On the Fiber One Protein, is the maple and brown sugar 2/$6? Coupon is specific. Thanks!

    • Michelle T.

      Yes it is!

    • Ruby

It is for the maple brown sugar and Cranberry Almond as pictured above.

  • Jess

We have savingstar offers for these too.

  • ueen

Did someone try buying 8 and has gotten $12 instant savings?

    • Nicole LaFrance

      i did, works no problem

  • littlebites3

hi so i just came back from stop and shop …..had a problem cause it kept adding the 6.00 back on after the manufacturers coupons…did anyone else have this problem

    • kabbysteve

Stop and shop is funny, if you use a coupon on every item purchased, the instant savings needs to attach to an item, when I do deals like this , I pick up an item I will not be using a coupon on, such as a piece of fruit, milk, juice, cold cuts, anything. Did customer service help you out?

      • littlebites3

actually someone from customer service came and they helped me, but took forever and had a line behind me so i was like ugh why isnt this working…. and i have to go back cause i have more general mills cereals…. thanks for the tip i will add an item or 2 …this never happened before

        • kabbysteve

one banana will do it…good luck

  • Lesley

I had a $1.50 off 3 General Mills ecoupon sent to my card that came off. The $6 I stand savings did not come off, but CS gave my boyfriend $6 in cash. Plus, I will get 75 cents back from Saving Star for the Chocolate Toast Crunch (I already got he one for the Fiber One Protein)

    • Deena

Lesley, the $6 did not come off for me either. One of the cereals is not coded as being General Mills in the system (not sure which one…). Customer service was aware of problem, so I too got $6 in cash back. Coupons worked like a charm!

    • Teshawn

I didn’t know S&S had ecoupons. How do you find them?

      • misterbill

It was on the website when I logged in. I think it’s new.

      • Lesley

I get emails from Stop and Shop sometimes and they have offers you can link to your card. There are normally only only 5 or 6 each time. Sign up your card on their website.

  • Nicole LaFrance

just got back! :) got 16 free boxes :) mostly chocolate crunch cheerios but i cant complain when it’s FREE!

    • Ruby

Did you do that all in one transaction or in 4? I am planning on getting 12 on sunday.

      • Nicole LaFrance

I did 2 transactions. Only 4 of the same coupon will double. I had a mix of coupons so I was able to get 8 each transaction, in all I got 9 chocolate crunch Cheerios, 1 chocolate toast crunch, and 4 fiber one protein.

        • Denise Davison

          Woohooo love it! Great Job!

  • Nora

So I went to my local stop and shop to get this deal, but for some reason the cereals were not 2 for $6. However they were buy 4 save $6. Do not all stop and shops follow the same sales? Or could it just have been they forgot to put up the sign? Gonna check put another stop and shop, but does anyone know of the deals vary? Thanks!

    • ueen

Nora – Did you by any chance scan the product using the price scanner? In my observation, the deals/promotions are the same but there are times that prices vary.

  • gilly

Started snowing here plan on going tmrrw found more coupons want to get 8 boxes has anyone tried this on Long Island, NY THanks

    • Nora

I just posted (Nora) and I live on LI. My SS did not have them on sale. Checking another one!

      • Gilly

Thanks Nora I don’t normally go to S&S only if there is a great deal like this ….would hate to make the drive and the cereal is not 2/6$ the closest are the ones in Oceanside !

      • Belinda Opperman

I live on long island, did 2 separate transactions, 4 chocolate crunch cheerios and 4 toast crunch, paid nothing for both and walked out with 8 boxes free !!

    • tiff

I live on li also and my stop n shop did not have any of them on sale

      • Belinda Opperman

I went to the one in amityville

        • gilly

          Thanks will def try tmmrw!

        • tiff

Hey Belinda where in amityville is thst sto on shop located ?

  • vicki

Does anyone know if this is working before coupons?

  • Nora

So I just got back from S&S and bought 8 boxes of this cereal. Here’s the thing…so I bought the 8 boxes and then a pack of gum (that cost 99 cents). The coupons weren’t scanning right so the lady did them manually. After the 8 coupons that I gave her my total was 8.99 even though it should’ve been 99 cents (just the price of the gum). So turns out the $12 that should’ve automatically came off for buying 8 boxes never came off. I’m not sure why the total was 8.99 and not 12.99, before the $12 came off but I think the lady might’ve scanned the coupon too many times… Nevertheless, I told her that I was supposed to have $12 come off, so she called some guy over (possibly the manager?) and asked him what to do. He said that since I already saved money with the coupons, I couldn’t get the additional savings of $12 off…? I told him to show me where it said this, as it no where stated that the were any restrictions. After much of my complaint he finally told the cashier to just take $6 off (he was very annoyed) not the $12. So my total was $2.99 for 12 boxes of cereal and .99 cents pack of gum. I wasn’t gonna complain again to get an additional $6 off because I think I already got extra savings from the cashier scanning the coupon too many times.

Anyway, anyone have any input into this? Does it say anywhere that you can’t combing coupons and the “buy x products save x amount”?

    • IK

Nora – you should absolutely let corporate know of this experience. This is utter nonsense he was giving you.

      • rochelle

The cheapest my store has in silver spring, MD area is $3.29

      • ueen

IK – I observed that couponers (well taught couponers) are more knowledgeable than store personnel. This is one of the reasons why store personnel just blurt out answers that are convenient for them which of course are non-sense to us. I personally appreciate these types of situations because these are the ones that allow us couponers to grow in the couponing world.

    • gilly

Nora – they hate to see us save anything on LI! I want 8 boxes as well have the coupons think I will do 4 first put them in the car and return and do the other 4….will be going to the one in Oceanside…I would definitely complain to corporate!

      • ueen

Gilly – These are Stop and Shop registers limitation or set up. If you buy 8 just make sure you have 2 extra items in your car to cover the $12 instant savings and make sure you are not given the bag discount/s if you are using one.

        • gilly

Will do …going with my kids always wind up buying something else…

    • ueen

Nora – Stop and shop registers are programmed to look at an item to tag the instant savings to in the event that you are using coupons for all participating products for this type of promotion. Had you gotten two packs of gum, you would have gotten the $12 instant discount.

I can not however figure out your 8.99 total. It is possible that the manual coupon override may have triggered this. Since you have gotten 1 pack of gum only, your total after coupons and instant discount should have been 6.99 and not 8.99.

    • Keon

The SAME thing happened to me! But the thing is on my transaction I bought 4 boxes and used the coupons, BUT then 1.50 came off instead of 6. The mgr told me I wasn’t allowed to have the 6 because I had coupons. So why did the 1.50 come off???

  • Ruby

So if I did 4 of each cereal one in a single transaction will that mean that I will get $18 off instantly. good to know about the extra item. last time this kind of deal came around I had a problem with it. Also be on the look out for peelies on the boxes for $4.00 of a gallon of milk wyb4. They had them the last time they had this kind of deal it was awesome!

    • ueen

      Yes.

      • Ruby

***Does happy dance***** Thank you! Also for the extra item my stop and shop has little bags of chips that are only .50…these would make for an awesome filler!

        • ueen

          Great idea.

Kabbysteve suggested banana, which is what I did. But I did not get 3 banana’s for my 3 sets of 4 deal because I was afraid the registers will not look at the 3 banana’s as 3 separate items. So I got 1 banana (0.19). 1 lime (0.25) and bagel (0.69).

    • Ruby

Sorry that should be 24 not 18…it’s late and my brain doesn’t want to add! lol

      • ueen

I think your brain is working fine, it must be the happy dance. lol

$18 is correct bec there are only 3 types of cereal. I am assuming you were referring to the cereals listed with coupons linky for them. (fiber one, cheerios dark choc, choc toast crunch)

        • Ruby

Yes, 18 was right and I realized that last night when I did the deal…I was really tired and in need of my day off!!!

  • Jayleen

I went today to my SS in Clifton, nj, and when I finish my transaction my total to pay was 6 dollars, when I ask the cashier about the 6 dollar off, she told me that it was already deducted, so the cereal was price before 4.49, I walked out of the store

    • COUPONDIVAFIGHTER

what????????? I SHOULD OF BEEN FREE!!!!!!
IF IT WAS ME I WOULD’VE WRESTLE THEM THAT SECOND..LOL

    • Bunch

i went to the Carlstadt NJ store and got 2 Fiber One and 2 dk chocolate Cheerio crunch. Used all the coupons without anything extra. The total was zero. The self service cashier did have to do 2 of the coupons manually. It seems like each store and manager is different.

  • Karin Moore

Unfortunately the S&s by me usually catches on
And changes by the day I go. Oh we’ll. I tried
All r reg price at butler nj store . Will try another
Before sale ends. Anyone try west caldwell S&s

  • Gail White-Rison

your math doesn’t add up. 4 boxes at $3.00 a box is 12.00 deduct the coupons that have been doubled totals 6.00. that leaves a balance due of 6.00. only 2 boxes are free

    • ueen

Gail – It looks like you missed to factor in the instant savings of $6 wyb 4.

  • Keon

I’m so upset at S&S right now. I used the 4 Cs and bought two cheerios, one choc toast crunch, and one fiber one, all the ones listed on the 2/6 deal. So I cash out and at the end of the receipt it only gave me $1.50. I went to service and asked for the extra $4.50 and the supervisor told me that since I used coupons I was not eligible to get the 6 dollars off. If thats the case, why was I given $1.50? I left confused and annoyed but I am not one to make a fuss so I wrote to stop and shop online about it. I checked their coupon policy and the flier and nothing says you cannot combine the store offer and coupons. :-/

  • Danielle

In order for this to work, I don’t need to use 4 of the same coupon on 4 of the same cereal, right? I can buy 2 boxes of 1 cereal and 2 boxes of another, use my 4 coupons (2 different kinds) and buy let’s say 1 little banana and get the cereal for free and just have to pay for the banana? I just want to make sure I can mix and match the cereals/coupons and not need to purchase 4 of the same cereal w/ the same 4 coupons in the same transaction. I was planning on getting 2 boxes of the chocolate cheerios and then 2 boxes of the Fiber One.

    • misterbill

That should be fine. You just need to buy 4 boxes of cereal to get the sale price.

    • DianeG

Danielle, you’re good – ‘Got two boxes of the chocolate cheerios and two boxes of the Fiber One and one banana (the “official” filler item for Stop&Shop!) and it worked perfectly. At first the cashier asked for $6.00. I said – “um – er- something seems goofy – would you mind pressing subtotal, just to be sure everything is computing?” Viola ! – then it was just the price of the banana. If things don’t seem right – ask for a subtotal, sometimes that moves the calculation to the final step. hth

      • Danielle

Thanks so much. I plan on going tomorrow and hopefully everything will work perfectly.

  • Amanda H.

Just wanted to post since I have seen others with issues: I got 16 boxes (two different orders to avoid coupon limit issues) for $0.00 with no issues and nothing else purchased at Raritan, NJ Stop and Shop. I was prepared to duke it out with the manager if need be, but was happy it didn’t come to that. :) Thanks for this info!!

  • Danielle

I did this deal today twice in Northern NJ – 4 boxes in 2 separate transactions and mixed and matched the cereals each time and had no issues. I added 1 banana each time to my order. I had my S&S card scanned first, then the items scanned, then I waited for the cashier to press the subtotal button for the instant $6 savings to come off and then I handed over my coupons and ended up paying 20 something cents each time for the banana. What a deal!

    • DianeG

      good going !

      • Danielle

        Well, thanks. :)

  • misterbill

Shouldn’t this be a money maker, given that there are SavingStar offers for Chocolate Toast Crunch, Fiber One and Cheerios? I also found a $1.50/3 offer at the S&S website. I added it to my card, hopefully it will not cause a problem with the deal.

    • Michelle T.

Bill, the ecoupon came off for me, but the instant savings did not. I did have items in my order that did not have coupons. Of course CS reason was because I used coupons, but they refunded me the $6 with no problem. So, yes, a MM, but with a little hassle. If I try it again, maybe I’ll buy a banana too :)

      • misterbill

Did you not buy an additional item? That seems to be what is needed in general (plus you’d be $1.50 over). I’m going after dinner and will give it a try.

        • Michelle T.

Yes, I actually had a bag of rock salt and 4 Friskies cans. But I also had the $1.50/3 cereal ecoupon and $1/4 Scan-it on the cat food. So maybe I needed something extra as a filler.

          • misterbill

It’s certainly possible that the $1.50 coupon broke the $6 discount. And buying a 5th won’t work because it will end up at $3 instead of $1.50.

        • Kathy

Will the Scan-it offers apply the value to more than one of the same item? Thanks!

          • misterbill

It seems to vary. Some of them will say “limit 1″ on the bottom of the screen. Others don’t and will presumably work on more than one item. Easy enough to tell since the discount shows up on the scanner.

      • Sandy

I had the very same experience! Got the $6 at CS but only after I argued a bit. I had a ton of items that I did not have coupons for included in my shopping trip. ( I am in MA)

      • misterbill

I finally got to S&S and sure enough did not get the $6 because of the $1.50 ecoupon but customer service was nice and gave me the $6 in ash. Strangely, it seems like my different S&S cards are linked, because I did a second transaction on a different card and the $1.50 also came off. I had noticed that when I logged in at the S&S site it was showing the coupon already clipped. Hopefully if I go back again it will not get taken off again and I’ll have a simple transaction.

I bought 2 of the chocolate Cheerios on one of the cards, hopefully SavingStar fixed the problem that caused us not to get the credit when purchased at SR earlier in the month. I will print 2 more coupons and do the deal again later in the week. The store was actually out of variable amount MasterCard’s, so I need to go to another store, anyway.

        • Michelle T.

I am happy to report that Saving Star has posted my savings today for the cereal :)

          • misterbill

Even for the chocolate Cheerios? That would be great news, since that would mean I don’t have to contact SS about my missing SR credits. When did you make your purchase? BTW can you confirm that the S&S e-coupon is a single use per card? I can’t login to their site at the moment to see if it’s been removed from my list. An extra $1.50 is nice, but I am going to check out a different S&S for the MasterCards and would rather not have to deal with CS there on the $6 for the cereal.

            • Michelle T.

No, sorry, I only bought Fiber One and Chocolate Toast Crunch.

              • misterbill

That’s too bad. Would be good to hear if the Dark Chocolate Crunch Cheerios have worked for anyone. I guess I’ll know in a few days if they worked on this order.

                • IK

i got 4 dark choc cheerios last sat, got ss credit today.hth

                  • misterbill

                    Great to hear! Thanks.

          • misterbill

So when did you make your purchase? I’m still waiting for my SavingStar to post. I made my first purchase on Tuesday night. I know that S&S is slow to post.

            • Michelle T.

I purchased them on Friday, so it did take a few days to post.

  • KhiKhi

Hows the total coming out to free?
When i do the math 4 boxes are still for $2 not free :/

    • Melinda Dilione

Are you doubling the $0.75 coupons to $1.50 off? Stop & Shop will double these coupons to $1.50 which is how they are free after the instant savings. Hope that helps!

      • KhiKhi

Oh i didnt know that! :) do they usually double anythin under a dollar?

        • Christina D.

          yup, anything under $1

  • IK

Hello – this is somewhat unrelated but I was hoping to get others’ opinion on my situation. I went to do this deal. I had 2 IPs for each Fiber One, and Multigrain Cheerios Dark chocolate – not by any means excessive amount of coupons. I always print in black and white, and I often ‘reuse’ blank sides of paper sheets – in that particular case I had sudoku games on the other sides I had printed earlier. So when I handed the coupons to the cashier – she left with them without saying a word – and I saw her ‘hang out’ by the customer service. I inquired what was going on and she told me that my coupons are photocopies. To say I was insulted is to say nothing. I demanded to speak to the manager, and described the situation to him. He POLITELY told me the coupons did look like photocopies to him. When I asked how he made that determination he seemed hesitant to answer, so I started probing around ‘is it because they are black and white’ – ‘yes’ – and also ‘they have stuff on the back’. Well – long story short they did take them – it took me about 40 minutes to buy 4 boxes of cereal – and I am furious. I intend to continue printing in black only, and re-use my sheets – I have never had a problem before this. My question to everybody is this – while I can understand that the stores maybe using their due dilligence, and there are a lot of dishonest people out there – I feel and want to complain to the corporate about this. Would you guys? Sorry for the long post and thank you in advance!

    • ueen

Sorry to hear about your experience. My answer question is I would not complain. He was doing his job and he was polite.

      • Kari

I agree with Ueen. I actually am still hesitant to print in B&W for this reason. I know most ppl on here do, but from a store perspective I feel like those would be more likely to be questioned. I know you can also photocopy in color but I feel like my inkjet semi-draft quality prints do not “look” photocopied. Sorry to hear it took so long though!

    • Danielle

Just so you know, each coupon has a different number/bar code on it so if you have multiples of the same coupon on black and white and the person claims you photocopied them, you can politely point out that each coupon has a unique bar code number so that can not be the case. It eliminates all doubt. Coupons usually have 2 numbers on them – 1 is the same on all coupons – it’s the code for the product I think and then the 2nd one should be different on each. I must say, I have thought about using black/white but have kept with the colored ink because of this potential issue. I don’t want to have problems.

      • IK

Thanks, Danielle- I did point this out to them – but that was not their concern – it was that they had been copied from already used coupons…again, I never had this issue, not to mention stuff printed on the back of the coupon…

  • Kari

Just did this deal at the Silver Spring Giant. DC Cheerios, Fiber One and CTC were on sale 2/$6. Did three separate transactions with this process at SCO: Scan all 4, hit “Finish and Pay” (the instant $6 was taken off AFTER this step), hit the “Back to scan more items” button and then scanned all my coupons. No tax on food in MD so FREE! :)

  • gilly

Finally went and had no problem also went to the SCO first time purchased four with something else put them in car went back in and purchased another four again at SCO had no problem….don’t even need the cereal will donate!

  • Elaine

Sorry if this was covered below… But can I purchase ALL IN THE SAME TRANSACTION, 4 of each Fiber One Protein, Chocolate Toast Crunch or Cheerios Muligrain Dark Chocolate, use 12 coupons (4 of each one) and receive a total of $18 instant savings? or do I need to do 3 transactions? TIA!

    • misterbill

I haven’t done it, but others have reported doing the deal more than once in a single transaction.

    • ueen

Yes you can. Make sure you do not have the 1.50/3 online coupon loaded to ur stop and shop card as it’ll ruin your deal. If ever you have it, add 3 filler items more for a total of 6 that wud cost at least $1.50. 3 for 3 ($6) instant savings and 3 for the 1.50/3

      • misterbill

Are you saying that the $1.50/3 comes off 3 times?

  • misterbill

Can someone confirm that the S&S $1.50 e-coupon only works on your first order? Their site isn’t allowing me to login at the moment so I can’t see if it’s still listed.

    • IK

      worked once for me…

  • misterbill

Went back tonight and bought 12 boxes on one order (using a card I had used yesterday, so the $1.50/3 e-coupon was not an issue). Also bought 4 Bolthouse juices, and 3 of the $1 sale produce items (baby carrots, sliced mushrooms, Mann’s broccoli slaw). Paid a total of $5 (4x50c for the juice, 3x$1 for the veggies). I used self scan and everything worked perfectly.

  • Lynette

I have a quick question. Do I have to use the .75 cent off coupons? I found coupons for the same brands but its $1.00 off. I’m only using 2 coupons that take $1.00 off. I plan to make 3 separate transactions buy 4 of each cereal so in total 12 boxes. Would I also get 18 instant savings?

    • Mark

Sorry, but this deal is over. It was last week.

      • lynette

Odd I just saw this on facebook on my feed. But now i looking at the date and it is indeed old.

        • http://livingrichwithcoupons.com/ Cindy Livesey

That is one of my biggest frustrations with Facebook. They deliver what they think you want to see in your newsfeed. Half the time I don’t see the stuff I want to see but rather stuff that was posted 2 weeks ago. Makes me nuts.

          • Kari

You need to change your feed from “Top Stories” to “Most Recent” :)

            • Kari

              Like this!

              • http://livingrichwithcoupons.com/ Cindy Livesey

                Nice tip Kari, thank you.

    • Kathy

It’s true this deal was last week however to answer your question (for possible future deals). If your Stop&Shop doubles coupons, the $0.75/1 is best because it will double to $1.50/1. I didn’t do the deal but yes, I believe others said the $18 came off (per transaction)….check some of the comments below for more info.

      • lynette

Thanks :)! But I though all Stop and shops double their coupons.

        • Kathy

Typically only ones up to $0.99 so I wasn’t sure why you preferred using the $1 Q…..if your store doubles $1 Qs then you’re one lucky lady! :-)

  • Etah

FYI, this deal ended on Thursday. It was only for a their sales cycle week which is Thursday – Thursday.

    • misterbill

      Actually, Friday-Thursday.

  • misterbill

“Only” a week after my purchases, they finally showed up in SavingStar tonight. I’m guessing they batch transactions and send them over once a week, since purchases made on the 18th and 19th both showed up at the same time, plus Michelle reported that her purchases showed up a week ago today.. The good news is I got credit for the Cheerios, so now I don’t have to get SS to pay up for my missing transactions from Shoprite.
