Cindy’s CVS Shopping Trip
My trip to CVS this week revolved around the Brawny Paper Towel deal. Believe it or not, my stock of paper towels is getting really low. Unfortunately, I had missed some previous deals at ShopRite and even CVS so I was determined to score this deal this week before I had no paper towels left.
There were a few things in my favor this week to help make the deal even better. I had received a $4 off $20 CVS coupon from a mailer, the Scope deal was going to be a nice money maker which would go towards the paper towels and I had a bunch of ECBs to use including a $10 ECB for Beauty Rewards. Those beauty rewards, to me, are like bonus money so I was happy to use it on this deal.
In the end, this ended up costing me just $3.34 which saved me over $35. And, now, I have 24 rolls of paper towels in my stockpile which will keep me until the next awesome deal. And, now that my price point is lower on paper towels, I have time to be picky on which deal I score. Ah, the power of the stockpile. As I always say…
