Super Bowl Recipe Ideas
Do you have a favorite team for this year’s Super Bowl? Will you be watching the game, the half-time show or just the commercials? I am not sure which gets more hype! Whatever you are watching the Super Bowl for, its a fun day for gatherings and munching on goodies!
The Super Bowl food consumption facts amaze me… Over a billion chicken wings will be eaten! Over a twelve million pizzas! Eight million pounds of guacamole! A few weeks ago, we posted 10 Delicious Game Day Snacks Your Guests will Love which has a bunch of scrumptious recipes. And here are some of the snacks and foods that we have posted on LRWC that would be great for game day.

Black Bean Chili – this is a vegetarian chili but you could add any ground meat if you prefer. It also calls for dried beans so you will have to soak the beans the night before game day.
Chicken Chili Recipe – want a change from a beef and tomato based chili, give this a try:
Turkey Gumbo Soup – this recipe calls for 4 cups of cooked turkey, you can use chicken instead.
Slow Cooker Jambalaya – who doesn’t like a good jambalaya?!
Fat Tuesday Gumbo – spice it up, or keep it mild, either way, this recipe will hit the spot.
