comment, I have learned my lesson with coupons not being scanned and the pain having to check the register for those unscanned coupons but besides watching the cashier like a hawk, I also try to “fan out” my coupons. So if I have 4 of the same printables or manufacturer I try to separate them and overlap all of my printables together and all of the newspaper together so the cashier won’t have a hard time trying to peel 2 coupons apart. I usually put all my free coupons first (with the item first on the scan belt, so she can quickly type in the amount on the coupon), then the newspaper coupons, printables and then any catalinas. Hope I make sense but I find this helps at checkout as well.
Jen, good points and I actually do some of those things, myself. I know what it’s like when I am going through my q’s and they stick together, so, I don’t want to chance the cashier having the same problem! And, I hate when they have to scroll through the order (multiple times, sometimes!) looking for the price of something, so I agree that putting those first and having them note the price, first, is definitely a help!
Yes, I agree with everything that’s been said here before. Plus, I’d like to add the following. I put my items on the belt in the order of my coupons, so the cashier sees the item quickly and moves to the next coupon and so forth. I also count the number of coupons I have and tab them in the corner (alternating tab down and tab up) so I know how many I have and that way they don’t stick together. It also helps me when I’m looking at the screen to make sure if the coupons are coming off in the right order. Or later, when reviewing the printed receipt to make sure they all came off, it helps to have some sort of order (alphabetical, numerical, etc.).
Also, if I’m distracted at the register and can’t watch the screen for whatever reason, I try to at least listen to the number of beeps (successful scans) as the cashier is scanning coupons and match these up with the number of coupons I counted before giving them in.
I always crumple my coupons a bit so they don’t stick together, especially the printables. I also watch the cashier scan them in like a hawk, not so much because of cashier error, but on almost every single large order I do, something doesn’t double like it should or doesn’t come off the right way. If there isn’t a bagger, I’ll start to bag groceries while the actual items are being rung up but stop when the coupon scanning starts. I have found it much easier to go to customer service with a “this item rang up higher” issue than a coupon issue, plus if an item scans wrong, customer service will give it to you for free. Hope this helps.
The $3 off on vick’s & crest is a catalina? Cuz my flyer says “$3savings is on your total purchase”. I’m confused
Hey Emily! You’re right, it’s $3 off instantly, not a $3 Catalina – I just read it wrong. I updated the list to reflect this change. Thanks for the heads up
at shoprite in middletown, nj, you can’t use coupons that say redeemable at walmart on them
I have with no issues. Also, they have taken then no problems at the Aberdeen and the Hazlet SR.
ShopRite in Mullica Hill, NJ will not take coupons that say “redeemable at Wal-Mart” or that have the Target logo on them.
I shop at the shoprite in Mullica Hill only and have never had a problem with the “redeemable at Wal-Mart” coupons, they always go through. I’ve never tried one with the target logo on them though. Must just depend on who you get as a cashier!
Different topic: is the Aberdeen Shoprite doubling online coupons? The one in Bel Air mostly does not
Yes they double internet printed coupons.
Shop Rite Brooklawn & Sicklerville will NOT except Walmart coupons as well.
That doesn’t make sense, because Shoprite in Brooklawn will accept ANYONE’S coupons….even Bottom Dollar, Aldi’s and CVS!!!
West Berlin wouldn’t take them today either but I have used them before without a problem…
Shoprite in Jackson won’t either.
I find that it depends on the cashier if they accept them not the store. If you have a cashier that carefully looks at each coupon, then you may have issues.
Nature’s Harvest bread seems to be on sale for $1.99 base on SfH pricing. I just printed a 55c coupon for it on Friday because I mistakenly thought it was the brand that was on sale at A&P (for which an expired 75c coupon was listed). Less than $1 for wheat bread is a good deal to me.
New e-coupons are posted. There only seem to be 8 in the normal section but there are 4 pages worth in the Hispanic month section. There is a new $1 off 2 Pine Sol when you buy 2 28 ounce lavender or lemon. There’s already a 75c off one Pine Sol from a few weeks ago which I haven’t used. Anyone ever done a SR e-couoon deal where they had 2 e-coupons valid on the same item? Will both of them come off?
I’ve had that situation in the past with Kellogg’s cereal.
The eCoupons will NOT come off on the same transaction. They will come off with two separate transactions. At least this was my experience and it was about a year ago. HTH!
Thanks.. that is disappointing.
I guess that they would both come off as long as you buy the exact items specified on each.
Both will not come off at the same time. You’d have to do 2 separate transactions. 1 Pine Sol the first time and 2 the next.
Hope this helps.
Hi, did you get Loreal Adv. SR eCoupon?
Never mind, I found it after going through them in my phone 8th time… lol
Hey Cindy, I went into SavingStar to activate the Larabar Coupon but it said, “We could not activate that eCoupon because is already being used in another service.” Is that because I already clicked the Shoprite eCoupon?
Thanks for all you do.
Hi yes that is why — just load saving star coupons first and you will be able to load SR coupons, too.
There are those who were able to remove their SR card from the SavingStar account, then add the coupon they want, and then add the Shoprite card back to their SS account. I have not heard whether they actually got the offer credited to their SS account or not. Perhaps someone who tried it after 9/1 can report back.
i have done before but sometimes it doesn’t reconnect and i have to ask saving star to fix. (and they don’t like too) for a good deal i’ll try anything.
There’s a $1/2 e-coupon for Barilla Plus which they mentioned in an email, but I am unable to get it to load. I get one of the errors like I always got trying to load the Glade coupon. Not a big deal, since it doesn’t seem to be on sale ($2.39 on SfH).
That’s the only one I can’t get to load too.
me too. not sure why. not on savingstar.
that coupon is now off their list of available coupons – is it it just just me?
Good morning to all, from which sunday paper is the one that they get both redplum and smartsource preview, I mean the state or city.
How about the Pantene Catalina 3/3 does anyone know if that is working
Hi, prifafer. the inserts will vary from paper to paper, city to city, state to state, so, there really isn’t one answer for you. Actual coupons that come out, even from previews, will vary, so, your best bet is to start doing your own research to see which papers you can buy in your area that will carry the coupons closest to what is reported in previews.
As an example, here in NW NJ, the newsstand copies of the StarLedger do not carry the Red Plum insert, however that insert arrives on Thursday with the subscribed, home delivery paper (some folks say they don’t subscribe, but, still receive that section with the grocery circulars in their mailbox, anyway). Both versions of that paper do carry a robust Smart Source insert. But, even with that, they don’t necessarily carry the same values of the coupons reported in the previews. For example, a coupon reported as .75/1,, will, in my paper, actually be $1/2 (yes, ugh!).
Now, the Sunday Record newsstand copy will carry both the RP and the SS, but, the SS will be a different version than the one that comes in the SL. It’s what I call the ‘lite’ version, but, oddly enough, it may also have a few different coupons that the SL didn’t!
The NY Post will carry some of the coupons, sometimes in different values. The NY News, to me, carries far less than other papers.
So, you need to do your due diligence and see which comes closest to what you want/need. In some cases, you will find that no paper in your area carries the coupons in the values reported in the previews (these are usually listed as R for regional in the matchups since they are not as likely to be in most papers). If that is the case, you might want to consider using a clipping service, instead, but, to start with, you might want to just do a test and pick up one copy of each paper you can get in your local area to start doing comparisons, first. Good luck! .
Tabla for answering. I have the Newark airport near me and they carry almost all newspapers and maybe I thought that I can get the same one that was published in the inserts previews. That is why I asked so I can try and do all the good deals this week. Any thoughts, ideas, or opinion? Let me know and again thanks very much!
So you’re going to go to Newark Airport and pay how much for parking in order to get coupons?
can someone answer my question about which sunday papers are the ones that is on the inserts previews? I am about to go and buy them for this week deals! Asap please. Thanks
Unfortunately, that’s not an easy answer. You will have to go through the papers at your store to see which papers carry the inserts you are looking for. You may have to purchase 2 separate papers to get exactly what you are looking for. Once, you find which papers carry those inserts, you will then know which papers in your area are best to buy. I have found that Pharmacies carry better inserted papers. Sorry this couldn’t be a simple answer. HTH!
I have avoided this subject for two years.
Having relocated to Pennsylvania from northern New Jersey, I have found this issue at Mount Pocono’s ShopRite to be disturbing and wonder whether it approaches improper. I never discussed it here but have reached the point when it feels offensive. I will use just two of the many examples from this past week’s match-ups.
In addition to that there are never any sales brochures offered as there are at other ShopRites which I have accepted as simply poor planning or just indiscriminate distribution, this consistent finding that I will describe seems to be something worse.
Using this prior week as an example….
The pediatric Triaminic was absent from the shelf and I was informed that “there was a two week product recall” whidh we know to be untrue. I remind you that the manufacturer coupon and Shop-Rite eCoupon made the offer free with overage and, at this store, the product absence made the offer conveniently unavailable to customers.
The Colgate mouthwash offer was not made available in the small size at all during the program and, thus, the opportunity to benefit was unavailable to customers. The store claimed to never offer that size so no rain checks were provided. This was deceptive as I routinely purchase the 8 ounce size but, during the program when the manufacturer coupon combined with the ShopRite eCoupon, it conveniently vanished from inventory.
It has been my experience that this practice is routine. I feel manipulated and deceived and, if I had alternative vendors from whom to conveniently shop as I had in northern New Jersey, I surely would change loyalties.
Am I alone in my experience?
Not Mt Pocono, but I have found similar issues with the SR stores owned by the Klein family in MD, particularly their Forest Hill store. They never had the Oral B toothbrushes or refills during the time of the good coupon and ecoupon, but suddenly they are carrying them. And I had the same issue with the Triaminic.
Many times they wont have a SR item that has an ecoupon available, but it will show up on the shelf once the ecoupon expires.
Thank you, Tracer, for your response.
It is unfortunate that vendors don’t recognize that such devious behaviors create long-term consequences far more costly to a reputation than any profit loss coming from the public taking advantage of opportunities offered by advantageous sale opportunities. The taste left in my mouth as the result of this store treating me in this manner is irreparable.
I understand your frustration and can see why you would be concerned. Not to defend your store owners, but I have found a similar situation in my local store, but I’ve come to believe it is not deliberate, rather unexpected sudden high demand due to such a good deal, combined with misinformation.
Let me give you an example, my local store in CT was out of triaminic most of the week. Anyone who shopped would likely think they had deliberately pulled it. I m sure it’s not a product that sells tremendously high volume during the week normally and they had 8 or 10 on the shelf on Sunday. I bought 2 and II know there are quite a few couponers that shop our store. I was in the store multiple times throughout the week and there was no more triaminic, so I’m sure others purchased it. When I went back on Saturday there were 2 more on the shelf and I bought them on my mother’s card. A friend messaged me Saturday night that she couldn’t buy them as she was told by a store employee they had been recalled. I messaged her back that they weren’t out of stock due to recall, rather I bought the last 2. I think the employee gave her misinformation based on what they had heard earlier in the year or just someone stating something incorrectly. II don’t think it’s a conspiracy….just misinformed employees.
My store claimed their was a product recall on the Triaminic as well; an issue with the cap. According to customer service, not all of the Triaminic was on recall, but whatever wasn’t was sold out.
Shoprite should have never offered that type of e-coupon deal.
Knowing there is a recall, should have sub for another brand ?
The recall was several months ago and irrelevant to the sale. And a substitution would have been worthless since the e-coupon and printed coupons were only for Triaminic and would not have worked with the substitute.
I also shop in CT and since I usually shop late on Saturdays- I have missed out on some pretty good deals here and there (I am used to it by now). However, I went early this past Sat. and looked for the Triaminic anyway and yes-of course-there were none on the shelves with the other medicines. I figured they were just sold out but I didn’t see a reserved “space” and a tag for them on the shelf either. There happened to be a grocery worker stocking shelves in the aisle and I asked him if SR even sold it. He told me that they don’t sell it anymore and I was was like-are you kidding me? He said they would be coming back soon. I acted all bummed and told him they were supposed to be on sale and I have a really good coupon, etc…lol. He turned around and took out a pack from the pallet he was working on and gave me the two I needed! I was ecstatic! I don’t know exactly what the deal was as to why he went through all that but in the end I was able to do the deal and I was very very happy leaving the store that day!
My Shoprite in Ct as also been out of a lot of items that are” money makers” like the Triaminic. I figured I just missed out- but today at check out they had the single packs of Nature Valley granola bars I asked how much they were and the cashier said I could have as many as I wanted If I made a dollar donation , so I did and I took 5 my reciept says $1 grocery. This seems very fishy to me !
Dannon Oikos or Light & Fit Greek Yogurt
There is a new B1G1F coupon for these at Smart Source under 77477 zip
Thanks all for your help! More questions about the ecoupons (sorry! I’m new)… So if I have a shoprite ecoupon loaded to my card and I buy 2 of the product, will the ecoupon be deducted twice? Also do all stores deduct the ecoupon and the manufacturer coupon, or does it vary by store?
No. ecoupons can only be used once. Many people have stated that they have had problems with a paper coupon and an ecoupon being deducted. Stores are individually owned and cashiers make their own rules. I personally have never had an issue in NJ
Ecoupons are one time use only and they don’t double. If you loaded the coupons to your card correctly, and, your account online is set up properly, and, you buy the correct product/s, and, you use the correct card the coupons were loaded to, the ecoupons will come off automatically without the cashier, you, the front end manager or anyone else doing anything else. Just remember to ask them to subtotal your order before you hand over your manf coupons. You don’t even have to tell them why you want it subtotaled. The ecoupons should be part of all store’s systems. I can’t see a family owned SR owner telling SR they don’t want to offer their ecoupons!
IF you have a problem with your manf coupons not coming off, do not ask the cashier, the front end manager or CS why, or, was it because I had ecoupons, etc. They will ALWAYS tell you you can’t use both. You can then choose whether or not you want to go to CS to tell them you didn’t hand over all your coupons and can you give them to them to be re-imbursed.
Also, Maria, since you are fairly new, in addition to checking out the beginner’s section by clicking on the dog on the top middle section, it would be very helpful to you to read all the comments throughout the week for the SR ecoupon post that is put up on Sundays, and, the SR Matchups that comes out on Saturdays. You will learn quite a bit if you stay on top of just these posts, alone! HTH!
Rocky I had to laugh on your statement “IF you use the correct card the coupons were loaded to” ! I have a few cards and have forgotten which one had the offer and which one I had used etc.. more times than I care to remember! Glad it’s not just me
I did the L’Oreal advanced hair care deal and only got a $1.50 cat. Did this happen for anyone else?
I did it twice today and received the $3 cat both times. Did you buy 3 bottles? It sounds as if you only purchased 2.
Bought 3 bottles of the advanced hair care shampoo. Usually have no problems getting Cat. to print out at my SR. Ended up paying $ .82 or $ .83 for each not bad but prefer Cindy’s outcome better lol. By the way I hate having to log in to post a comment.
You don’t have to log in. We have it set up so you can post as a quest. Just select the comment as guest button.
I bought 3 more bottle of the adv. Hair care shampoo on my neighbors SR card. This time a L’Oreal printout stating buy 1, buy 2, buy 3 or more and get x cat. For ea. Printed out before the $1.50cat. Brought both to CS. They didn’t listen or look. Stated that the printout for buy get x cat. Could have printed out at anytime prev. (which says I was trying to scam them). They also said That it was for the next purchase not this one. Sigh! Does anyone hate a phone no. For Catalina. Thank you.
I know this problem has Been addressed before but i cant seem to remember the solution. My shoprite e coupons used to Never give me a problem. The last two times they Never came off. I do self checkout and scan my card first. Is There something I am doing wrong? Please help!!!
can we use the bogo coupon for pantene buy one shampoo and get conditioner free so just paying 3.25 for both then substract 1.5 e coupon and have 1.5 catalina so having both for just 0.25
Mike, if you’re a member of the iScream Team, you can print coupons each month. Sometimes they have the same item a couple months in a row, sometimes they switch between the ice cream 1.5 qt and the novelties. I don’t recall it ever re-setting for me, but, I’m usually happy with their 2 coupons a month, at least (aside from what may come out on any coupon sites), so I don’t usually check more than that, but, for those that haven’t signed up, it is worth it!
Thank you for your comments… your posts are always so helpful. I am a member of the BB iScream Team and with all the great deals the past couple of months, I printed the $0.75/1 novelty coupons with expiration dates of 08/30/13 and 09/30/13 and used them. I went to the BB website yesterday and the current coupon is for the 1.5 quarts, so I googled “Blue Bunny coupons” and found a link for the novelties. I signed in using Facebook [like I always do] and was able to print coupons with a 09/30/13 expiration date. In the past, a blank BB coupon would print if I’ve already printed a coupon. A reset? I don’t know for sure but I’m happy to have another coupon to use since our supply has dwindled .
Hey, Mike! You are welcome, and, thank you for the additional information! I’m definitely going to give it a try! Much appreciated.
Has anyone been able to find the Pillsbury Heat N Go Pancakes at Shoprite?
yes I did. I found it beside the kelloge`s waffle in the frozen section
I can’t find the Diamond Crystal Salt coupon – what zipcode do you need for it?
I just got off the phone with shoprite customer service. First off he told me that there is a limit to how many e coupons can be loaded to your price plus card….88. Did not know that. I asked him why the coupons i had loaded wernt coming off and he said because If i was using a paper coupon of the same product it wount. Does anyone know about this…it’s always worked before?
I was told the same thing about the the ecoupons. Some worked and some didn’t with paper coupons and he stated the ecoupons should not come off.
I always ask the cashier to subtotal the order before starting to take off the paper coupons. When they hit subtotal, all ecoupons should come off, if they don’t, I know it has nothing to do with whether or not I used paper coupons.
Anyone have issues with the Smart Ones deal? I purchased 7 but my catalina didn’t print. machine was working as I got my other cats.
Mine didn’t print for the first seven so customer service gave me a $5 cat. It is for $5 next purchase of Smart Ones. I had to go so I didn’t get the other seven but I will go back. and see what happens.
just got back from SR. i did the crest 3D deals. I got all the correct items but $3 didn’t come off. CS took 15mins to find out why and gave me $3 cash back. Anyway, what i want to say i got 9 of the $1 each Kleenex tissue box used three $1 off 3 boxes coupon. so, is 66 cent ea. but $2 Catalina printed unexpected. 44 cents a box now.
