where do i find this? is this frozen or is it on the regular shelves?

    • Melinda Dilione

This isn’t a frozen product, so on the regular shelves. Can’t recall what exact aisle it’s in but definitely not frozen.

      • Amy Mace

It’s in the boxed potato aisle as Sandy noted. But most of my local stores stay out of stock on these.

    • Sandy

By the BC potato buds & Idahoan products

      • Ella

        Thanks everyone. I found them.

Just as an FYI, these are VERY tiny boxes. They look like about a cup size. So if you are buying for a family, you need AT LEAST 2 boxes.

    • Rocky

Yes, they look like little school-sized milk cartons! And, if you are making two cartons, I would suggest you make them in two large skillets, otherwise, you can’t get them as crispy!

      • chefpat

Good suggestion Rocky, if you are making two cartons you would easily have enough for six to eight people.

    • Chefpat

They actually are not really tiny, they are in a carton the same size as a pint of Half and half and when water is added to them to reconstitute, they plump up.
When you put them in a pan to fry, they easily make three good sized portions.
Not to mention, they are shredded potatoes ready to cook and save a whole lot of potato peeling and shredding.

these are so good. i usually add a bag of the birds eye recipe ready onions & peppers to it & they are just as good as hashbrowns you get at the diner. :o)

    • La Reina

i totally have the recipe ready onion and peppers in my freezer!!! thanks for the suggestion :)
