Starting 2/9.. Spend $10.00 in nivea and get a $3.00 catalina. At Shoprite!

    • Ginny Pasqualone

Looks like there are several Nivea coupons coming out in the 2/9 RP as well:

$3/2 Nivea Lip care products .50oz tin, .17oz stick or .3oz tube exp. 2/23/14 (RP 2/9/14)
$2/1 Nivea Men body lotion 2-21oz exp. 3/9/14 (RP 2/9/14)
$2/1 Nivea Men Face care product or 2 shave gels or foams .33-8.7oz exp. 3/9/14 (RP 2/9/14)
$3/2 Nivea Men Body wash, shower gel or lathering body scrub 12-16.9oz
      exp. 2/23/14 (RP 2/9/14)

      • Dipty Joshi

Not a single Nivea coupon in today’s RP… what a shame… I really use these lip balms. I am really upset and sad;(

        • bunch

Not in my papers either. Very bummed out.

          • stacy

i have one page but not sure what it came out of im a newbie to couponing its a whole page expires 2/29 lip care and 3/9 lotion.

        • Sonya

Why don’t u trade with someone. I do it all the time.

          • Dipty Joshi

That’s a good idea… Will have to check with friends from non Bergen County, NJ. Hopefully they are willing to trade

  • mrsclaire

i’d like to print out the new .75/1 birdseye recipe ready item, but I can’t. I’ve tried to update my java, but I must be doing something wrong. when I click on the coupon link after I think I’ve downloaded java (and yes, I follow all the prompts) it tells me I don’t have the updated version. what am I doing wrong???

    • Brandy

Mrs. Claire, I have been having the same issue.. :(

    • ss

Try lowering your security setting to low. Print your coupons then put back to prior level. which is prob medium or high. I had to do this earlier to print as well from Redplum site with Java.

    • NELL

You need to turn off your computer for every update or download..If you did turn off your pc try another browser..I couldn’t print certain coupons on IE but obviously it works flawlessly on Chrome..

    • Ginny Pasqualone

I have to click the plugin icon at the top of my browser window and click “Enable” and then “Later” when it prompts me to upgrade, every single time.

    • Stephanie Shock

I had the same problem in firefox no matter what, but it printed in Chrome.

    • Kim

Do you by any chance have a Mac? Same problem here. I’ve tried it all … evidently Smartsource coupons will only print on a Mac if you go back to the older version of Java. I can’t quite figure out how to do that so I’m waiting until they fix it. Evidently this should be occurring some time soon. Not holding my breath though … printing SS coupons from my Mac has always been hit or miss.

      • http://Saraskinny.blogspot.com Sara

It works in firefox on a mac. Won’t work in chrome or safari with the newest java.

        • maryc

It doesn’t work for me in any browser.I have a mac.I don’t know what else to do,I have tried everything.

          • http://Saraskinny.blogspot.com Sara

You have to go to your system preferences, then security, then change it to allow apps downloaded from anywhere.

            • Kim

I tried that and they still wouldn’t print! I think my Mac just hates smart source :D

              • http://Saraskinny.blogspot.com Sara

that’s really weird, mine won’t work with chrome or safari but as long as I allow the apps and use firefox it works every time. It’s only smart source all the others work on any browser :/ odd.

      • Sandy

I’m with Sara on this on. With a Mac use Firefox and works every time!

      • Jen

I have been having that same problem with smart source and red plum. Thanks for the heads up!

    • Faith

what browser are you using? I use chrome…don’t click update. Click “run this time” and then “later” if that option shows up.

    • Harry

you may be having 2 java versions installed. its possible because thats what I had and was getting same error. You have to open the Java control panel and check box the latest one and uncheck the older one. (best is to delete the old one if thats an option, but if not as in the case of work pc which requires old version). Also in java panel, select both the mozilla family and IE and lower security to lowest possible on the slider.

    • Kim

To fix the red plum issue go into your Close your browser, First go to Control Panel and then go into Programs and click on JAVA once in there go to settings and delete all 3 types Next go into the Advanced tab and lower the setting to Medium. I did this and now I can print

  • Lisa

The Playtex ECoupon is for the 50 count boxes which are not the ones on sale. However, I don’t even see where my SR carries a 50 count box!

    • DianeG

‘checked a few locations from SFH – ‘not seeing 50 ct – I’ve never seen a 50 ct box. (Maybe it’s a multi-pak in club size savings?) hmm……

    • DianeG

On Sat. Feb 8th, SR in Stirling, NJ has the 50 ct pack priced at 2/$14.99. (I didn’t see anything that noted the end date of that pricing.) If you buy one it’s $9.49. Their SFH is based out of Chatham, so the item does show on SFH.
      $14.99, – $2.00 SRecpn, – $1.00, $1.00 = $10.99 for 100 tampons ($.11 ea) (I’m assuming you can print two cpns – ‘can’t get them to print today.) The package is a mix of 25 reg.and 25 super. hth

    • jess

the $2/2 50 ct playtex ecoupon expires today, saturday 2/8

      • DianeG

Thanks – ugh – ‘just noticed it was in the “Buy 2 get $2.00 catalina” section. Does that CAT end today too or starts on FEB 9 ? ‘can’t seem to find any info about it.

        • jess

looks like a misinterpretation of the deal on page 8 of the 2/9 ad

      • Melinda Dilione

Yes, it does expire today so I’m removing it from the match ups now. Sorry we missed that. Also, the deal is Buy 1 Playtex AND and 2 Stayfree or Carefree Products and get a $2.00 Catalina. We had this listed incorrectly but I’ve just updated it now. Thanks for picking up on that!

        • jess

isn’t it actually $2 instant savings?

          • Melinda Dilione

Oh geez, after reading it a third time, I see that! Not sure how we missed that so many times. I updated again. Thanks :)

  • barbara

My prices are higher here in philly so my oop is going to be more.. cereal and pop tarts are $1.97 and our shelf price is higher also..

    • kellie

seems like the 88 cents turn into 97 cents a lot in your area. so do you just expect it to be that way when you see the preview here? do they ever leave anything at 88 cents?

      • barbara

I always just wait .. i know that some prices will be higher here. Not everything just a few things.. And to add insult to injury we dont get full doubles.. So our out of pocket will be higher anyway.. So i cant really go by the match ups.. i have to calculate my own..

    • Antoinette

      Hi Babara,
I just wanted to say hi. I am also in Philly. It’s good to see a fellow local coupon-er. Do you shop at the SR on 24th&Oregon?

      • barbara

        I am in Northeast Philly..

      • Aminah

I’m also in Northeast Philly but I shop at Warminster where they triple coupons.

  • Pinou Sideratos

Whoknew has $1 back on Ibotta/shoprite making it .49 after that and coupon

    • Melinda Dilione

      Thanks I added that in!

  • Pinou Sideratos

I have a coupon for .75 off any one (1) Dove Anti-persprirant/Deodorant, also making it free this week. It expires 3/2, not sure from which insert it came or what date (I clip.. don’t keep track of who/what/where/etc)

    • Nicole LaFrance

RP from last week i believe. some of us got $1/2. Boooo. i have a few .75/1 though.

    • Jean Devlin Price

shop rite has on sale for 99 cents

  • cheryl

participating items list for the catalinas:

    shoprite(dot)com/goldsavings/

    • cheryl

it’s not too specific for most items, as far as sizes, but does seem to indicate that things not pictured on the ad page will be included.

based on the picture, it looks like 12 pk coke is included. i still have free coupons for that, so a catalina will be a nice bonus! :)

    • tiffany

      thanks for posting this!!

  • Pinou Sideratos

for the cheerios deal, I have a printable coupon for .60 off 1 regular cheerios, mine expires 2/24.. you may want to add that to the above list, not sure if it is still available

  • Amber

I’m seeing Dial foaming hand soap for 1.99 with shoprite ecoupon $1/2 AND in RP1 1/26/14 another $1/2, $1 each.

  • Amber

Bounty DuraTowel .54 with P&G 1/26/14 .20 off doubling. Qualifies for Catalina.

    • Amber

correction .59. and .49 with .25 off printable from P&G site.

      • http://Saraskinny.blogspot.com Sara

The printable that’s up now is only for 6pk or larger

  • barbara

Folgers K cups only come in the Gourmet Selections So the $1/1 from 1/12 RP will work for them since the coupon includes K cups

    • Jen

Thanks, hoping it works off shelf price

  • barbara

If you have any kelloggs rewards with the $15 savings promo on the box the IP coupons that you get include , Jif, Smuckers, Folgers, and just about everything included in the deal..

    • jen

      ???? what does that mean?

      • barbara

        Kelloggsfamilyrewards(dot)com.
There are many cereal promos for different products.. On some boxes there is a $15 in saving on the box.. when that code ( found inside the boxes ) is entered in to your rewards account.. They send you a link to $15 worth of coupons.. to print..

    • jennifer

Hi barbara, i am in northeast philly as well. I shop at shoprite at knorr, and i think they are a pain to deal with about couponing. The shoprite at aramingo is easy to deal with.

      • barbara

yes Aramingo is very pleasant.. I go to oxford ave .. because it is closer to me.. they are also easy to deal with.. sometimes they give you issues with some IP’s but that can happen anywhere.

  • Pinou Sideratos

The .50/1 coupon under the froot loops is no NLA, however I found another .50/1 at kellogsfamilyrewards in the coupon section.

  • DianeG

  • Ginny Pasqualone

Cindy, Denise, and co – just wanted to thank you again for all the great deals lately! I made chicken fajitas today with so many items that I got for free or cheap over the past week – Friendship sour cream (free), Sabra salsa and guac ($0.99), Birds eye stir fry peppers and onions ($0.69), and Old El Paso tortillas (super cheap) – I am learning how to find the items that my family will actually use, and combine them in clever ways to save money and also eat yummily and healthily! =D

    • http://livingrichwithcoupons.com/ Cindy Livesey

That is so great to hear! I always try to tell naysayers that it is possible to eat well and coupon. You are proof of exactly that. Thanks for sharing!

    • Michele F.

I totally agree. I still get people telling me that it’s impossible to shop with coupons and eat healthy. In the last year alone my BF and I have tried and loved more healthy, organic, natural products than we ever have before. All because of coupons. And I’ve been able to drop our shopping trips down from 65+ dollars each week to between 35-45. LOVE COUPONS!

  • StephLB

Ronzoni pasta you have a coupon listed that has an expiration date of today. I don’t have the coupon to double check.

  • Brenda T

honey melt organic buttery spread is 3.99 at shoprite.there’s a 3.00 coupon from coupons.com and a $3.00 e coupon making them free and a $2.00 MM

  • Cindy

Is there a limit of Catalina’s that you can get on one card ? Or do I need mutable cards ? Thank you

    • Ginny Pasqualone

You can do multiple catalinas but you will need to do separate transactions. HTH! :)

  • Binkey19

anyone try out the catalinas?? did they work on shelf price?? so excited for the deals!

    • Ginny Pasqualone

The Catalina did NOT work on shelf price for me. I bought approx. $28.00 worth of shelf price items for Kellogg’s, and only $3.00 spat out. I walked to customer service and talked my way into getting the remaining $7.00 based on the shelf prices, but it did not automatically spit out. The customer service ladies read through the official printouts they had from SR Corporate and couldn’t figure out whether the total was based on shelf or sale prices so they gave it to me. Confusing!

      • kesha

odd what was your sale price total? shouldn’t u at least have gotten the $5 cat for spending $15?

        • Ginny Pasqualone

Sale price total was $20.36; my after-doubled-coupon total was $9.36.

        • Kari

I think you’re right, something she bought must not have been coded for the Cat. Sorry Ginny! That sucks!

      • kc

I did the Kelloggs deal and got 2 $5 catalinas. The Kelloggs worked on pre-price plus (double check shelf prices because some are lower than others -especially the cereals!).

        • Ginny Pasqualone

Glad it worked for you!!! :) I TRIPLE checked shelf prices – I’m in Connecticut, so ours are always the highest anyway, haha!

          • kc

I’m in New York and get annoyed when I see NJ prices and then see my ad! My pop tarts and cereals were $1.97 instead of $1.88.

            • Ginny Pasqualone

Oh I know it! And Marcal coupons are $1.88 (CT) vs $1.77 (NY), Dawn was $0.97(CT) instead of $0.88(NY) last week, ShopRite diapers were $3.79 (CT) versus $3.49 (NY) last week… I actually had a good conversation with one of the ShopRite managers about the pricing philosophy and why we end up paying more (distance from distribution center, extra costs incurred, etc.). So it makes sense but I can still complain, right? :D

              • Karen

Two Rice Krispies, two Raisin Bran, 3 Pop tarts all $1.88 each. Worked on the pre-plus price of $20.75 and received $5.00 Cat. HTH!

              • Kathy

I’m in CT also and so I am happy to complain right along with you :-) For example; I still can’t get over the Edy’s Ice Cream being $1.99 at Stop & Shop (NJ) when it’s BOGO for us and that “deal” works out to $3.25 each! That’s a really big difference compared to the usual 10-15 cents here and there!

            • barbara

              Philly is the same way..

          • Harry

To both of you who did the deal early: Thanks so much for reporting back. Would very much appreciate if you could list the items in your
transaction just so we can try to do something different and see if it
            works.

            • kc

Harry – I bought 3 cereals, 3 pop tarts, 2 Special K cereal bars and 1 fudge stripe cookies. Sale price was $19.29 (New York prices – ugh!) and used coupons that brought the total down to $7.29!

              • Kari

Which cereals? I’m trying to configure a list. :) Thanks!

                • kc

1 Apple Jacks, 1 Corn Pops and 1 Froot Loops

              • AA

Did the same but no Catalina printed. In fact I didn’t get any Catalina for Nivea lip balm, Kelloggs or Coca-cola in NWNJ :(

            • Ginny Pasqualone

3 Apple Jacks, 1 Crunchy Nut cereal, 4 of the Special K nourish hot cereal :) Sale price total was $20.36; my after-doubled-coupon total was $9.36.

              • Harry

Crunchy Nut cereal does not appear to be on the list for the CAT.
Working backwards from what you have posted, your total comes to 17.60 on the sale prices and you should have got $5 and not $3 back. Only explanation is the Apple Jacks have not been coded correctly to ring up for the CAT. If so we still don’t know if the Nourish work off sale or shelf prices until someone else posts a deal with those.
                Thanks for the info.

              • Denise Davison

Ginny… I think it is the Special K Nourish Hot Cereal that is the problem… I did the same and did not get the Cat… So I went back and bought 4 of them ($11.96) and got nothing, so I am thinking that is where the problem lies

                • Kari

Which would also explain why she got the $3 Cat and not the $5 b/c if you take out the Nourish the total is around $13.

                • Ginny Pasqualone

Thanks – that all makes sense. Next time around (gotta print more coupons!!) I’ll make sure to stick to the list on the website… and bug customer service if the Special K Nourish Hot Cereal is a problem again. :) At least customer service was really nice about it.

                  • Rebecca

Ginny, I had the same problem on Sunday. I bought three boxes of Apple Jacks and eight packages of the Special K Nourish hot cereal. My total before coupons (sale price not shelf price) was over $25, but I only got the $3 cat. I did use a bunch of coupons which took off about $10. We’ll I went to Customer Service to ask them to print me out the other $7 and they told me that the $25 had to be after coupons. I couldn’t believe it and tried yo argue with them that it did not state that anywhere in the ad but they wouldn’t budge on it. I haven’t gotten the chance yet this week, but I intend to call corporate ShopRite and complain.

              • susan

so, crunchy nut is not on the list, and nourish is apparently not counting – although it should – so only the apple jacks counted, and on “shelf price” of $10.17 for 3. it’s a shame they keep missing items when they code these things. :P

            • kabbysteve

I got 2 $5 catalinas for Kelloggs, I purchased: 2 Raisin Bran, 1 corn pop, 2 Fruit Loops, 1 Cocoa Krispies and 2 Kashi Vineyard…good luck

          • Lori

Ginny, Which store were you in?

            • Ginny Pasqualone

              Brookfield, CT

        • Nicole LaFrance

i got kelloggs but the coke one gave me nothing and i spent over $10 even with coupons.

          • diane

what coke products did you buy?

            • Nicole LaFrance

I got a Dasani Water, 2 minute maid OJs and 2 Powerade.

              • diane

what size dasani? was the minute maid in cartons or bottles?

                • Nicole LaFrance

it was the items pictured in the add, 12 pk Dasani, and 2 cartons OJ. I got the Healthy Kids kind, wonder if it wasnt programmed.

    • wendy

Would love to know if anyone got the cat on the Kashi go lean crunch. Just the go lean is on the list and I would love to hear another’s experience before I head out on Tues. Thanks! My family is recently addicted to this and the reg price is too high for a couponer!

  • Laura D.

Will you please post the zip code you used, I’m not finding it. TIA!

    • Denise Davison

That coupons.com coupon is NLA … we were totally bummed about that this morning :(

      • nancy

I found a $4 coupon on hopster, it is locked, have to do certain actions to unlock.

        • Dipty Joshi

I had printed the coupon earlier, but i don’t see it now. Oh! bummer!! Which section did you find it?

      • Rebecca

It disappeared today…but there is a $2 coupon on Hopster.com and you can boost up to $4

      • DianeG

Denise and SS, It seems like if you haven’t printed Melt coupons before, Hopster has Melt coupons. $2.00 (just print it) and boosted $2.25, $3.00. It seems like if you printed the lower value coupons, then you’ll get the $4.00 locked. I think that how it works….

      • anonymous
      • kristianne

i live in bergen county..i can’t find the honey melt organic spread in any of my local shoprites…does anyone know who carries it in north jersey or rockland county?

        • Denise Davison

Have you tried looking at the ShopRite at Home for stores in your area?

          • kristianne

            Brilliant! Thank you!

  • Ginny Pasqualone

A couple of notes on the deodorant specials: The Right Guard $0.99 deodorants are limit 4 per transaction – the register beeps if you try to buy more, even though the coupons are $2.00/2 so normally you would be able to get 8 per transaction via the 4 coupon policy. Also, the $1.00/1 Dove coupons say limit 2 per shopping trip

    • ss

The limit is typically 4 per variety. Did you buy 8 of the same type? TIA

      • Ginny Pasqualone

OOH. I did buy 4 of the same type. I’ll try mixing up and getting two different varieties when I go back later today!

        • http://Saraskinny.blogspot.com Sara

The coupons worked on the right guard sport thats on sale? Coupon says excludes sport so I was just wondering if it still went through no problem

          • Ginny Pasqualone

Oh weird, yeah, it worked on the Sport that I bought.

            • ss

Same here. Bought 16 in all (2 transactions) and the $2 coupons scanned fine.

  • Dombroskibt

The Nivea lip care calculation is wrong. Should be free before Catalina and then $3 money maker after that. They are on sale for $1.49 and the coupon is $3 off of 2

    • Denise Davison

      Thanks, fixed that!

  • Renay

    Shop-Rite Coke deal
S-R has a lot of money back deals starting in the morning. I figured this one out. Buy 8) 6 packs of coke + 1) Minute maid OJ = $25.99 use -$8.00 (Coke c/o’s SS 2/9/14 ) = $17.99 – $10.00 Catalina towards your next order. Final price $7.99 + tax. Happy shopping!

    • Ginny Pasqualone

Unfortunately, ShopRite only lets you use 4 like coupons per transaction.

      • Renay

It depends on the S-R that you go to. I’ve been told that 4 alike coupons when they are doubled. I’ve purchased (10) of the Rubbermaid 4) pack containers in one order and all coupons scanned w/out a problem.

    • barbara

the coke coupon is for 12oz can 6pks not bottles

  • Elaine

The digiorno pizzas are $6.29 the $4.47 are the new thin pizzas which doesn’t meet the required onces on the coupon.

  • rose

The soft & dri deodorant coupon doubled for me so it came out free!

    • Nicole LaFrance

oooh thanks! i was hoping they would!!!

      • lana

fyi, a more recent post by the same person about this coupon:

        rose • 10 hours ago

Hey dawn, I used t on Sunday and it didn’t scan so they typed it in manually and it doubled.

  • Laura D.

I have read below that some of you are having trouble with the Catalina Promotions today. I received an email from Shoprite today with list of participating items for each promotion. Here is the link, take out the spaces, hoping to avoid moderation. Just scroll down the page to see the lists. HTH!

    • jenn

      Thanks Laura!

  • Ken

Is the Coke cat printing off shelf price? I know there isn’t coupons but I only drink Coke Zero bottles and the cat makes them a good deal especially off shelf price

    • barbara

no the coke will be printing off the sale prices.. All the items in the Ad except the powerade singles are priced with out your Shoprite card.. So you use those prices to calculate.

    • ss

Bought 2 Coke 6 packs and 4 Powerade (used 4 – .50 coupons) and got the $3 Cat

  • http://Saraskinny.blogspot.com Sara

What zipcode are we finding the crisco coupon in? I can’t find it anywhere. Maybe NLA :/

    • http://Saraskinny.blogspot.com Sara

Nevermind, googled and managed to link to it. Couldn’t find it on the site on my own though… strange.

      • http://Saraskinny.blogspot.com Sara

They’re no longer on sale at my shoprite, and the ecoupon isn’t available either.

  • http://Saraskinny.blogspot.com Sara

    I’m not seeing the ecoupon

    • Denise Davison

Hi Sara.. which ecoupon are you looking for?

      • http://Saraskinny.blogspot.com Sara

The honey melt one barbara was talking about

        • barbara

some ecoupons are called Just for you coupons.. Not everyone gets them.. I have a Trop 50 ecoupon that is labeled ” just for you” But it is not available on My SIL card..

        • Denise Davison

That one is NLA to clip

  • Kim

I purchased: 2 Fruit Loops, 2 Kashi cereals, 2 Kellogs Nourish Hot Cereal and 2 Special K Bars (shelf price of $3.39) … used coupons, etc. and only received one $5 CAT. Had no problems at all with CS scanning another one for me. I definitely purchased $25 on shelf prices and chose items that were listed on the site. I am thinking it may be working only on sale prices. If you have a good CS shouldn’t have a problem getting the second $5.00 CAT printed.

    • rob

I purchased 2 corn pops, 1 apple jacks & 1 PB Pop tart & got the $3 cat so maybe it depends on a particular item you purchased.

    • wendy

Kim, did you buy the go lean crunch? trying to prep. Thanks!

      • Kim

Hi Wendy … no I purchased two different ones but they were all together on the shelf! I think it will work fine with the Go Lean Crunch honestly!

    • Denise Davison

I think its the Special K Nourish that is halting the Catalina from printing and this is because I did a transaction this morning with 4 nourish and 2 froot loops got nothing, went to CS she printed it for me but thought it was because i used coupons (silly silly) So just to show her that it is not the coupons that is effecting the Catalina, I went back and bought 4 Special K Nourish and not nothing… So I am thinking that we need to be careful with those.

      • Kari

        Good info!! Thanks!

      • dina

did you buy all of the flavors?

        • Denise Davison

I bought Cranberry Almond and Maple Brown Sugar Crunch

        • Ginny Pasqualone

I bought Maple Brown Sugar Crunch and the Raisin one as well.

      • Harry

I called SR CS and let them know that the Nourish is not generating the CAT though its in the list. They took down the info and said they will pass it on to Catalina marketing. Hopefully this gets resolved before the deal ends. I had emailed as well but no response after 24 hours; it appears emails go only to the specific store and not to the SR corporate. So you cannot email the SR HQ – only phone calls.
Meanwhile if it did work for someone with the Nourish, please do post.

        • sue

did you see that the nourish is cheaper, will have an ecoupon, and is part of the kelloggs dollar days deal next week? maybe better to get it then. customer service can’t argue with a simple buy 5 deal if it somehow isn’t programmed right again. ;)

          • Harry

thanks for pointing that out – yes will surely be doing it next week as well but the ECPN is going to be limited to one per card whereas this week the CAT is unlimited (as well as a real good deal if the CAT worked) and hence better for stockups. I think I will be trying the deal later this week with the Nourish and if it does not print correctly, will use the Catalina Marketing website to have the CAT sent home.

            • sue

yes, the ecpn is limited, but next week’s cat may also be unlimited – and may actually work! ;)
the price is lower, and you don’t have to buy so much extra stuff because you don’t have to reach a $ amount while still limiting coupons.

              • Harry

thats right, I didn’t see that the Nourish are included in the 5 for 5 next week and will be doing it too.

Here is my strategy/scenario for this week if it might help someone…considering that the Nourish may not print and also considering the 4 like coupons per transaction (have to do this today to get ck51 $3):
                2x Raisin Bran (shelf 3.25, sale 1.88)
                2xCorn Flakes (shelf 3.09, sale 1.88)
                2xFrootLoops (shelf 3.39, sale 1.88)
                2xNourish(shelf 3.49, sale 2.99)
Total Shelf 26.44 (19.46 if Nourish wont count)
                Total Sale 17.26
                Coupons(2×0.50Froot Loop, 4×0.75 Any cereal from rewards, 2×0.70 Nourish)= $10.80
                OOP 6.46
CAT $5 should print and another $5 may print (if not can use the Catalina Marketing website to request it)
Further, $3 back in Checkout 51 for Froot Loops+Corn Flakes+Nourish
Total 1.54 Money Maker after CAT and Ck51 and without the Nourish Counting. 6.54 MM if the Nourish counts.
If the Nourish counts, I will be turning back and doing another 8x Nourish (4 of each variety) deal with 4×0.70 coupons and 4×0.75 Nourish coupons from rewards for a total OOP of 12.32 and $10 CAT back.

                • sue

nourish is not on price plus sale. only $2.99 will count. your first transaction will be fine at $25.44, but the one with only nourish will only total $23.92.

                  • Harry

thanks, will add a cereal or poptart to the second one.

                • barbara

the nourish is not working .. Read through the posts here.. there are a few things not working Some items are not programmed in . and are not working of the Catalinas..

                  • Harry

yes I saw Denise post and above is after taking that into account – what I meant is that enough people should have complained by now for them to fix it hopefully by this evening….and the deal is a MM anyways even without the Nourish working.

                • sue

if the 75 cent coupon that you intend to use on the nourish is the same one that you plan to use on the raisin bran, then the 5th one will not double

                  • Harry

not the same. The Kelloggs rewards points give a 0.75 for any 1 Kellogs cereal (500 points) which I used on the raisin brans. A “special” code from the Special K Multi Grain cereal from last time (says save $6 on the box) gives another 0.75 off 1 Nourish coupon which is specifically for the Nourish. So they are different coupons.

I did do this deal (only the first one) just now and only one $5 printed. I did not even go to CS because my total OOP was 0.26 cents (used a $5 CAT from last time). I know what CS would say to that. Instead submitted the ticket to Catalina Marketing which was very easy to do online with the receipt number. Hopefully they will send out a second $5, but even otherwise, its a good 2.46 MM.

                    • sue

did not know about the special code coupons – other than $15 mentioned which apparently includes smuckers products. thanks for the info!

good luck with catalina marketing – let us all know what they say/do about it. :)

                    • Harry

6 coupons in all from the email that comes after entering the code. Only the Nourish coupon is off of a single item -the rest for shakes, waffles, etc are wyb 2, so not as interesting.

                    • Harry

Just as an FYI, I got the $5 from Catalina Marketing today in the mail!! So next time CAT does not print no more haggling with SR CS…just use the Catalina Marketing website to give your receipt number and they will find out and send you the CAT in the mail. Just for good measure they sent a second $5 CAT too!

      • COLIN

Denise, I think I know why people who buy the Nourish are not getting the Catalina. I think it is because they are basing the initial price of the item on the shelf price and not the sale price for this particular item. Although the shelf price is $3.49 its’ sale price is $2.99. In addition, if you look at the circular, it only states a flat $2.99 — there is no price plus symbol used to denote the higher shelf price and the savings one gets. Therefore, the store counts this item as only $2.99 and not at $3.49. On the other hand, the Fruit Loops, to use as an example, are on sale $1.88, but they have a shelf price of $3.39. In the ad, there is the price plus symbol for this cereal and therefore, one can use the Shelf price for this item when calculating your amount. I noticed this quirk on a Special K run I did this afternoon. I was thinking of buying the Special K Multigrain cereal that has a shelf price of $4.19, but is on sale for $2.99. Both the shelf ticket and the scanner read this item only at the sale price of $2.99, and consequently, only this price should be used in one’s calculations. So too, the Smuckers Natural Raspberry spread has a shelf price of $4.19, but the sales ticket on the shelf and the scanner only read this item at a flat $2.99 and therefore, this price is the one used when doing one’s threshold calculations. Forgive me if you knew this already, but I think this might be what is throwing some people off. Although the item may be on price-plus sale when looking at the ShopRite at home website and have a higher shelf price, they only use the sale price for those items that are not so designated on a price-plus sale in their Circular! Therefore, items not so designated as price plus in the circular go by the actual sale price of the item and one’s calculations must take this into account. HTH Colin

  • encoo

According to the ad, the DiGiorno Pizza on sale for $4.47 is specific to 10.6 to 11.9 oz, Thin & Crispy Spinach & Garlic, Tomato & Mozz or Pepperoni & Peppers. The B1G1 Free Coupon is for 26 to 33 oz. :(

  • Lori

I can’t find the Melt ecoupon. Is it NLA? Was it from this week or a previous week? I’m finding that some ecoupons I clip (and see a green circle around them) somehow end up not being clipped later in the week for some odd reason. Thank you!

    • DianeG

The Melt ecpn was new early this morning. It’s probably gone. The bigger challenge will be to find it in the stores, not too many carry it. Most times, you really need to clip before 8 am to get everything that’s available. Even at that time, it can still be slow and crashing multiple times etc…

      • Pinou Sideratos

I didn’t realize until I got to checkout that the ecoupon will only deduct if you buy the honey variety.. I wanted the thick and creamy.. oh well, I had the cashier remove it from my order.. Honey is evil worse than vegetables bleeeecchhhhhh

  • Martha

can’t find the e-coupon for the grape tomatoes…

    • Kari

It’s an older coupon, so if you hadn’t clipped it before it’s probably NLA.

    • IK

      My coupon expired yesterday

  • Harry

Just as an FYI, the kelloggs rewards add up fast. I think I entered points from some 6 to 8 cereal boxes (which were free from last months deal) and got 1000 points (helped that one of them was a Raisin Bran which the points for which double this month). And I was able to redeem the 1000 points immediately for 2×0.75 off any cereal or pop-tart coupon which is a pretty high value coupon given that it doubles to 1.50. Two prints of course for each of the rewards (so 4 0.75 coupons).
Two of the cereal boxes I entered the code from were from the special K multi-grain cereal and it sent me an email with a special link to 6 more coupons (2 prints each) one of which is 0.75 off a single Nourish Hot cereal. All this bring the OOP for this week’s CAT deals close to $5 when buying for $25 and thus a huge MM.

    • Allison

I enter Kellogg’s codes whenever I get them and have decided to stock up on Pop Tarts using the Kellogg’s Catalina deal for this week because my husband takes them for breakfast every morning to eat in the car on his way to work. I redeemed 2,000 of my points for 2 $.75 on 1 Pop Tart coupon (500 points each and I “purchased” 2, which totaled 1,000 points. Each coupon allows you 2 prints) and a $1.50 on 1 Pop Tart coupon (1,000 points and 2 prints). I plan to purchase 6 boxes of Pop Tarts, which totals $15.42 shelf price, $11.28 sale price. After using 4 $.75 coupons which fully double and 2 $1.50 coupons, I will pay $2.28 for 6 boxes of Pop Tarts and will receive a $5 Catalina for spending over $15.00, which means better than free! Great deal if your family eats Pop Tarts a lot and you have the Kelloggs Rewards Points you can redeem!

      • missy

sorry, but 6 pop tarts at pre-price plus of $2.45 each ($1.88 + $0.57) will only total $14.70. you’ll need to adjust something to reach $15.

remember to get at least two different flavors because of the limit 4 per variety, so you don’t lose the sale price. don’t know if your husband is partial to one flavor, or if he’s flexible. ;)

        • Allison

I was going by the shelf price listed on here as $2.57, but have since checked ShopRite From Home and saw that it’s $2.45 at my SR. I have decided to also buy Fruit Loops and use the $.50 coupon. After the Catalina, everything will still be free! Thanks for pointing that out!

          • Harry

If at all possible I think it best to make the $25 which you can reach with some items that are free or near free after coupons than to make the $15 because the payback is much higher with the $10 CAT.

Very unfortunate that the nourish is not working though. For me that was the main item. Hopefully SR will fix it soon and before the C51 offer ends. I have emailed SR CS and if enough people email them they might fix it sooner.

            • Allison

It probably would be a better deal to do it off of the $25, but I do not have Internet access on my cell phone, so I can’t do the Ibotta or C51 offers, so I’m missing out on some of the good deals because of that.

              • Kathy

Allison, you don’t need a cell phone for C51 – you can submit a photo of your receipt through their website. It’s very easy & I always do it that way. HTH!

          • missy

ok, i see the $2.57 is a typo, as they did list $2.45 in the deal ideas. so many numbers! ;)

            • barbara

It depends on where you live my shelf prices and sale prices are higher than what is listed in the deals..

              • missy

yes, but the other numbers she stated showed that she was working with a $1.88 sale price. the problem was a typo in the listings here.

  • karen

Just wondering if the alberto v05 salon series is also on sale making the shampoo for free? thanks!

    • Kari

According to SRFH it’s 1.49 at my store.

      • Denise Davison

There are certain varieties that are clearanced at $0.99, so if you have a $1 coupons those would be free.

  • Binkey19

any luck confirming any of the catalina deals are based on shelf price??

  • Harry

In the past week, there have been no credits for SavingStar items that also had a corresponding SR ECPN (cheerios, lara alt)…hopefully this is only temporary glitch and not a new road-block……

    • shelldigity

I had the same problem with Cheerios — I sent them a message last week but haven’t heard back yet. Also, today I tried to add a couple of SavingStar items that I’d already clipped with SR (Progresso soup, Betty Crocker) and got an error on SavingStar saying I’d already clipped it with another service. That means the Progresso deal won’t work as posted here. I’m annoyed that SavingStar is blocking the clipping because I also shop at Stop & Shop, which doesn’t use Cellfire but does use SavingStar. I had to temporarily remove my SR card from my SavingStar account in order to clip those coupons to use at S&S.

      • Harry

I think its well known (at least in these comment threads) that SavingStar will not work if you clip SR ECPN first and then attempt to clip SavingStar. So folks usually clip SS first, but it wont be possible in every case because sometimes the SR ECPNS come before SS and if you wait they will be gone.

What I was saying above is that even if done in the above (correct) order, this week SavingStar is not crediting for all those items that have SR ECPNs. There were also a few posts about the Cheerios not working in SS couple days back, but now it seems its not just Cheerios, even the Lara Alt did not credit for me while other purchases that did not have a SR ECPN like the baking soda did credit.

        • shelldigity

Ah, I’m somewhat new to SR so today was the first time I saw that error. I must have inadvertently done it in the right order before! I thought it might be related and a sign that you can no longer use both on the same item. It would make sense to me that if they’re capable of knowing you have it elsewhere they wouldn’t honor it.

I did notice the same thing though, items without a SR coupon did credit. Hoping to get a response from them in the next day or so about the Cheerios issue.

          • COLIN

Putting aside the possible issue of the S/R e-coupons and their impact on SS, are paper coupons interfering with SS from your recent experience above?

            • shelldigity

I had no issue with paper coupons combining with either service. The only thing that didn’t work were the two e-coupon services together.

              • COLIN

OK. Maybe it is a glitch, as reported above. I will wait a bit further then.

        • Lesley

I noticed that when I click for additional information about the Cheerios coupon, for example, it says that no other coupon can be used with this offer. I am not sure if it has always said that. I bought Cheerios on Tuesday at SR and Fiber One Protein cereal from Stop and Shop on Thursday….no credit yet. I bought th Arm and Hammer Friday Freebie on Saturday and I DID get credited already.

        • COLIN

Same here, sorry I advised about that deal!

    • DianeG

Harry, As to your first comment, it may be a temporary glitch. Saving Star email came this morning for purchases at ShopRite on Saturday morning. ‘Got $.75 for Betty Crocker in SS (had gotten $.75 on SRecpn and used $.85/2 fully doubled IP). My local SR didn’t have the Cheerios or the lara alt bar) Also, got SS for things that didn’t have a SRecpn – baking soda, red leaf lettuce, etc…

      • COLIN

Thanks, Diane, that is really good to know!

    • shelldigity

Good news — I heard back from Savingstar today. They reviewed my account and determined I should have received the Cheerios deal. They said they’re not sure why it didn’t apply but are applying it to my account manually. So it does appear that this is a temporary glitch. Just send them a message and they should be able to sort it out for you as well.

  • Linda

Anyone have problems printing the Kelloggs coupons? I printed them the other day on one computer and tried my other pc today and I can’t even view the coupons using IE. I tried to use Google Chrome and can view and hit print but after all the prompts, nothing printed. Same thing with Firefox. Any suggestions? TIA.

    • Binkey19

I had problems at first. What I ended up doing was uninstalling my Java program, then went on the kelloggs family rewards page and clicked on the coupon, it prompted my to install the java (which I then did) Once the Java reinstalled I clicked back on the coupon and it worked like a charm! HTH!

      • Linda

Thanks. I got it to work. I should have guessed it was a Java issue…it seems to cause all the printing issues I have.

  • Melanie

Question: Do you guys know where to find the minute rice steamers ?

    • COLIN

Mine were placed in a end cap freezer as a special display in the Frozen section.

Alberto v05 Salon series is on sale for 1.49 at my shoprite… still a good deal at .49 tho!

  • Binkey19

Anyone try the smuckers Catalina?? Is it sale price or shelf?

    • beloved2424

I did it today (Smuckers/ Jif/ Folgers) and it worked on shelf price.

  • Jean Devlin Price

where did you get coupons for the vo5

  • wendy

Did anyone have success with the right guard deodorant? Only one in my store that was .99 is the sport variety which is excluded on my coupon. Thanks!

    • ss

Branchburg had tons by the front door. Grabbed 16 of them to donate.

      • COLIN

That may be so, but Wendy is correct in observing that only the Sport is on sale at my store, as well, and the coupon specifically excludes all types of Sport deodorants. Are you saying that another type was on sale and you were able to use the coupon, or that used the coupon on the Sport varieties, even though specifically excluded?

        • Ss

I already dropped off at church so not sure. I didn’t notice sport was excluded so just grabbed what was in bin and checked out.

          • COLIN

Well, it went for a good cause so I am sure that transaction was blessed!

        • wendy

After looking at right guards website and their catalog of products, all the items I saw on the site were more than .99 at my store except the sport variety. Coupon may be working on the sport even though it says its excluded. I am not willing to try it since I am a stickler for coupon policies. LOL!

  • ss

QPLES coupons just put out a .75/2 Cheez Doodles . They’re on sale for $1.99

  • Dawn Nicole

Did anyone try using the Soft n Dri coupon yet? If so, did it double? I’ve been having luck at SR lately with coupons doubling that say DND! TIA!

    • ss

I read earlier that it did in fact double somewhere in this post :)

      • Dawn Nicole

Thanks so much SS. I scrolled thru the comments and didn’t see it. Thanks again!

        • marie

did you try control-f to search the page?

          • Dawn Nicole

I didn’t. Great tip, I will make sure to use that from now on. Thank you

    • ss

Dawn, I just tried it and it did not scan at all! They did key it through manually as a double in error :)

Hey dawn, I used t on Sunday and it didn’t scan so they typed it in manually and it doubled.

  • Kari

Has anyone purchased the Kelloggs Special K Crisp Bars?

  • Rachael

I did the kelloggs, smuckers, nivea and treseme deals.

The kellogs printed a $3 cat but I purchased 4 special k nourish, 2 fruit loops and 2 corn flakes which should have been a $10 cat.

Also, my nivea and tresemme cats did not print.

I went to CS and they issued the catalinas that didn’t print, fixed the kelloggs catalina and let me keep the $3 one that it printed in error!

Question…the gold catalina’s say “Limit one coupon per transaction”. Just to double check…does that mean that next week when I go to use them I can only use 1 at a time? They specify “kelloggs” or “proctor & gamble” or “smuckers”. So that’s 1 of each manufacturer’s catalina? If so, that is slightly annoying because it didn’t print 1 $10 catalina but instead 2 $5 cats.

    • lana

it has been said here that the tresemme is not printing, the special k nourish hot cereal is not counting for the kelloggs deal, and berry swirl nivea is not working for that deal.
could you share what you bought for the smuckers deal?

      • rachael

I read all of the comment so I knew there were issues. I just wanted to let everyone know that there has not been a change ;)

I bought 3 folgers gourmet selections kcups, 2 jif PB and 1 smuckers jelly (the smaller size).

I had 3 folgers $1 off manufacturer’s coupons, $3 folgers ecoup off 3 packs, $1 jiff/smuckers ecoup, $1 off 2 jif and $1 off smuckers (the last 2 from the kellogs rewards save $15 in coupons offer)

        • barbara

          did this work

          • Jennifer

I bought (4) Jiff PB and (1) Folgers gourmet selections bag and received the $5 Catalina.

      • bilinval

Berry swirl worked for me. My Kellogg deal did not work though. I did not buy the Nourish either. They gave me a hard time but eventually gave me the second $5 cat.

        • lana

the nivea thread is full of reports that berry did not work. is that the only variety you bought? maybe it has been fixed.

what did you buy for kelloggs?

          • debbie

I bought 2 berry tonight before i saw this and my cat did not print :( my first tranaction without the berry did print. i also bought 4 poptarts and 2 fruit loops and only got a 5.00 catalina. Wasn’t i suspose to get the 10?

            • casey

              4 pop tarts $2.45×4=$9.80
              2 froot loops $3.39×2=$6.78
              total $16.58
              gets $5 catalina

          • bilinval

I bought 2 mint, 2 berry, and 2 green (olive oil??). Got my $3 cat.
Kelloggs- 3 cereal, 2 pop tarts, 2 mini wheats, Simply Made cookies. Total was $25.04 ( cookies were only $2.99 -thought they were higher) but still came in over the $25.

            • lana

              what variety of cereal?
the kellogg’s cereal and kellogg’s snacks (as designated in the ad) are both “save up to” – which means not all cereals are $3.39, and not all snacks are $3.29 – such as the cookies were not.

              • bilinval

On my receipt, my total was $25.04. Maybe the cookies are a problem like the Nourish. At least they gave me the additional $5, so can’t complain too much. Thanks.

        • COLIN

Hmm.. Could you be more specific? We know that you did not buy Nourish so that was not what hung up your Kellogg’s deal. But perhaps you could state what you did buy that might have contributed to that snafu?

    • Sandy

My Tressemme didn’t print either but cs gave me the $2 cat and I used it immed for my next transaction.

    • casey

the pre-price plus on kelloggs cereals is “up to” $3.39. the ad says “save up to $1.51″. the froot loops are $3.39, but the corn flakes are only $3.09. even if nourish had counted, your transaction would only have totaled $24.92.

  • Nicole LaFrance

be on the lookout! found some great freebies/cheapies! Reach Phineas and Ferb 2 pack toothbrushes were $1.99 used the $2/1 reach multi-pack Q for free! axe shave gel was $2.24 used the $2/1 for .24, and found the mushroom progresso recipe starter in the can (looks like they are doing a repackage) was .69 making them free also with the .50/1 Q. do you think the new coupon that shows the new packaging will work on these?

    • Nicole LaFrance

And FYI, i just went through my wallet and i didnt notice yesterday but i got a store coupon catalina for $2.50 off bic razors courtesy of Axe! I still have my bic e-coupon so yay for that!

    • http://Saraskinny.blogspot.com Sara

Where is the reach coupon from?

      • Nicole LaFrance

        SS 1/26

    • Pinou Sideratos

if you buy 2 axe products you get 2.50 off your next bic purchase (I guess it prints at checkout)

    • Kathy

Hi Nicole! Could you tell me where you found the Progresso Recipe Starters, please? I’ve looked with soups and with sauces and had no luck in both places. Thanks!

      • Nicole LaFrance

I had trouble too! They new pouch ones were near the hamburger helper but we’re regular price. But I found stacks of the cans in the aisle where they put all the sale items they are featuring and need a lot of stock. At my store it’s the paper goods aisle. Also I was able to use shoprite from home to see that my store carried these and that they were this price. Hth

  • April

Bought 2 V8 Freshers – no Catalina, bought 2 tresseme heat products, no catalina – I didn’t see these specific items on the SR catalina list. Should I expect these or no?

    • Denise Davison

hm Im not sure why the V8 Catalina did not print, was the Catalina Machine working? The Tresemme people have reported having problems with, and if you go to CS they will print it for you!

  • Amy

I’ve noticed that my Shoprite e-coupons didn’t come off on my last transaction. Any idea why? Suggestions?

    • Denise Davison

What ecoupons did you have trouble with?

      • Amy

$1 off two Kellogg’s cereals(corn pops, etc) and $1 off Suave Professional Shampoo. I noticed the afrin nasal spray didn’t come off last week either.

        • Kari

My Afrin did not come off last week either, I think it was coded pretty specifically because even my paper coupon did not scan appropriately!

    • kabbysteve

Are you scanning your Shoprite card? or giving your telephone #? I gave my telephone # and NO ecoupons came off….some have mentioned this as well.

      • Amy

Yes, I scanned my card both times.

  • Stephanie Shock

Does anyone know if you can mix and match the Colgate optic white 3/5.98 deal, getting two toothpastes and a mouthwash?

  • Kari

Has anyone used their Cats yet? I’m curious about the “one per transaction” printed on them. I was gonna roll today but that would definitely affect how I did it! (Erg, that is not grammatically correct, but can’t figure out the tense issue, too early.)

Off topic – everyone else preparing for Snowmageddon again on the East Coast with me? :)

    • ellie

are they store coupons, or manufacturer’s?

    • Dipty Joshi

I tried using both cats from ‘go for gold’ and was told that I could use only one per transaction. So had to do two transaction for minimum OOP. HTH
I am dreading for the ‘Snowgeddon’… No more salt, shovels or snow blowers in our local Home Depot, Lowes, SR, Target… Hope for the best and be prepared for the worst!

      • Kathy

Ugh, that’s a bummer Dipty….I hate it when they do that – if we’ve earned them, we should be able to use them however we please!

I’m all set for whatever Mother Nature has coming…..batteries in flashlights/lanterns have all been checked and put out, BBQ is on my covered front porch, Coleman stove is out and set-up with my Coleman full-size Coffee maker (God I love that thing!) & canned foods next to it & several 5 gallon water bottles have been filled and “strategically” placed around the house :-)….I figure I’ve yet to lose power from the last couple of storms so best to be prepared. Besides, Murphy’s Law dictates that if I do go through the bother of preparing all that stuff….then I will NOT lose power ;-) Stay safe everyone!

    • Rachael

I was worried about this issue too. I ran out today to get some more fun things to cook as my work is already closing for tomorrow’s storm (yay!). I asked my cashier and she said she would try them to see if they would work together.

At first I used one from kellogs and one from smuckers and it worked so I handed her another $5 from kellogs and it went through.

I ended up using $10 from kellogs $5 from smuckers and the $3 from nivea all together.

      • Kari

Thanks for reporting back, seems like it’s going to be YMMV on this one.

  • Sandy

Few things: Speed stick (limited varieties) still on sale .99 so with $1 cpn – Free
Glade Plugins Scented Oil Cust. starter kit ($4.49)- -$3 mfg. does not scan nor does $2 ecoupon come off (cs fixed all that for me)
Bought 4 Fruit Loops and 5 P.B. Pop Tarts ($16.92 sale) – $9 coupons and got back 2 $5 Cats and $1 ecoupon Kelloggs so $3.08 MM

  • kabbysteve

    I purchased 2 Kellogg Raisin Bran, 2 Froot Loops, 1 Cocoa Krispies, 1 Corn Pops, 2 Kashi Vineyard Raisin…received 2 $5 catalinas.

    • savinmommie

I did the kellogs deal (4 PB pop tarts, 4 fruit loops, and 1 organic promise kashi cereal) and got 2 $5 cats. I also did the smuckers deal (2 Jiff and 4 folgers gourmet ground coffee) and got 2 $5 cats. I attempted the powerade deal (4 powerade zeros, 2 minute maids and a zico) but it did not print the $3 cat (for spending 10). CS gave the cat after I showed them that I got the other cats based on pre-sale prices. My store was out of alot of items include all nivea.

      • katy

i think the minute maid may be a problem. i received a $5 instead of a $10 on a purchase including minute maid, and at least one other person mentioned minute maid in a transaction that did not work out as planned.

        • Dipty Joshi

I had a problem with the Powerade deal too. As usual CS said that was because I used coupons. I had to keep my calm and show them that I received other cats based on pre-sale price and with coupons. FInally they gave me $3 cat. I purchased 4 powerades, 2 minute maids, and 1 core power.

          • anne88e

I also had the problem with minute maid. The SR flyer has a picture of minute maid carton and says FROM CONCENTRATED for $1.99, but when I checked the Go for Gold SR list of products the picture is a minute maid plastic bottle and the discription reads:minute maid freshly squeezed . So I went to minute maid website and saw minute maid freshly squeezed is NOT FROM concentrated. So the flyer specifies the MM oj From concentrated (box only), but the Go for Gold list specifies the MM oj Not From concentrated(plastic bottle).
As a customer just looking at the flyer it should be eligible. It seems they forgot to put it in system or something

      • kabbysteve

The powerade deal you are short by .02 cents…your total only hits 9.98(before coupons)…that is why it probably did not trigger the catalina.

        • katy

you are right about the 2 cent shortage with a zico, but dipty says below that the deal also did not work with a core power, which would have been over $10. i still think there is an issue with the minute maid not counting, like the nourish does not count for kellogg’s.

  • katy

the jif and smuckers ecoupon came off with a purchase of only smuckers, more than 2 jars. don’t know if it comes off with only 2 or more jif as well, but the combined purchase is unnecessary.

    • beloved2424

It comes off with the purchase of only 2 jif :)

      • COLIN

Thanks and as I suspected. The language used is quite ambiguous almost to the point of being unintelligible, but the terms that appear under the clipped coupon on your shopping list seem to indicate that only 2 of either item, and probably a mix and match would do the trick.

  • cheryl

just noticed that the yoplait and nature valley ecoupons are available again – and they loaded!! :)

    • Kathy

I have them too but they won’t load and I still can’t load some of the others either and I’m not at my limit. Each weeks seems to be more problematic than the last….

      • cheryl

remember that the go for gold ecoupons are not in the tally, but do count toward the 88 – for some reason the total never includes the separate banner ecoupons

        • Kathy

I didn’t know that so thank you. I checked though and it says I have 76 clipped and I could only clip 10 of the gold offers so I should have 2 spots open but nothing else works…

          • kabbysteve

Did you count how many are actually loaded on the “view shopping list”? Not the opening page that states you have “so many loaded”

            • Kathy

It’s weird, when I typed my previous message it said I had 76 clipped and then I added the 10 Gold offers to arrive at my total of 86. I logged off my account & signed back in. It now shows I have 73 offers clipped, plus the 10 Gold offers so actually I should have 5 spots open. I did as you suggested and counted them as they appear on the “view shopping list” page and the total also comes to 83. Not sure why it wasn’t accurate the first time (unless something dropped because it expired?) but the results on the opening page seem to be accurate, except for the fact that they do not add the offers from special sections….

Since I logged off, I tried to clip again. The Yoplait & Nature Valley probably don’t work because they were already clipped on SS but that doesn’t explain not being able to clip any other Gold offers. Oh well, thanks for your suggestions. I’ll just try again in a day or two and see if that makes a difference.

              • cheryl

did you just shop yesterday or today and use a few ecoupons? they take a little while to come off. the ones i used today still show as loaded, but later today or tomorrow they should be off the list.

can’t explain why you can’t load any more, unless you loaded some on cellfire. it is not because of s*. i have nature valley and yoplait on s* and was able to load them on shoprite.

                • Kathy

That’s another good idea but no, I haven’t been to ShopRite yet this week and I don’t routinely check CF either. I’ll try to load some again on Sunday when they renew & if I still have problems I’m going to contact them – thanks!

              • ruth anne

interesting that you rig up the number 73…..I also had 73 coupons and could not add 3 I really wanted. After 3 days of trying I called SR. I even gave my codes to the rep so she could see what I was seeing….and she did. But she went to my shopping list and counted 88 coupons! I was told that was the best way to keep track )-: No idea why the totals did not match up….she would be passing this problem up the line…because she verified that I was seeing the 73 # she is sending me a $5 SR gift card.

  • rose

This razor is normally $11.49 at shoprite. It is on special value for $4.74 so with the four dollar coupons from the 2/9 RP it comes to only.74 cents. Happy shopping!

  • tiff

Do you have to do seprate transactions to get more then one catalina per order? for example if i wanted to do the nivea balm deal and the kashi cereal deal can i do themboth in one transaction and receive the cat for both?

    • Christina D.

When it’s different deals, no, you don’t need to do separate transactions to get both cats.

      • tiff

        Thanks Christina !

  • http://livingrichwithcoupons.com/ Cindy Livesey

I know some of you have asked for some kind of coupon exchange/swap are on the site over the years and I’ve been recently thinking about how we can implement it. I thought, well why don’t I ask you guys what your ideas are so I can take it to our developer and we can figure something out.

So, what are some features that you would like to see. Do you just want a forum like section to chat about exchanges? Do you want want to be able to submit a list of coupons you have or want and that others can see? Let me know your thoughts and we can see what we can come up with.

    • kabbysteve

I think maybe a facebook group…I would prefer it not to be on this site(do not yell at me)..but I am thinking all those comments would be included on the “recent comments” section and I love to go to “recent comments” and would hate to have to wade though all those trade requests. That being said, I would not mind a section here if it could stay out of the “recent comment” section. Good luck!

      • Sandy

I agree in the sense that I do not want to see it in “recent comments” either as you would miss too much of the everyday normal comments that we regularly search. Would have to be under a separate tab/forum but not a fan of having to go to FB to utilize it. BUT love the idea overall. Wondering if there can be a way to sign up with your location in mind (zip code) so as to trade locally in person and/or mail. Would save time and postage.

    • Ad

As you said, would be nice a forum , whoever need Qs just post what they need, if someone is willing to send, just contact the other person and work it out from there…. THANKS CINDY !!!!!

      • Harry

One question that comes to mind is this: Is it legal to scan and email a printed coupon if the one who printed it is not going to use it and destroys it after sending the email to another person? It would be very easy to exchange unused coupons if this was legal given that most people have limited number of computers but will need more prints of certain coupons. (If its not legal and if we do have such a forum I think that should be made clear in the forum rules) I am guessing there will be lot of speculation to answer this question, but would be nice to get an official response from the coupon providers like coupons dot com, redplum and smartsource.

  • nathan

can anyone of you find newmans own pasta sauce coupons?is it availabl to print?

    • Kathy

I believe it is no longer available to print.

  • Kari

Ugh, I’m so bummed that the snow is totally impacting my shopping week!

    • Kathy

Me too and I have Cats that expire on Saturday!

      • Dipty Joshi

i am beyond bummed… 4 of my “Shop Rite Store free coupons’ are expiring 2/14. I have free coupons for iceberg lettuce, Hot Stuff bakery product, SR bakery product and SR eggs. If I can’t go out because of snow, I will miss on those items..Arrgh

        • Melinda Dilione

If you call your store they might still honor the coupons because of the storm. Can’t hurt to ask :) Sometimes they will still accept expired coupons in situations like this.

          • Dipty Joshi

I checked with my store and they said they will honor the store coupons for a week. I am so glad and thankful to you and Dawn for recommending to check with SR.

        • Dawn Nicole

Many Shoprites closed early yesterday because of the storm also, so they shouldn’t give you a hard time honoring it .

        • John

Where did you get those coupons from?

          • Dipty Joshi

These are the SR store coupons that print from the catalina machine. Not sure how they determine who gets what coupons. I am a vegetarian and have never purchased meat, yet the catalina machine gives me meat coupons! I ask the person behind me and give them or leave them in the bagging area. HTH

  • kabbysteve

You want to be careful WHO you give your printables to…the person you send it to can copy numerous copies of the one you printed and when discovered, your computer is the one that will be locked out of having the privilege to print ANY coupons from that site again. Good luck

    • Harry

which leads to another interesting question/suggestion: (maybe asking for too much to have this at startup, but maybe sometime later) – should the proposed forum should have some trust indicator for the people exchanging the coupons (even the paper ones): like a points or feedback system that would make the people exchanging confident that the other person can be trusted.

  • Sandy

I would prohibit the trading of printable coupons and only promote the exchange/trade of coupons found in papers, magazines etc. to alleviate any problems. I did a bit of research on the web and this seems to be where the problems may lie so ban it from the get go.

  • John

Last week, the lady in front of me in line got a bunch of coupons from the Catalina machine that apparently she didn’t like because she put them in the bagging area and left. I picked them up when I did my bagging.

They are coupons that have “My Shoprite” written in a red circle on the left side. I’ve seen others use these before. How do people get them? I never get these when I shop.

Anyway, these are the coupons that I got.
$1 off any household cleaning purchase of $3.99 or more
$1 off any orange juice purchase of $2.99 or more
$1 off any cheese or deli platter purchase

How do these normally work? Are they on pre-sale prices? Can I purchase 4 FAB detergents and use the cleaning coupon? Can I purchase the Tropicana on sale for $2.50 and use the juice coupon?

    • ss

You can use these in conjunction with mfg. coupons, sale & non-sale items . As my cashier tells me “these are very forgiving coupons” you don’t even have to buy the said product or reach the $$ amount for these to work. My cashier who I frequent grabs them from the Cat machine and scans them on my order! I’m not sure how they determine who gets them – guess it’s based on your prior purchases.

      • diana

when scanned at self-check, these coupons call for the cashier to check that you bought the product in the correct dollar amount. they do not simply scan and deduct. the register says it requires a “price prompt”, and it is up to the cashier to approve it.

  • Diane Sanderson

I did the Smuckers/ Folgers deal today. I saw that there was a problem with the Catalinas and I really neededK cups so I went for the price after coupons. I purchased 5 Folgers Gourmet Selection K CUPs

    Total 34.95
    Coupons – 3.50 ( 3 1.00 an 1 .50)
    sr electronic – 3.00 ( it took off 3.00)?
    Checkout51 – .50
    Catalinas – 10.00
    ____________________________

    Total 34.95-17.00= 17.95 0r 3.59 each which is less than .30 a KCUP

    • Diane Sanderson

I probably could have purchased only 4 and had a better price per cup

      • COLIN

If anyone is still planning to do the Folger’s deal and still have their Smuckers/Jiff and Folger’s e-coupons, depending whether or not you have print coupons in addition to the e-coupons, you may want to scale back your purchase as suggested above as it may be less expensive on a price per item, to only shoot for the $5.00 Catalina when puchasing $15.00 worth of shelf items. I re-ran the numbers for me and I should have done the latter. Not a big deal, but I now have a tremendous amount of coffee! By the way, my Catalinas printed normally.

  • Harry

If somone still waiting to do the Kelloggs CAT, here is one that worked for me and was a $6 MM and still valid for Saturday.
Paid 0.60 OOP including an apple that was 0.61 and used a $5 CAT from previous day. Got 2x$5 CATs, $1 thru ck51 for the 2xCorn Pops.
    1x Kelloggs corn flakes
    1x Kashi Organic Raisin Cereal
    2x Kelloggs Corn Puffs cereal
1x Special K Choc Almond (includes $6 Coupons for next week)
1x Special K Oats & Honey (includes $6 Coupons for next week)
    2x Kelloggs ToGo Biscuits

    • COLIN

Harry, fantastic job! Where did you find the Special K biscuits? I’ve been looking all over my store and can’t seem to find them!

      • Harry

there were in the aisle with crackers and other other biscuits in my SR – not the breakfast/cereal aisle where I too was initially thinking they might be. I think they are new products – so not all SR may have them in the same location.

        • COLIN

Thanks, I just did a search on Kellogs’ site and as I suspected, it shows that my S/R does not stock them because I could not find them in those alternative aisles.

    • http://livingrichwithcoupons.com/ Cindy Livesey

Nice! Thanks for sharing that Harry!

    • Dipty Joshi

Harry, thats awesome….On a side note, can I do the Kelloggs deal more than once? I already have done it once (spend $25/ get 10). Thanks

      • Harry

yes,I do not believe there is a limit to SR CAT deals unless stated explicitly- but you just have to be sure not to do more than one in a single transaction. this my second kelloggs deal of the week and third GoldSavings deal (I got several coupons from the boxes in the first Kelloggs deal that I used in the second one above). If not for the snow I would not have time to think through and do all of these deals this week – so I can thank the snow for something :)

        • Dipty Joshi

          Thank you…

  • Ad

Well, i was thinking about the inserts Qs, wich i can get a couple of them and be able to share with others, but printables is just a few since i print them from pc and apple devices so i wouldn’t ship my IPs…. Just aware everybody if they ship IPs they could get in trouble
