New 25c any cookie offer on Ibotta this morning. I was able to redeem it for the $1 Nabisco I bought at CVS, but should also work with the free Teddy Grahams at SR (unless they’re not considered cookies). I actually had 2 of the same offer and was able to redeem it twice (I had bought 2 containers at CVS).

    • America Jones

I didn’t get this one this time. When I had it before I was able to use it on Keebler iced animal cookies from Dollar Tree, so odds are pretty good that the Teddy Grahams should work.

  • Rocky

Another Big Brand Bash week, so, not too exciting for me…

    • Barbara

not fantastic. But a few sweet little deals. I was hoping for Purex. But nope. more Yellow tide.

      • Rocky

Yep, you guys come up with fun stuff for us, no matter what!!!

      • MisterBill

        Is that like yellow snow?

  • Rocky

Thomas Swirl Bread $1.99 with BBB (Big Brand Bash) EQ (electronic coupon). There was a Regional $.75/1 in the 12/11 SS, and, another Regional (?) $.75/1 due out in the 2/12 SS, making it 49c.

  • Rocky

Welch’s 100% Grape Juice 2/$3.98 with EQ and there was a $1/1 in the 2/5 RP, making them 99c each, wyb 2.

  • Rocky

Pepperidge Farm Cookies $1.88, or $1.49 with the EQ.

  • Rocky

Aunt Jemima Waffles/Pancakes 2/$3 with EQ and there was a $1/2 in the 1/8 SS, making them 2/$2.

  • Rocky

Country Crock Spread, 45 oz. $2.99 with EQ, and there was a $.50/1 and a $.75/1 Regional in the 1/29 RP.

  • Rocky

Skippy Peanut Butter $1.33 with the EQ. SR Instant Oatmeal $1.25, or 99c after the EQ.

  • Ellen Lightfoot

Can anyone read how much you have to spend on the cleaners to get the five dollars off on your next order for the cleaners? .99cents is good on some of the cleaners without the cat

    • America Jones

      Looks like $20.

      • Ellen Lightfoot

ty .99 cent deals with lysol qs

  • America Jones

    YAY!! Annie’s deal is back!

  • Lesley

Horizon mac and cheese is $1 ($0.88 after ecoupon). I still have two IP coupons for the mac and cheese. I think they are for $0.55.

  • Lesley

Avocados $0.99 and broccoli $0.99/lb. Also, Silk milk will be 2/$6. There is an insert coupon for $2 off 2 and a digital coupon for the same. So, 2 milks for $2. The ad advertises a digital coupon for $1 off 2, but I am hoping my $2 off 2 will come off.

  • Lesley

Tetley Super Tea is $2.49 ($1.74 after digital coupon). I have received a catalina coupon for this tea (I forget the dollar amount). Plus, there is an Ibotta for this tea as well. Hopefully it will still be good next week.

    • Bunch

I got the same cat coupon and mine was for $1.50. Nice deal to try something new.

      • tammy

got one also, for $1, and it is actually for any tetley tea, but advertises the super tea. there is $1/1 any tetley in 1/29 ss as well.

  • Tanya

Is Maryland the only Shoprite’s changing the sale dates?? Our Ad runs 2/10-2/16 starting this week!!!

    • jj

yes, only maryland… at least, so far…

    • sandyk

I hope it’s just a test and they don’t change it for the rest of us.

      • Jim

I would not hold your breath. I would think they will all eventually change.

  • Ronnie

Heads up, Mambo Sprouts & Lozo have Dr. Praeger’s Q’s, the Dr. Praeger’s gluten free, fish fillets are on sale for $2.99, Q is for $1 off any product 🙂

  • MisterBill

My ad has Thomas’ English Muffins 6 pack for 99c on the cover. That’s a great price, and even better than the outlet store (which is 3 for $4 and not bad if they have 12 packs but has usually only had the 6 packs recently).

Also, hopefully we’ll get a matching $1.50 e-coupon for Nutella to make it free.

My Brownie Brittle Ibotta offers are $1/1, so $1 each. I searched Google for a coupon, got excited when their website had a coupon request page, only to be disappointed when it told me “You should receive your coupons in the mail within the next 2-8 weeks” after I submitted my info.

    • Jennifer McGuire

My eldest is utterly hooked on Nutella. If I didn’t insist on buying only on sale, I’d go bankrupt.

      • America Jones

Aldi has their brand of Nutella. Might be worth a shot if you are buying quite a bit. =) Haven’t priced it lately, but I can check next time I stop by.

  • MisterBill

Since I suspect most people here don’t bother with the Acme thread, I wanted to mention that they have some decent deals starting Friday. Asparagus is $1.29/lb, a 3 pack of romaine hearts is $1.88 Friday-Monday, and Progresso soup (Traditional or Rich & Hearty) is $1. It seems like the $2/4 printable is gone but the matching Acme e-coupon is still available and since they don’t stack paper and e-coupons, it’s the same as using paper. You should get $3 in S* when buying 4, so $1 MM.

    • Rocky

      Thank you!

    • Rocky

Good timing because I was very tempted to buy Asparagus at SR on Saturday for $3.99/lb. Glad I held out. And, I need more of the R&H soup since I wasn’t able to do a second deal of the 88c ones at SR a few weeks ago! I’ve been zoning out the last few days because of stuff going on at home this week, so, appreciate you pointing these out! I’ll make a point of checking out the full ad on Thursday, now!

      • Ellen Lightfoot

Geez I’ve got Asparagus in my freezer I forgot about when it was $1.99 goes well with ham and tators

        • Rocky

          Hmmm, sounds good!!!

      • MisterBill

I got the asparagus and romaine at Acme today and both looked pretty good. They don’t sit the asparagus on a moist mat or in paper as most places do, but fortunately they were still in good condition. The asparagus weren’t quite as thin as I like them, but for $1.29 a pound I’m not that picky (although I wouldn’t have bought them if they were really thick).

        • Rocky

Oh, good, thanks for the feedback! I think I won’t get there before Tue., but I am hoping they still have some good ones, left!

        • Aron

next week shop rite has asparagus for $1.99

      • Aron

next week asparagus is $1.99 at shop rite

        • Rocky

Oh, very good! Thanks for the heads-up!!!

    • Jenna

Thank you MisterBill! I missed the most recent SR sales on Progresso and as you mentioned, would never have thought to check the Acme thread.

  • Eddie Glacken

I’m holding out hope for more cerave soap bars one day! <3

    • Eggs

I need some too! I have such dry winter skin Cerave is my favorite brand of soap bars, cleanser, and facial moisturizer.

  • Rocky

Betty Crocker coupons are up. Totino’s Pizza Rolls $.75/1, Old El Paso Refried Beans $.50/1, Fiber One Cheesecake Bars $.75/1.

  • Rocky

DulcoEase 25 ct. is showing as $4.99 in my srfh and, for those who haven’t used it, yet (but already clipped it), the $5/1 SR ecoupon doesn’t expire until March. Also, there is a $3/1 on coupons dot com. Nice mm!

    • Bruce

      Unfortunatly its NLA to clip

      • Rocky

Yeah, it’s been around a long time. Many folks have probably used it, anyway, because there have been lots of good deals the last few weeks. And, a value like that hits it’s clip limit shortly after it becomes available.

      • MisterBill

New $3 e-coupon for Dulcolax available right now.

    • MisterBill

I found that I had a $4 IP for DulcoEase today. Tried to use it at Target on Dulcolax (the coupon is coded for both) but the cashier claimed it did not work. I’ll just use it at SR with the e-coupon.

  • Jennifer McGuire

My SR has Pepperidge Farm Milanos for $1.88, and an e-coupon making them $1.49. This is sorely testing my no-spend February plans (dairy, produce, pets, and freebies only this month).

    • Laura D.

Use a money maker to get it for free!

      • Jennifer McGuire

        LOL – my favorite trick!

    • Barbara

LOL i am a sucker for Chessman myself.

      • Ellen Lightfoot

        What is a Chessman?

        • mia

pepperidge farm chessmen are butter cookies

  • anon

Does anyone know if Bush’s Chic peas are on sale this week(2/12)? tia

    • Kari

According to my SRFH (in MD, new ad has already started) they’re $1.09

  • Diana

First week of the Friday sale start here in MD and I’m wondering when the rest of the eq’s will be available? Some are up, some are not. 🙁 Oh well, Sunday paper doesn’t come till Saturday, anyway. Mayhem, pure mayhem.

    • terri

the in-ad ecoupons, and sometimes a few more, are typically available at 12:30 am on fridays

      • MisterBill

I don’t see any of the new e-coupons available, and it’s after 12:30am. Strange.

        • Rocky

I just mentioned this in the 2/5 comments! Not so much a problem for most of us, but, not so nice for the MD folks with their new week starting shortly!

          • deb

the crazy thing is, why would anyone go shopping on friday when we don’t get our newspapers with the weekend coupons til the earliest, saturday

            • Kari

I just got back into a bit of a shopping groove after having a baby and now they’re messing it all up again! 😛 First they take away my ShopRite from Home in Silver Spring and now ads starting on Fridays. Ugh.

              • Maria Lee

OMG Kari same here! I just got back into my SR couponing routine after having a baby and now they are messing with my mojo! I used to shop at the Silver Spring store but we moved so now I head to the one in Glen Bernie. Best of luck with the little one!

            • Diana

My thoughts, exactly. Earliest time to go would be Saturday, after the papers have been delivered and the q’s are clipped.

            • Bruce

This might be Shoprite Maryland’s way of keeping the shelves from being wiped out 1 hour into the new week and keeping the doubling of $1.00 coupons by delaying some of the EQ’s until the 3rd day of the sale.

        • deb

          mine showed up at 12:40

          • MisterBill

Which ones? Just as an example, I looked for the Friendly’s e-coupon that’s on the cover of the ad, and I don’t have it. Are you in MD?

            • kim

added them last night on pc, just checked app and they are not available there

            • deb

im in NJ. i don’t have the app- theyre on my computer

            • D

I clipped my ecoupons this morning just before 9 on my laptop in NJ and the Friendly’s one was there for the taking. I clipped it with no issues and there were a ton of new ones up. Are you on the app? Try a laptop/desktop.

      • Diana

I thought so, but with the sale starting on Friday here, I was hoping maybe they’d be out a bit earlier.

  • lori

butterball ground turkey post is listed at 1.00… it should be 1.99…post appears to be wrong thanks

  • MisterBill

So.. I’m not seeing the new e-coupons in the app, but I logged into the website and they’re there.

    • Stephanie

I just logged into the website. There are 41 pages of e-coupons there, including the ones I had already clipped. Maybe they’re all going to be posted on Fridays now. What do you think, Mr. B?

  • MisterBill

New E-coupons are finally in the app. There’s $2.49 off Skinny Pop Microwave popcorn (8.4 ounce box) but I can’t find it in SRFH, although it’s $4.99 at Target.

I’m a bit disappointed that there’s no free yogurt like there was during the last BBB.

  • Lorraine

Yesterday while checking out in Shoprite, the cashier called over another cashier and asked how many of the same Internet printed coupons they accept. The other cashier said four, but said they now accept two Internet coupons with the same numbers on them. Huh? So I pointed out the number in the upper right hand corner and she confirmed that these were the numbers that can be the same. I told her that the only way you can get two of the same numbers is by copying them. I would never ever copy coupons, however this policy doesn’t sound right to me. These coupons were not PDF coupons. I know that they will only accept two of the same PDF coupons with the same numbers. I think someone in Shoprite has their information all wrong.

    • MisterBill

So what else is new? The only thing different here is that they’ve made stuff up that isn’t detrimental to the customer (although it supports illegal couponing).

    • America Jones

Cashiers get misinformation all the time. Sometimes they might have the best intentions by telling you something, but many times it is inaccurate. It’s really not their fault, it’s a training issue. Just go by the coupon policy that you have read and take anything you hear with a grain of salt.

  • Nanci

Best typo ever! WHOLESOME PANTY DRUMS & THIGHS $1.41 PER POUND 🙂

  • Diana

So, at the top of my ad, it says, “Double coupons up to $1.00. With your price plus card and $25 min purchase. Limit 20 manufacturers coupons per household per day.” I am interpreting this to mean they will only double 20, but still accept the others at face value. Anyone have experience with this? I have 25 total, 20 to double, 3 will not and two $ off Catalina’s. Anyone experience this? Can I do this in one trip? I did a quick google search and couldn’t find anything.

    • Maria

      Diana,
I have received different answers when answering managers this, however most agree with you and me that 20 coupons can double and all others will be face value. This is how I plan my trip each week and I have never had any issues at my MD Shoprite. Make sure you put the ones you want to double as the first 20 when you hand them to be scanned, because the register (at least at my store) is programmed to double the first 20, no matter the value. Hope that helps!

  • Maricel

Dana, yes that will work I assume you are in MD same as me…the main guideline is you are at $25 when you reach your last coupon to double and then the others will still come off (the ones which do not need to double)..hth

    • America Jones

How low have your gotten your total down after scanning all your 20 coupons and then scanning your other coupons? I have heard that if you go below $20 the coupons will not double. Thinking that was inaccurate, but I have been scared to try it so I always keep my total above $25.

  • Maricel

    Sorry Diana…your combination will work…

  • Natalya

B2G1 Dannon Whole milk yogurt (regional coupon), exp. Varies – NLA

  • deb

So yesterday I bought a box of superpretzels. I had already used the ecoupon a week ago so I thought I would get S* back but that didn’t happen. Thought someone had posted last week that as long as there’s no ecoupon the S* would still work. Is that true? Really thinking it won’t be worth getting up at 5 a.m. anymore….

    • IK

interesting… maybe give it another day. but if it does not credit, that would be a totally new scenario…

      • deb

Another rebate from that receipt already came thru…..

    • Yan

send an email. same thing happened to me where i bought one, used the digital coupon, bought another expecting S* and nada. Even got credit for the apples several days later, but no pretzels.

      • deb

After u emailed, they still didn’t credit the pretzels?

        • Yan

they credited me, but i figured i would wait just to double check and noticed something else was credited so i decided that i waited long enough

    • Diana

Same thing happened to me with the superpretzels. I figure, at least you can still claim the ibotta.
The eq is the force behind this? So I guess I won’t get the $1/2 GM cereal this week, either after using the eq.

      • deb

that’s the weird thing- i got credited for the cereals on S* even though i also had the eq

        • maggie

it could be order of adding. the superpretzel ecoupon was available before the savingstar, in the same night/early morning, and was most likely added first. the general mills savingstar offers were available on the 1st, and the ecoupons were available 2/5, so savingstar was most likely added first in that instance. the only way to be sure is to start tracking the order in which offers are added.

          • MisterBill

But the Superpretzel isn’t crediting even when the e-coupon is not used.

            • maggie

the responses from savingstar posted here (in other threads) stated that the offer would be redeemable at other retailers besides the one with the matching eq, implying that it may be blocked from working at shoprite because the ecoupon is or was added there.

            • Harry

I did not have a chance to load the ecoupon for SuperPretzel on both my cards since it was NLA when I looked for it. I did get S* credit on both of my S* accounts for this item. I used a SR SC and MFR on one and just a SR SC only on the other. So it appears that even if you loaded the ecpn and used it at first a second trans without the ecoupon would block you from getting the S* credit while never loading the ecoupon would ensure you get the S* credit….again just speculation based on the responses here and before.

        • MisterBill

I think the Superpretzel offer is just broken, I didn’t get it either (still need to email them). As for the cereals, my theory is that they are not blocking multiple item offers. We’ll see if I get credited for the Progresso offers from Acme, bought them today.

          • LB

I bought the progresso soup using the $1/2 EQ and received the $1/2 S*. I also purchased the old el paso refried beans using the .30/1 EQ and received the S*. Yet I did not get the S* for the superpretzels. It doesn’t seem to make much sense about when you get the S* and when you don’t. So I’m now just considering a super bonus if I get it and not basing my purchasing decisions on these offers.

  • Sherry Z

Well, after hunting everywhere in the store for the Tyson Grilled and Ready, I passed. They were almost $10. Crazy PA prices…..

    • ella

sounds like you were looking at the larger frozen packs rather than the smaller refrigerated packs. they are not carried in all stores.

      • Sherry Z

hmmm yes, these were all they carried.

  • IK

for split seconds there were a bunch of e-coupons in the app for Flonase – and then poof! – disappeared….

    • MisterBill

I just got a couple of them. Try again, I think there are 19 new ones since I had 383 before and 412 now.

New $3 Dulcolax and $4 Duo Fusion.

      • IK

yep – they are back – along with $2 Truvia 🙂

  • Dee

No new e coupons from ShopRite

  • Ash Patel

new e coupons up about two extra pages

    • MisterBill

Yes, 29 new ones. $3 on Dulcolax, $4 on Duo Fusion. Also $1 on JC’s Pie Pops (frozen) that were pretty good when we got them free at S&S last year.

      $2 Keri Lotion.

      • Ash Patel

yes they were the key lime was great dont forget nutella and keri

      • Eggs

keri is free after $2 IP from RP site

        • bilinval

Is there now a limit of 1 from RP? I can only get one print and then it says I reached my limit.

      • Tara

I had to go in and put each name into the search bar (Keri, Duo, Dulcolax). They were not coming up for me. So weird!

  • MisterBill

Free Nutella! $1.50 e-coupon just posted and $1.50 in this week’s SS (although I don’t have it, hopefully it will be printable at 1am).

    • Ash Patel

      free keri too

  • Jenna

I have 506 coupons available. Has the clip limit been increased?

    • Tara

      Weird. I only have 467.

      • Eggs

You may have used more coupons than Jenna, or not clipped as many of the longer lasting ones. I have 537. I haven’t had issues with the clip limits in a few months and I’ve cliped a good portion of the ones available

        • Jenna

Hi Eggs. Do you know if the clip limit has increased? I think it usually does during the the Big Brand Bash but I don’t know for sure.

          • Eggs

I probably have 400 clipped right now, so I am going to say yes. I think they got rid oif the clip limit after that incident a few months ago when it let people go over the clip limit then everyones accounts were wiped of the coupons (who had gone over the limit) and they gave out all of those $5 eqs ,

            • Jenna

Wow, I must have slept through that! Thanks so much for the answer.

      • MisterBill

You either had less e-coupons clipped that were previously available and now NLA, or used more of them.

  • MisterBill

Has anyone tried Bumble Bee sardines? They seem to be $1.49 less $1 e-coupon, I always buy Season brand. Are the BB brand skinless and boneless?

  • Eggs

    MM Powerbars….there is a printable on the smartsource website + eq. Buy 4 @ .50 each, = $2 – $2/4 EQ – 2/4 insert or printable. = $2 MM

    • MisterBill

Nice! I missed that e-coupon the last time, as I recall.

    • Rocky

I think there was a separate post about them, something about 16 free! Not sure if it was for SR, will have to look around for it!

      • Eggs

yes, you can. 8 per variety for .50 price, you should be able to use 4 ips and 4 insert q’s in each transaction for 32 total free….but i don’t have the insert coupon.

        • MisterBill

I like $2 better than free better! Otherwise you’re effectively paying $2 for the extra bars!

          • Eggs

I hope I get this insert coupon, I probably should have ordered them, these are great to donate. Filled with sugar but also high in protein.

            • MisterBill

              It’s not in my SS.

        • Rocky

          Thank you!!!

    • LB

this EQ must have gone quick cause I don’t think it’s available any longer.

  • MisterBill

So, this will seem strange being posted by me, but Vagisil medicated powder is $2.99 and free with $1.50 e-coupon and the $1.50 coupon from last week’s SS :).

Stupid question, can this be used as powder elsewhere on the body?

    • IK

lol . sorry – no answer to your question – lol

    • Eggs

Isn’t it just anti chafing powder? I would assume it could be used in places you experience chafing….

    • America Jones

Looks like it would be fine to use elsewhere based on the ingredients list online. Nothing crazy in there that would indicate that you can’t. Could work to absorb odors in shoes. If you have sensitive skin/allergies, it does have fragrance. Looks like it’s really just spruced up baking power and corn starch TBH.

    • Laura D.

Yes it can. I started using this powder for my feet to keep them dry when I hike. I’ve tried them all, this is the only one I don’t get blisters or any redness from. It has no talc (the only one that didn’t years ago, which btw causes cancer,, ovarian). It stops my feet from sweating while hiking, which also reduces friction and calluses. It also keeps the inside of my shoes drier which in turn makes them last longer, the material doesn’t break down requiring me to buy new shoes, which usually cost me $100 – $140 to replace. I put it on my feet first, then put on my socks, then shoes and I’m out the door! I also don’t notice much of any fragrance,, I buy the blue bottle if that helps.

  • Rocky

    $3 Huggies ecoupon.

    • Tara

Perfect for me to donate. Thanks!

      • Rocky

        You’re welcome!

  • MisterBill

Is anyone able to get into the Smartsource Shoplocal sites? I get a blank page for all of them.

    • Eggs

      Working for me.

      • MisterBill

Thanks. Tried a different machine and it’s working. However, I’ve yet to find a city with anything other than a Harbor Freight ad!

        • kate

each different city version that i try to look at is automatically switching to my local (nj) ad for smart source local. is it doing that to you?

          • Rocky

            Uh, oh….

          • kate

it is doing that using the links from a googled page of all cities, but changing the store id in the address bar gets to other pages. annoying extra step, though.

            • Rocky

              Whew!

            • Eggs

it works in incognito as well.

              • kate

does it otherwise redirect you? is this new, or am i just “lucky”?

                • Eggs

yes, it keeps taking me to the albany ny ad (I live outside philly) it only lets me visit other SSSL sites through incognito (Or I assume, the method you mentioned) This is new…

            • IK

but what is the result of all this? all i’m seeing is 3 pages with Harborside freight, and no coupons in any of the locations…

              • kate

yeah, there is a definite lack of coupons. many areas have powerbar and barber, but that’s about it, maybe one other for a few. only 3 to 5 pages for most. portland only has 1 page, and it is the harbor freight ad – that seems to be available everywhere!

    • Chayne

Do the coupons from the shop local sites share the same bar code as the ones printed from the normal smartsource site?

  • MisterBill

Free got2b stylers with $2 RP and $2 Ibotta. Maybe better than free if there’s a new S*. No e-coupon. Garnier Whole Blends is not printable.

Actually, $1 better than free because there are separate Ibotta offers for men and women and a $1 bonus for doing both (it claims on 2 different trips so I’m not sure what would happen if you bought them together).

    • Maria Constant

My got2b on Ibotta are gone. Do you still have yours?

      • mel18

Had them, not used, and now gone!

      • Yan

Last night I checked and they expire today at 3am est as well as the bonus

        • mel18

hold tight, Ibotta offer(s) may return

      • MisterBill

Ugh, hadn’t noticed the expiration. Mine are gone too. That’s too bad. Still free with the new S*.

  • Eggs

.75/1 barilla sauce coupon on coupons dot com 🙂 free sauce if your store is $1.50 like listed above (My SRFH says $1.79)

    • MisterBill

      S&S is $1.49.

    • deb

i don’t see it- did that come out today and already nla or was that from awhile ago?

      • Eggs

I would look under foods on coupons dot com…it also might be a regional coupon and not available based on your location. Im seeing it as still available as of 656 am

        • deb

Ty! i had just tried looking at the brands and barilla didn’t show any coupons but then did as u suggested and went thru food and it popped up

  • Chayne

The ad says that barilla pasta is 1.25 and that there is suppose to be a ecoupon to make them 4/ $3, but I have not seen a $2/4 ecoupon. Did they make a typo?

    • Janice B.

Yes, I was disappointed that my Barilla ecoupon was only for $1/4. Appears to be a typo. If it had been for $2 I likely would’ve purchased because the combination with the manufacturer’s coupon would’ve dropped it to 50 cents per box, but 75 cents isn’t a bargain for pasta IMHO.

    • KarenSJ

My ecoupon was for $1/4 BUT when I purchased four Barilla this morning, $2.00 ecoupon came off!

      • Janice B.

        Good to know. Thanks!

  • Mimi Mi

if we bought superpretzels and they were free , will we still get 75 cents credit on saving star, thanks in advance

  • LB

new saving star posted. I had 15 of them

    • Chayne

There were 15 at 5am. I wonder what was already gone by the time you saw them.

      • LB

There actually were 15 for me…I edited my post shortly after my initial one. Apparently my eyes were still dreary and I couldn’t count correctly 🙂

  • Sherry Z

    Uninspired.

    • MisterBill

Actually better than expected for a BBB week.

      • Danielle

        what is a BBB week?

        • Danielle

nevermind just figured it out based on the flier 🙂

  • Eggs

    Posted this below, but:

Keri digital did not come off on the blue label/daily moisture variety.

Power bars digital did not come off, I purchased a variety of Vanilla, chocolate, and peanut butter.
Power bars are only 8 per transaction at the .50 price, any more ring up as $1.

I paid $7.96 for the 120 ct spray flonase ($10 insert q, $5 digital) Depending on if it triggers any S* offers this could be a very good MM, I will update y’all later this week when S* posts to my account.

    • mel18

Thanks for your early feedback on how things are working (or not). Helps a lot to know what to expect at checkout.

    • mel18

So even when buying 8 Power bars @ $0.50 each the $2/4 Eq did not come off?

      • Eggs

Nope, I bought 16 because I had 2 IP and 2 insert qs. Digital did not come off. only 8 came up at .50, I’ll go back later on today (CS was closed) and return the extra 8 for a refund/rering those.

    • Eggs

      Second transaction:

I bought 8 power bars (All the vanilla variety), 1 keri shea butter lotion, 1 oscar mayer thick cut bacon.

      I paid .98 oop.

      Power bars all rang up at .50 each=$4 – (2) $2/4 – $2/4 EQ (free + $2)
      Keri rang up $3.99 – $2/1 EQ – $2/1 IP = Free + 1 cent
      Oscar Mayer rang up $3.99 – $1/1 EQ = $2.99

      • mel18

You bought 8 of the same variety bars (vanilla) and this time the $2/4 Eq came off?

        • Eggs

yup! it came off when I bought all vanilla vs a mix of vanilla/chocolate/peanut butter the first time

          • MisterBill

So it sounds like either chocolate or peanut butter isn’t working for the e-coupon.

            • Eggs

Someone said above that 8 PB worked for them, so….unless someone reports back I’m guessing the chocolate? Or just an error, I always seem to have issues at that 24 hours SR on sunday mornings.

              • MisterBill

I guess so… I’m only buying to donate so I don’t care what flavor I buy.

    • Fiona

Thank you for your input. I would have tried to do 16 Powerbars in one transaction, but I stuck to 8 due to your experience. I also made sure to get the shea butter Keri. Everything worked great. Thanks again!

    • honhon anolacse

wher do you get the $10 q?

      • Eggs

It was a regional insert coupon in todays newspaper.

        • honhon anolacse

          ss or rp?

          • Eggs

RP. it’s a one week only coupon, expires the 19th.

  • bilinval

I was told the same thing.

  • Michele_A_SI

On SRFH, the Annies Mac and cheese are 5/$4.95 and the granola bars are 5/9.95 They are part of the “LoveSavings” promo on SRFH, where if you spend $20 on various Annies and other products, and place a minimum $50 order, you save $10. That’s a net $5 for me as my store charges $5 for pickup. You can use 4 .50/1 Mac and cheese coupons and 4 75/1 Annie snack (granola bars are listed on the coupon) coupons for a really great deal – free! Of course you do have to spend a minimum $50 for the entire order in order to use the promo code.

  • Karen SJ

Thanks for posting this info! I thought if I already used the SR ecoupon, I would get the savingstar on a different shopprng trip.

    • Ash Patel

i thought that too… savingstar is just annoying now is sometimmes randomly works when according to them (what they explained to me for why it does not work) it should not and then sometimes it does work

  • Stubby

If you still have the Balmex Diaper Rash Cream $2 SR e-coupon, $1.01 MM with the $2 Printable available on coupons dot com.
The 2 oz tube is $2.99.. The 4 oz tube is $3.09 for a .91 MM

    • CouponMan

When I bought the squeeze container size for $3.09, the digital coupon did not come off.

It came off for the 2oz version.

      • Sandy

Interesting! I bought the 4 oz. but it was in a box for $3.09 and the ecoupon did come off on Friday.

  • Tara

Anyone else try any other combinations of power bars that the e-coup worked on?

    • Fiona

I did 8 caramel nut brownie and it worked.

      • Tara

        Thank you Fiona!

      • Eggs

Is this flavor included in the .50 sale ?

        • Fiona

Check your SRFH — it is for my Shoprite.

          • Eggs

It doesn’t show up for me on my SRFH, and the store I went to today didnt have them/didn’t have them tagged. I used up all my coupons already but I’m hoping to get more lol.

            • Fiona

In my experience, my SRFH inventory is usually accurate (very unlike Peapod), so that store probably doesn’t carry that kind. My store also has price check machines throughout the store and I depend on those when I’m not sure. Anyway, it seems like it should be the Performance Energy and Protein Snack Bars (previously called Triple Threat).

    • mel18

I did 8 peanut butter and the $2/4 Eq came off.

      • Tara

        Thank you Mel!

  • Yan

one my shoprite still had the Schwarzkopf essence ULTIME shampoo/conditioners on clearance for $3.74. If your store still has them then its a simple MM: $3.74*2 – $5/2 digital coupon – $5/2 manu coupon = -$2.52 overage.

    • MisterBill

And possible $5/2 and $2/1 from S* if you clipped them.

      • Yan

I’ll report back if I get the credit. I’m going to not count on s* moving forward and will treat it as a nice surprise. did you happen to get the credit for the progresso soups?

        • MisterBill

I’ve been thinking about this. Other than Superpretzel, are there any other items that people have not gotten S* credited due to an e-coupon? It worked for Minute Rice for me and others.

          • nick hill

I had about 10 different items from multiple trips in past weeks denied. Centrum, Muir glen, Annie’s, natures bounty etc etc. perhaps I was just a random”audit” or something on their part?

            • Selma

Interesting, I bought all of those items and had the S* credit. I think you were unlucky. 🙁

            • Ellen Lightfoot

              same for me

          • Yan

I purchased an Kaopectate and did not get credit 🙁

          • Joanie Yan

I think it worked for the Minute Rice because that was an older offer. Recent offers have not been working for individual items.

    • Yan

      no S* for the shampoos/conditioners

      • Laura D.

Bummer! Was hoping that one would go through. Thanks for the update!

  • anon

Can anyone provide the Zip Code for the PowerBar coupon? tia

    • Harry

Not sure if zip code will work or not, just change the smartsource dot shoplocal dot com storeid to 2667627 (phoenix, AZ) where I got couple prints from.

Also I have a question to anyone who tried this – are the power bar harvest part of this sale?

      • anon

Just tried phoenix shop local, print unavailable ;-(.

      • kathy

late for the sale, but apparently the harvest powerbars were clearanced 2 for $1. if you still find any at your store, they should still be that price even if the others are no longer on sale. the best part was the $1 for buying 2 still deducted after they rang up 2/$1, so they were free before coupon. don’t know if they trigger the ecoupon – had already used it on other varieties.

    • Chayne

It looks like they are NLA. I just went to check and they are not showing in the list.

  • Yan

my main store had the new york style pita chips on sale for $2.50 so free after ibotta. of course the other store, several miles away but still in the same city, didn’t and I didn’t realize the price difference until I left the store.

    • MisterBill

I’m disappointed that panetini aren’t on sale. Last time they had these all varieties were the same price.

      • Yan

My store had them on sale last week but not this week. Odd that the entire line isn’t on sale at the same time

  • Eggs

Flonase 120 ct spray – $22.96 I used the $10/1 (1 week only coupon, expires the 19th) and the $5/1 EQ, paid $7.96, and was credited $12 from Saving star ($10 for 120ct+, $2 for 60ct+) so a $4.04 MM, obviously with the s* issues people have been having, YMMV so don’t yell at me if you do not receive these rebates.

I did not receive the keri savingstar (I purchased two varieties, one with with the eq, one without the eq.)

    • Laura D.

Holy Cow!!!! I hope it works for me, thanks so much for posting.

    • MisterBill

      Thanks for updating!

    • Stubby

Did you purchase the regular (green) or the new Sensimist (blue)? The Saving* is for the Sensimist. so perhaps it allowed it but didn’t have a conflict with the SR e-Q because it was supposedly for the different type? Also, I’m seeing the SR e-Q for $4.. was there also one for $5 that is no longer available?
      Thanks

      • Eggs

I purchased the regular/green variety and The S* I received were for the regular/green flonase variety, they were available on Sunday to clip but may be NLA.

SR Coupon was new on Sunday I believe, also seems to be NLA.

        • MisterBill

I thought the $4 and $2 e-coupons were what came out on Sunday. At least that’s what I got.

          • lois

yes, looks like the $5 and $3 (exp 2/25) are from a previous week, not sure how long ago

          • Eggs

Oops, I thought they were the new ones. my brain is fried.

    • Ronnie

I received a $6/1 Flonase SR digital Q on my receipt, curious 😉 There was also a $5/1 on S* for 120 as well as the $10/1 & $2/1 Waiting to see what credits on those. will post when it shows up.

      • Lesley

I am curious what credit you received from SavingStar.

        • Laura D.

I did exactly what eggs suggested 2 days ago. I received nothing for Flonase. I did get my $2 for benefiber though. So I guess that’s it. 🙁 what a bummer!

          • IK

sorry to hear about that… gee, I was really upset at first, when I did not get the $10 insert coupon – but then I thought to myself – maybe, with only a week to go, it just saved me some heart/head- ache…

            • Laura D.

Yeah, it super bummed me out too! I have another acount I did too. Maybe I’ll get lucky, but I’m not counting on it. I have a family member that uses this. It’s a great product, but really expensive. I’m still hoping there will be a great deal on it somewhere by spring when allergy season kicks in. If you have to have it 8 bucks is acceptable. We are very spoiled though, lol.

          • Lesley

Darn! I tried it tonight. I’ll return it if I don’t get credit. Thanks!

          • Lesley

For some reason I received credit for $10 and $2. Not sure why some people get it and some don’t!

            • Laura D.

Lucky!!!! Was your ppc scanned before or after product and coupons scanned?

              • Lesley

I’m trying to remember since I’ve done a few small trips this week, but I think it was after everything was scanned. I type in my phone number, and then when they hit total, all the sale prices come off and the ecoupons as well. Sometimes the cashiers start scanning before I’m done putting everything on, so I don’t do it intentially.

                • jj

did you add the savingstar offers before adding any new ecoupons for that product on sunday?

                  • Lesley

                    I don’t remember, sorry!

  • MisterBill

So, I requested coupons from Brownie Brittle last week and got an envelope in the mail with 5 $1 coupons inside, so I’ll be getting a bunch of different varieties free after $1 Ibotta offers.

Strangely, my SRFH doesn’t show all flavors on sale, but when I check for a CT store it does. Hopefully SRFH is just wrong.

I also requested coupons from Marzetti and they sent me a single $1 coupon. It’s on sale for $2.99 at my NY store this week, but with the Ibotta offers gone I’m not buying any.

    • IK

nice. brittle ibotta expires 2/15 (tomorrow the last day to purchase). was hovering on their site few days ago – figured i would not get coupons in time prior to ibotta expiration, so did not bother…what is the exp date on coupons they sent you?

      • MisterBill

Thanks for pointing out the expiration date, I always miss those! I guess I’m going to SR today. The expiration is 6/30. I was surprised to get them so quickly since their website told me to allow 2-8 weeks after I submitted my request!

Hopefully the store has 5 ounce packages. Per SRFH, they carry 4 ounce, but I see the ad says 5 ounce.

      • MisterBill

FYI, the Brownie Brittle is on C51 this week. Limit 1 of each variety. I did manage to buy it on Tuesday at SR, had a heck of a time finding it! Finally found one guy who told me to look across from the bakery, near frozen. Found one circular rack next to frozen stuff. I’d walked the entire store looking for them for 15 minutes but missed this particular spot since I figured there was no way they’d be there.

        • IK

yes, thanks for letting me know… unfortunately, i never got to request my coupons mailed … will probably still buy a couple, as i have a sr store coupon for $1 off $4 ‘salty’ snacks (sea salt makes it a salty snack imo :)).

        • Yan

it’s on sale again next week. wished I had known that before making a special trip thinking today was the last day

        • Yan

hmmm. only one of my stores has it on sale again.

  • anne88e

If I need to return something do I still have return to the Shoprite I purchased the item at or can I go to any Shoprite? A few yrs back I was told it had be the same SR but I was wondering if this is still true?
I’ll be near a SR tomorrow but the item I want return was purchased at a different SR store. TIA!

    • MisterBill

Any SR should be fine, at least that has been my experience. I guess YMMV on some owners.

      • Laura D.

Interesting. Around here they scan the product and tell you it didn’t come from their store and tell you to go to the store you purchased from. You’re lucky, I haven’t been able to do that in over 5 years.

        • Aron

My store checks the computer and price plus record and figure out the store the purchase came from. If it not from the same store they sometimes give a gift card.

          • MisterBill

Why do they need to do that when the store location is printed on the receipt?

            • Aron

That is if there is no receipt.

            • Aron

to see if you return that same product before.

  • Eggs

Dumb question, but does anyone know off the top of their head if Infusium23 has a new name now? Someone asked me to pick them some up next time they are free with coupons but their website doesn’t seem to be running and I do recall seeing different packaging/possibly a different brand name last time i was at SR…..

    • amanda

They better not discontinue this shampoo. It is my favorite, discovered it for free about a 6 months ago and have yet to see it on sale since. I only have 2 bottles left.

      • Eggs

It does seem to be only Infusium now, with two lines of product only. I emailed them asking if they are able to tell me when the next newspaper coupon will be, I’ll let you know what they say.

    • Karen

Certain Infusium23 varieties reg 7.99 are on clearance 3.99 at my CT store, including color defender shampoo and conditioner, repair & renew shampoo, moisture replenisher conditioner.

      • Eggs

I’m hoping for a good $4 sale with a $2 insert/matching EQ lol. One of the products the person I buy for is specifically looking for is their dry shampoo. I hope it’s not discontinued and they put it out again in the future.

  • Aron

Carolina Brown Rice is on sale for .99 and there is .50 coupon in 1/29 RP2. Making it free

    • Yan

according to SRFH it’s on sale until 3/11 :))))

  • beth

new savingstar, renuzit, right guard, advil, thermacare

    • nick hill

      Thanks Beth!

    • Denise Uzunis

      Thanks!

  • Rachel

Question, does anyone have any info regarding Shoprite’s Beauty Care Rewards? Is the $30 requirement before coupons or after coupons, and does it go off of sale prices or the shelf price? Over the past two weeks, I’ve gotten 2 $4 coupons after making various purchases, so I’m just trying to maximize my savings before the program ends in April

    • Lorraine

I think it is before coupons. I have received two $6 (on $60 purchase). I was wondering if there was a place where you can see your cumulative total to see how close you are to your goal. Would anyone know?

      • Laura D.

        Unfortunately, it is a mystery.

      • Rocky

They used to print updates as a cat announcement after purchases (not necessarily after each purchase) and it would give your ‘to date’ total, but, lately, that seems to be hit or miss. I don’t know if anyone has actually called SR corporate, recently, but, in the past, there was little info given, other than ‘it is random’, and, ‘we don’t know’!!!

        • Rachel

My first cat with the initial offer printed my running total. For each order I’ve done since then, I’ve been issued new $4 cats, so I’m not sure what my running total is at the moment? Here’s a pic of what my initial offer looked like.

          https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/d956c813070decd08271784e1bc3d5205aa598850fdaabd0851ccedc35ddb631.jpg

          • Rocky

            Oh, that’s great!

        • LindaF

I called SR yesterday and spoke to a woman name Courtney…she had no info on program and promised to call me back with whatever she could find out. I worked in marketing for years and this is beyond me how these promotions are rolled out with no notice or information given to the stores or even their own customer staff.

      • Diana

I’ve gotten three $6 (on $60 purchase). I think the price is determined by the sale price before eq and paper, but I’m not sure. I seem to be getting them more often than I thought I would, so maybe it’s the regular price. It also seems as though they are giving me the running total on every other trip. I’m close to another and the promotion is running until April sometime. The herbal essence and loreal deals last week helped a lot.

    • SU

Can you explain the Beauty Care Rewards? I’ve never heard of it. Thanks!

      • Rocky

It’s random. And, the amounts are variable. Some folks received announcements for $5 off every $40 you spend, other folks reported $6 off every $60 spend until the end date, etc. I’ve shopped at SR for umpteen years and only received my first announcement a couple of weeks ago! No one knows who might get them, or, for how much!

        • sandyk

I got an update on Friday on mine from the cat machine. It says “For every $60 you spend on Hair Care, Hair Accessories, Cosmetic, Skin Care, and Sun Care Products, Earn a $6.00 Reward using your Price Plus Card at ShopRite! Program ends 4/8/2017.” and in the fine print “Only one reward issued per transaction. All purchases must be made using your Price Plus Card. Purchases can be made over multiple trips. 10 rewards per participant. Program ends on 4/8/2017. Participation by Invitation only. Non-transferable.

    • Michelle T.

I have no idea, but today I received a $4 Beauty Care Rewards Cat. Tried looking at my account on the app for any info, and there is nothing I can find. You’d think if they have a rewards program, they would tell you how it works…

      • Laura D.

Did you buy the Colgate save $3 when you buy 3?

        • Michelle T.

No, just a Eucerin lotion, and Purell. Seems it tracks by Price Plus card, but it would be nice if we could see it, to figure out what applies, and how close we are to earning the next reward.

          • Laura D.

Agreed! ! This time is even harder then last time. I’ve bought items expecting it to print, then norhing.

    • Laura D.

I think I have figured something out. This little logo that is on the Beauty Rewards catalina announcement and on the rewards cat, is showing up in the ad each week. Last week it was by the Colgate, next week its by the Always and Poise. Though, this week there aren’t any in the ad. Just a thought. We may never know for sure, but funny how that logo keeps showing up recently. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/e629ba348f3519999bbcb1fa3f9bb29987cbbfd089856cdf6981f672f59abb75.jpg

      • MisterBill

The logo means there’s an OYNO offer on the item.

        • Laura D.

Really!?!?! I didn’t know that. Where the heck have I been?!? I should know that.

        • Natalya

          what is OYNO pls?

          • Laura D.

            On Your Next Order

            • Natalya

              thank you

              • Laura D.

                YW! 🙂

        • Ellen Lightfoot

          What does OYNO mean?

  • Eggs

I emailed SR about SRFH indicating power bars being 8 per variety/up to 32 total per transaction as SRFH would indicate to me. (Because the first transaction I did I purchased 16 total to use all four coupons I had.), and the Keri & Power bar ecoupons not coming off on that transaction. They ignored the ecoupon comments and just focused on the power bar pricing and gave me an $8 credit on my card. (Thats not what I was asking for as I did return & rering at customer service, but I’ll take it)

annnnnnnnnnnd guess who gave me the credit? Y’alls favorite Customer service rep Cameron.

    • IK

      oh, good ole Cameron 🙂

  • Cathy

Help – is it possible to print on coupons dot com from my iPad without signing in? I can bypass the initial sign on to select but can not get past it to complete and print. TIA.

    • IK

      are you using the app?

  • Mary Ann Cremer

I cannot find the e-coupon for cape cod!

    • Mary Ann Cremer

Or the IBOTTA rebate for wise wth

      • Yan

The wise rebate expired today at 3:00 am which is why you no longer see it. Maybe it’ll come back like it did last week

    • Eggs

Cape Cod EQ seems to be NLA

    • B

I can’t find either of the 2 digital coupons for $1.50/1 HEFTY TRASH BAGS or the $1/1 BUTTERBALL GROUND TURKEY on 3 different Shop-Rite accounts (Mine, hubby & mother-in-law). Is anyone else missing these coupons? LRWC has both of these as TOP DEALS @Shop-Rite for the week. Please advise… Thanks

      • IK

those became available quite some time ago – they are nla to clip

        • Ellen Lightfoot

Day late and dollar gone, but Trash bags for .99 cents is god for the quanity

          • B

This is true. Still a good deal I guess.

          • MisterBill

            49c. $2.49 less $1 paper coupon and $1 Ibotta.

        • B

I kinda figured that, but i don’tsee it in my list, and I log into my account every single week on Sunday. Shouldn’t it still show up?

          • IK

you probably just missed them -sorry…

          • Chayne

If it runs out of clips, and you didn’t clip it when you first saw it, then it will not show up in your account.
Any ecoupon you clip will be available in your account until it expires or until you use it. But if you don’t clip it, then it won’t show up if it runs out.

        • Mary Ann Cremer

I NEVER realized that so you have to clip everything u want in advance?

          • Chayne

Yes, some ecoupons disappear within hours of going live.
If you think there is something you might use, you should clip it as soon as you see it. Otherwise you have the chance that it won’t be available later.
All ecoupons have a set number of clips allowed, and some have a very small number.

          • Rocky

The ecoupons in the ad are usually posted on Friday mornings, around 12:30a. Then they post more on Sunday mornings around 12:30a. The hot ones, usually high value, or ones with matching insert or printable coupons are the ones that reach their clip limits, first.

  • anon

Did anyone who has both $3 & $1.50 e-coupons on their cards, buy the Schick Razors? If so, did the $3 e coupon come off or the $1.50 e coupon? tia

    • Maria Constant

Both mine came off on the women’s Schick that was 5.99

    • Pipperroo

Both of mine came off today also.

      • anon

What variety did you buy? I’m buying the Mens razors. tia

I bought the Men’s razors and both came off.

What variety of Men’s razors did you buy?tia

  • Sandy

If you’re in need of a Quickie broom – My store had an angle floor broom clearanced $8.99 – $4.50 and there is that $3.00 printable still available making it only $1.49 — For $1.49 couldn’t help myself!

    • Sherry Z

Jealous! I’ve been watching the price. My store has it for $12.99! Crazy!

  • MisterBill

Next week’s ad e-coupons are now available.

    • Rocky

Thanks, I had forgotten all about them!

      • nick hill

        Me too!

        • Rocky

And, it took forever! I had also forgotten there were a bunch of them for BBB!!!

    • Rocky

I am annoyed! There are two Maxwell House Ground coffee ecoupons, one for 50c and one for $1 and it would only let me clip the $1 one. I got the Yikes message on the other one…sniffle…

      • nick hill

        Same thing here Rocky.

      • Jenna

I never got the .50 e-coupon…also did not receive the .75/1 in the paper (so disappointed!) Was that .50 coupon with the BBB coupons?

      • sandyk

I was annoyed that I had 3 Food Should Taste Good ecoupons clipped, two with expiration dates of 2/18 and one with 3/5. Yesterday I bought a bag and they took off the 3/5 ecoupon.

        • Lesley

Email customer service. This happened one time when there were two progresso ecoupons with different expiration dates. When I (and some others here) used it, the one with the longer expiration date came off. Emailed customer service and they credited $1 to my ShopRite card. Worth a try!

    • hill

Do you know the limit of ecouponn we can clip to our card? I have never been able to get a number from shoprite. Thank you! !

  • LB

the .75/1 hanover riced/mashed printable says do not double on it and it doesn’t double. So they end up being $1.25 each…not .50 as indicated above.

  • Sunil

Off topic and I don’t know if it’s discussed here before, but here goes.

I recently bough the SuperPretzel at ShopRite which had an ecoupon and a S* and the Progresso soups from Acme with also had an ecoupon and S*

Waited like 5 days and didn’t receive credit. I usually get it in like 2 days, so I contacted S*. Received a response back that said when there’s a corresponding ecoupon from a store (like Acme and Shoprite) the S* will not get credited.

Is this new or did I just get a Cameron like response and this rep didn’t know what she was talking about? Has anyone else experienced this?

    Thanks in advance.

    • IK

lol – this is RELATIVELY new… where have you been, Sunil – slacking? 🙂 . S* has been flaky… this is the new rules 🙁

      • Sunil

Lol. Yes, apparently I have been slacking. I haven’t been reading the comments over the past 2 or 3 weeks and haven’t been shopping very much either.

This new policy is terrible. Seems like everything is getting worse.

Thanks for bringing me up to speed.

    • Harry

yeah, has been discussed before past couple weeks. Perhaps LRWC could come up with some kind of user created Wiki to save such rapidly changing rules that LRWC itself is not allowed to post in detail.
Another major change in the last few days is the S&S non stacking of ecpn and cpn being register enforced though some one found a workaround for that as well by scanning card after coupons.

      • Sunil

The new S&S policy is terrbile as well. Didn’t hear about that either, so thank you.

How long before ShopRite follows along? 🙁

    • MisterBill

I didn’t get either of those, either. I don’t really understand why the Progresso didn’t at least generate the $1/2 since the $2 e-coupon should only have attached to one item on the receipt. Similarly, I did not get the Superpretzel credited, even when I did not use an e-coupon. I need to contact them and complain, but I am disappointed to see that they didn’t offer to credit you as a goodwill gesture and it seemed others had gotten.

      • nick hill

I didnt get offered credit for any of the many items i wasn’t credited for over past weeks even though i contacted them about each trip. Funnily enough, BigY e-coupons stack and I have had no issues with S* even though items were free before it (such as the
        Progresso soups and breadcrumbs).

      • Sunil

Definitely disappointing. Maybe because they figured people should know by now and they have to follow through and stop crediting at some point.

These new policy changes are terrible.

      • Dusya

This was the explanation that I got from S* regarding not getting credit for the second purchase that was made without ecoupon.
        I wrote:
” I bought 3 all detergents and 1 snuggle. The shoprite digital coupon is only one time use. So if shoprite digital coupon applies to one item the other 2 items that were bought without shoprite coupon should be still eligible for saving star offer. Correct me if I am wrong.”

        S* response:
“once the offer is activated on a different service, it is not available on that card on your SavingStar account even if it is redeemed or deactivated on that service. The offer can only be activated once per card, which is why that did not post. I’m sorry for any inconvenience.”

  • Emily Lewis Rice

Can anyone tell me the difference between the L’Oreal hair care expert and the expert treatment? Everything looked marked the same way and I wanted to make sure I got the correct products

  • Sherry Z

Is anyone able to tell me what the Lipton tea deal was for 1/29 or 1/22 that was a must buy 6? My store has been out of the tea for weeks and I checked my raincheck and I see that it was written all wrong. Thank you so much in advance!

    • Denise Uzunis

Was it for tea bags? I’m having a hard time finding it in the old matchups

      • Sherry Z

Thank you so much. Yes, it was but I think it may not have made it into match-ups. I vaguely recall it being on the lower right side of the page of the circular and not with similar items – the little yellow box of tea bags.

        • Sherry Z

The raincheck is dated 2/11 so it had to have been during the week of 2/5. I actually found it – bottom of LEFT side of page in circular. Bad deal. 100 ct $3.79. Buy 6, save $3. So $3.29 each.

          THANK YOU!

  • Sherry Z

This is so sick. I herniated a disk in my neck helping my contractor lift my 80 gal water heater. I’ve been flat on my back in excruciating pain unable to move and yet I am stupidly determined to get to SR due to all these great freebies. I don’t need surgery: I need psychiatric institutionalization. I am so thrilled that there are no inserts Sunday – no having to purchase newspapers.

    • IK

hope you feel better soon 🙂

      • Sherry Z

So very nice of you. Thank you. Much appreciated.

    • sandyk

Oh no! Rest as much as you can. You are such a dedicated couponer; I hear the Rocky music playing in the background.

      • Sherry Z

Thank you so much. Actually, I had to get blood work AND a friend from Florida called asking me to pick up her Rx from SR and send it to her. I took tons of anti-inflammatories, got the lab work done and since I was at SR, I couponed. What a huge freebie week…. the woman’s shelter will be so happy with all these toiletries.

It was wonderful to be standing!

        • Jenna

You are a trooper…and a kind soul – feel better soon!

    • Selma

Take it easy Sherry! My mom just had back surgery for a herniated disk, those things are terrible! 🙁

      • Sherry Z

Yes. I had 7.5 hour surgery for a herniated disk S5L1 which is the most

common lower back herniation. I actually signed myself out on the third day and went to a ballet class and have been asymptomatic since. That is by far the exception. It’s a very last resort as it is rarely a cure and can even make matters worse if the disk above then herniates (very common) or if adhesions develop as they can cause pressure on the spinal cord and create the same awful symptoms.

        Now it’s my neck. (

I hope that your Mom has a speedy recovery and a successful result!

        • Selma

My mother had the L4-L5 done. It has been a long long road which ended with her developing drop foot so it was either surgery or permanent nerve damage! We were lucky to find a great neurosurgeon though and so far so good. 🙂

Thank you very much, I hope you also get some relief very soon!

    • Rocky

      Feel better soon!

    • Laura D.

      Feel better soon Sherry!!!

  • MisterBill

There is (or has been) a link saying “I’ll do it later”.

    • nick hill

I have that option on my computer but no longer have it on mobile devices/apps.

  • Sherry Z

    Heads up:
I purchased the DulcoEase Pink stool softener 30 sift gels for $4.99 (NOT the tablets with Hydrosoft. $4.99 was deducted (DM) instead of $3. Nice!

    • MisterBill

      Very nice!

    • nick hill

Same thing for me. No issue with the $4 printable for once the SR calculator stayed in the pocket!

  • IK

Hello everyone – need everyone’s opinion…this is what happened. Went shopping, got this and that, including MMs like Powerbars, DUO, Dulcolax, etc. Also had a bunch of store catalina coupons like $2 off HBA purchase etc. I do not calculate my balance every time, but I usually have a ballpark number in mind. So hen all is said and done, I expected to pay anywhere from $3 to $8 :). Long story short, last coupon to be scanned was $4 Dulcolax. At that point the balance was $4.04. A manager was called over because there was an issue with applying that coupon. The mgr is a very nice helpful friendly lady, who never gives any issues about coupons. Today she was really trying to get to the bottom of everything. I overheard her telling the cashier (young guy) “what do you mean you don’t know, you are the cashier!”. She suspended the transaction, and took everything to her station, where she proceeded to match every coupon to every item. She was giving me grief about the avocados coupons, telling me the coupon said limit 1 per purchase, and I had 4 of those (I purchased 8 avocados), that my fruit me up! Coupon (PDF) was a ‘copy’ etc. She was not being unpleasant, just trying to figure it out, but I just wanted to get the heck out of there. After about 6 minutes she gave up, and asked me if I would shop for her, and to “frame my receipt” with .04 balance. Later I started reviewing the receipt and lo and behold – the guy only entered ONE avocado instead of EIGHT!

This is my predicament: one the one hand, I want to go back, and tell the lady what happened, and I owe them. But, on the other hand, I know that will get the guy in trouble ( and may also make the nice lady feel embarrassed).

What should I do? I would really appreciate everyone’s opinion…

Another angle to this – with just one avocado on the receipt – all four coupons scanned? Or did I miss the guy ma manually entering those – not sure…apologies for the long post…

    • Harry

      8*0.99 – 0.75*8 = $1.92 ( = really really small amount)
In my opinion, If you really have to go, go without the receipt next week (cashier is then not implicated), explain what happened and give them the money for it.

      • IK

        Thanks Harry!

      • Laura D.

Shoprite has the ability to pull up your past receipts using your pp card.

    • Laura D.

First thought, let it go, move on. Like Harry said, if you have to… I’d return 2 avacados to CS and say they didn’t charge me for them, I can’t stay, have to run, didn’t feel like I should keep them. Thank you, goodbye.
I wouldn’t want the receipt pulled up and go through all of that again and possibly get the cashier in trouble for something the FEM should have been able to figure out quickly.
To take care of any leftover guilt, spend $2 and donate the items to charity. 😉 then all is right with the universe again!

      • IK

        thanks Laura!

        • Laura D.

          YW! 🙂

    • MisterBill

Sorry about your problems. Have you checked the coding on the avocado coupon?

      • IK

lol. i don’t have the QSEER. But you just told me what the coding is 🙂

    • Sandy

There was a really beautiful 80 year old cashier who was fired for not checking a cart and scanning a case of water. She had worked there for 6 years and was fired from a job she desperately needed. — It was a simple mistake and I’d let it go. You might just want to tell the cashier next time you see him to be more careful so he doesn’t lose his job. I’ve returned many items and SR kept my manufacturer coupons when they could have easily given them back to me on the spot. It all evens out in the end!

      • IK

        thank you, Sandy!
