Saturday 11/29/14:

57th Annual Model Railroad Show

Cost:  $5 for adults, Free for children under 12, must be accompanied by an adult
Description:  We have a 30 x 40 foot operating HO railroad layout with all kinds of trains, including our Santa Claus train and Thomas the Tank Engine. There is something for everyone: Passenger, freight, steam, diesel.

Author Signing And Story Time

Cost:  FREE
Description: The Town Book Store in Westfield will be hosting a Meet & Greet and story time with Paul Czajak, author of the children’s book, Monster Needs a Christmas Tree on Small Business Saturday, November 29, 2014 from 10:30-12 PM. It’s almost Christmastime, and Monster needs a tree. But the holidays are filled with joy and so many fun things to do! After snowballs, sleds, and Santa Claus, will he find a tree in time? In this festive, rhyming story, Monster shows young readers that with a little creativity, a tree can be perfect any way you look at it. Paul Czajak got an ‘F’ with the words “get a tutor” written on his college writing paper and after that, never thought he’d become a writer. But after spending twenty years as a chemist, he knew his creativity could no longer be contained. He is the author of many books including several others in the “Monster & Me” series. He lives in Danvers, MA.. Meet Paul for a story time at The Town Book Store located at 270 East Broad Street in Westfield (corner of East Broad and Elmer Streets).

Festival Of Trees

Cost:  $6 for adults, free/under 6 yrs
Description:  Come to where the treetops glisten! Morven’s annual Festival of Trees has become a must-see Princeton holiday tradition. Visitors enjoy the museum’s elegant galleries decorated for the holidays and adorned with trees artfully decorated by local businesses, garden clubs, and non-profit organizations.

Country Christmas With Santa

Cost:   FREE
Description:  Come on over to Santa’s Country Corner! He will be visiting us at the farm and would love to take a photo with you – so make sure you bring your camera! Enjoy Christmas music and a cozy campfire too! Available for purchase: s’mores kits, hot cider, hot chocolate, donuts, and more.
