Is this a possible double dip in the Kleenex/Scott/Cottonelle in the ad I spy? Or maybe I’m reading the ad wrong (have not shopped at Shoprite since my work place moved from NJ and no more coupon doubling and more expensive prices in NY).

    • Rocky

Wing! How have you been? Missed you! BTW, when I saw your name in the Comments section, I thought sure there was a broth deal, next week, lol! Awww, sorry you’re not getting good deals, anymore! But, to your comment, not sure about the double dip. Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn’t. I think we have to wait until Sunday.

      • Wing

Been doing alright, loving the fact that I’m back to working standard work hours (instead of crazy 18 hrs a day)! Missed you too! Haha, yes me and my broth! Gotta love those deals. I’m trying to get back into the stockpiling game (my little sis is finally moving into an apartment instead of dorming for college in 3 months, so I need to increase my stockpile). If this becomes double dip, I’m gonna to get to my NY stores even if it’s a bit more pricey.

        • Rocky

          I don’t blame you!!!

        • Yesenia

          what does double dip mean?

          • Wing

Double dip means that while a National Catalina offer is happening, ShopRite might be doing their own Catalina offer as well, so when you bought say 25 dollars worth of goods not only would the $5 National Catalina come out but so would $5 Shoprite’s Catalina offer.

Right now we’re just hoping that this is the case because if so, we’ll get some great deals!

    • Ellen Lightfoot

      should be

    • Dusya

This will not work. According to the post above Tresemme will be calculated on sale price $3.

      • L Kane Rosenwald Downing

Thanks for pointing out. This wasn’t noted on the deal when I posted before.

      • Stephanie

Can somebody explain why this won’t work? In LRWC’s scenario, all the items are calculated on shelf price, so I’m not understanding why Mrs. Downing’s idea won’t work, also. Thank you for any enlightenment anybody can give me. I’ve been couponing for a while, but at times I still get confused.

        • Barbara

Not all items are on Pre Price Plus pricing. The deals were updated to reflect this on Friday. Tresemme, Suave Professionals Gold and Dove hair care are sale prices.

          • Ellen Lightfoot

            Are Q-tips PrePrice or sale?

          • Stephanie

I understand now. Thank you, Barbara!

    • Linda

I did 2 Dove shampoo & conditioner, 2 St Ives body wash & 1 Suave body wash. I used coupons & didital coupons. I did not get a $5.00 cat. It’s futile to argue it at my Shoprite since they will insist I did not spend the $15.00. I have never tried to contact Catalina. Can some one tell me how and if it would work. TIA!

      • Laura D.

        Here you go.
        http://support.catalina.com/

Always make sure that the catalina machine is printing before trying your deals and you get used to your store. Some machines have a green light and still don’t print. Good Luck!

  • Ellen Lightfoot

SRFH from has Hamburger Helper listed as a $1.00 this week of 05/07/17, and Betty Crocker has qs making them free! I add all kinds to stuff to make it good tasting, Mushrooms, cheese, tomatoes

    • Rocky

I wish they had a coupon for the Suddenly Salad,, but, nope!

      • Tara

Rocky, there are peelies on the boxes at my store…one dollar off 2, make sure to check it out at your store!

        • Rocky

Thanks for the heads-up, Tara, I will be sure to check!

  • Ellen Lightfoot

why would I want to accept notifications from PushCrew? They going to pay for my services?

  • Dusya

Yoplait custard 2 free after two 0.25 IP and 1/2 ecoupon, also there is 0.25/1 ecoupon exp 6/03

    • Sherry Z

      Scrumptious!

      • Dusya

        I agree!

    • D

Anyone know if the .25 digital comes off when you buy 2 along with the $1/2 making it a small MM?

      • Dusya

Only one $1/2 ecoupon came off while buying 2. I have both ecoupons loaded, $1/2 and $0.25

        • D

          TY for the reply 🙂

  • Jenna

I just printed the .75 Reynolds Wrap coupon and it says DND. Does anyone know if this coupon will double?

    • Rocky

,I don’t think they double, anymore, unfortunately… I haven’t used one of them in awhile, though.

      • Jenna

I think you are right – the last time I used one, it did NOT say DND but it did not double. Now it is clearly at the top of the coupon. So frustrating…one should not have to take a second mortgage to buy tin foil!

        • Rocky

Hahahahah. I agree! One would think they were made of gold foil, not aluminum!

    • Mark

I used them at Stop and Shop a few weeks ago and they doubled. Awhile back they didn’t double but they do now.

      • Jenna

Thanks Mark, it might be worth a shot through SCO.

        • MisterBill

Check it using the Double Coupon app, or Qseer. It will tell you whether it’s coded to double or not.

          • Jenna

Unfortunately, I don’t have a phone with that capability but thank you for the suggestion.

            • Harry

I checked with the app now and it says it will double….

              • Karen

Staples has the $1 5-pk paper deal this week after coupon and easy rebate (which I have done in the past). Did you say in a recent post that Staples easy rebates website was having issues with online submissions or in sending rebate Visa cards timely? Not worth doing the deal if it’s a hassle. TIA

                • Harry

Its fixed now. Get one HM half case and 1 single HM ream i n a single transaction and use the two respective coupons for the best return (single visa card with larger amount on it). Repeat 3 more times. Remember to NOT create a rebate account (if you do then you will get separate rebate cards one for each rebate but if you submit without then you get a single card for each submission).
Edit: Remember its not the whole week. Its a Sun-Tue only deal.

                  • Karen

Thanks for the info and the heads up that this is a Sun-Tues only deal!

                  • D

I haven’t done the Staples paper rebates in forever but I am running low so…
How does the $1 coupon for the 5 ream box work? Ad says $30.99 – $25.99 rebate for a total of $5 OOP. Rebate will be a $25.99 card so if I use the $1 coupon, does that mean I will be asked to pay $26.99 at register instead of $30.99?

Also, do you need to be a rewards member to do their rebates now? You mention needing a rebate ID number in order to submit the rebate and then said it prob. won’t appear on the store receipt so how is one supposed to get it if it possibly won’t come in the emailed receipt either unless you are a rewards member?

                    • Harry

The half case coupon takes off $4. So 30.99-$4 = 26.99 + tax is what you pay and then get back 25.99 in rebates making it $1 plus tax

No for the 2nd question, just that if you are a rewards member then your email is in the system and when you press ereceipt you should get it automatically…and so that is preferred. If you do not get e and if you do not have the numbers near the bar code, you can still figure it out from the numbers at the top, just that its a bit more painful and may have to look up the order of numbers.

              • Jenna

Thanks Harry. I used the coupon this afternoon and it did double! For me, it is best to use SCO as the cashiers have recently become strict with DND coupons.

                • Rocky

Oh, good to hear, thanks for the update, Jenna!

  • Rocky

    Ecoupons are up!

    • MisterBill

Better than free Phazyme. There are some $2 e-coupons. At least one item is $1.99. There is a $1.50 printable here — http://www.phazyme.com/coupon/

      • Stephanie

Mr. Bill, thank you again for providing the info on exactly where to find a coupon when you post a deal. It is so helpful. I appreciate all you do!

      • Boo Whoo

There’s also a $2 printable on SS. What is the policy on coupons greater than the item value?

        • MisterBill

Generally beeps and the cashier has to push it thru. Having an e-coupon that already made it free may complicate things if whoever has to approve it notices. In any event, I don’t see the coupon on the SS website. I found it in a local ad but when I went to print it, I got the “coupons are no longer in your cart” error. The $1.50 could be easier.

BTW the $2 coupons are supposedly in some SS inserts today, but not in mine.

          • Boo Whoo

Strange, I just printed another set on SS site. I probably won’t be able to use it though cause of beeps.

            • MisterBill

I was just able to find them on the SS website. Oddly, Phazyme wasn’t in the manufacturer list when I checked initially.

        • Ash Patel

at my shoprite coupons over 1.00 deduct at face value of coupon so if coupon is 2.00 it will deduct 2.00 even though price is less than coupon value

          • MisterBill

But the question is what happens if you use a $2 coupon on a $1.99 item. In most cases, they will beep and the cashier will have to either override the rejection, or they may choose to manually enter at the lower amount. Since there is already an e-coupon making the item free, the cashier (or supervisor, if one is called over) may notice that and refuse to let you have a money maker. If you use the $1.50 coupon from their website, it won’t beep and it’s much less likely that the cashier will give you trouble.

            • Boo Whoo

I just checked the SRFH prices for my store and the 180 mg is $1.99 and the 250 mg is $2.99. I plan to use the $1.50 IP on the 180 mg and the $2 IP on the 250 mg along with $2 e-coupons for each to avoid any beeps. This should be a $2.51 moneymaker (towards other items) I believe.

      • Dusya

Was this ecoupon from today? I clipped mine around 7am and do not have it. You mentioned that there are several. Thank you.

        • MisterBill

Yes, 3 $2 e-coupons that came out today, expires 6/24 so all the way at the bottom of the list. I wouldn’t be surprised if they disappeared given that they’re MM (at least 2 of them are).

          • Dusya

Thank you! It would have been nice to offset the cost of the other items, but not this time for me.

            • MisterBill

E-coupons are posted by 12:30am these days (maybe even 12:15), so it’s best to check then. Popular ones do disappear quickly (like the Blink/Complete ones a couple of weeks ago).

              • Dusya

Thank you. The earliest I can get to clip ecoupons is around 7am. I have to be up early for work and I can not stay up until 12:15-12:30am. Not complaining. I usually get a bunch of good ecoupons around 7am, and it is ok to miss some.

              • Geoffrey Gordon

What day are they posted nowadays??? Saturday Am or Sunday AM at 12:30AM???? Thanks.

                • Jenna

                  12:15 – 12:30 Sunday morning.

                • MisterBill

The ones in the ad are posted at 12:30am Friday, because Maryland stores start their sales on Fridays. The “unadvertised” ones are Sunday morning at 12:30am. And I have found that they’re often posted around 12:15am.

      • Karen

        Thanks for posting deal! I bought both today. The 180mg was a $1.50mm = $1.99 – $2 e-cpn auto adjusted down to $1.99 – $1.50 printable (no beeps). The 250mg was a $1.01mm = $2.99 – $2 e-cpn – $2 printable (no beeps).

  • mrsclaire

did anyone else notice the arm & hammer ecoupons and say to themselves, “really??? today???” lol!

    • MisterBill

Timings of these things (start and end) are often not coincidental.

      • Geoffrey Gordon

Yeah but the catalina deal and the newspaper coupons made this deal for 5 items free anyway. Yeah it would have been a moneymaker with ecoupons however let’s not be that greedy. LOL!!!!! I wanted to do this deal twice however the second time most of the items were out of stock and so had to settle for the one.

        • IK

let’s not be that greedy?! what board do you think you are on?! lol 😉 😉 😉

    • Rocky

They do that to me all the time with Angel Soft ecoupons!!!

  • MisterBill

I didn’t mention previously but there’s a new 50c e-coupon for Icelandic Skyr. I still have the Ibotta offer and plenty of 75c coupons and was going to buy more. I never got the $1/ e-coupon that was supposed to expire on 6/1 to work, and in fact when I looked the other day, it was gone from my account.

  • CClark315

Does anyone know if the unadvertised deals posted in 5/14 are this week? I normally wait until I see a post in latest deals and didn’t see one for this week.

    Thanks in advance.

    • MisterBill

I thought they’re usually posted on Monday?

    • Dusya

If you scroll above the comments, it is there as part of the match ups.

  • Dusya

I am wondering about huggies deal spend $40 get 2x$5 catalina coupons. Is this overlapping with the catalina that is listed in may catalina list:

HUGGIES DIAPERS, HUGGIES WIPES, PULL UPS TRAINING PANTS OF GOODNITES UNDERWEAR (JUMBO PACK OR LARGER)
    5/7/17-6/3/17
    Spend $25 + and get $5.00
    Participating Store:
    Kroger (more to come)

Or, is this just for Kroger?
If anyone tried huggies deal can you please share.
    Thank you.

    • MisterBill

I think the thread for the paper deal says that the SR advertised Catalina is the national deal. So no double-dip.

      • Dusya

I believe paper deal spend $25 get $5 and Huggies spend $40 get two $5 are different deals.

    • Diane A.

Does this deal work on shelf price or sale price?

      • Dusya

This deal works on shelf prices. Only two $5 catalinas printed as advertised in the ad.

        • Rocky

          Thanks for the follow-up!

          • Dusya

I forgot to mention that both $2 ecoupons came off for 4 packages of huggies in the same transaction which made it a better deal. I also had $3 IP coupons instead of $2.

  • encoo

I cannot find my original ?, so I’m trying again. Can you still get a SavingStar deposit when you’ve clipped a ShopRite digital coupon for the same item? It’s no longer working for me, even when I clip the SS one first. My email to SS received a response that only one coupon could be redeemed for the same product, so they chose not to give me the SS deposit.

    • Selma

This stopped a few months ago. When you clip the e-coupon to your card, the S* rebate is no longer available to be redeemed through that card unfortunately.

    • MisterBill

It works for some items but not many. Someone here came up with the theory that it’s only Red Plum offers that are the issue. Offers from GM (Betty Crocker, etc) still do seem to work.

    • Laura

I still get credit for both!

      • Rocky

For all offers??? If so, I think you are the only person in the world, lol!!!

  • Dusya

Vaseline 10oz $3.49-3.99 will be free with $2 ecoupon and $2 man coupon.

    • MisterBill

New $1.25 Ibotta offers for some varieties.

      • nick hill

My Ibotta offers are for the larger bottles?

        • MisterBill

          Oops, you’re right.

      • Dusya

        Thank you.

        • MisterBill

False alarm.. see my updated post.

  • Andrea McNamara

I noticed there are Brut, Sure, and Brut/Sure ecoupons this week. So can I get three items in the same transaction?

    • Ash Patel

you would be better off doing 2 transactions because the system will not deduct all three ecoupons at the same time. Idk why but the system is buggy like that.

      • Andrea McNamara

This is basically what I figured. Of course these maneuvers are easier said than done with a 3 year old and 9 month old in tow 🙂 . It takes all the concentration I can muster to make sure everything goes through correctly in the first place

        • Ash Patel

more power to you that is rough

  • Karen

Just a heads up in case you plan to buy brut/sure deodorants in multiple transactions… I planned to do 2 transactions, each with 1 brut and 1 sure deodorant as they would all be free with printables and e-cpns. Didn’t work out… for transaction 1, the system applied brut/sure e-cpn exp 5/20 and sure e-cpn exp 7/29. This left me with 2 brut e-cpns exp 5/20 and 7/29 for trans #2. So Sure in trans #2 was not free. I emailed CS and I’m sure they’ll credit me as the system should have applied the 2 e-cpns with the 5/20 exp date.

  • Boo Whoo

I did the deal the with Tresemme x2 + Suave body wash x2 + St Ives body wash x2 listed in the matchups. Two 0.75 e-coupons deducted for Tresemme. I bought two of the Curls shampoo (black + green bottle, upc ending in 9362). So it came out to $0.98 + tax and I got the $5 OYNO catalina.

    • anon

Thanks for the info. Hopefully, my store will have this variety in stock.

  • Sunil

They changed their policy a couple (or more) months ago. The SR ecoupon and the SS credit are no longer credited together (doesn’t matter which you clip first).

Sometimes they still come off randomly, but you shouldn’t factor receiving a SS credit when using a SR ecoupon in you price calculation anymore.

    Hope this helps.

  • Natalya

Cat food Catalina – CONFIRMED just got my 2*5 cats… well have two cats, got two five dollar Catalina 🙂

    • IK

But no cats for dogs :/

    • Rocky

      Funny!!!

  • Yan

superpretzel digital coupon did not come off for the cinnamon sugar variety. according to virtual pantry, it seems to be coded more so for the stix

    • Lesley

It came off for the cheddar pretzels.

  • Kelly Coolack

I use the Brick Shoprite and noticed that on the shelves the Axe body Wash and Dove men’s products had the tag for the spend $15 get $5 cat. does anyone know if these are working to produce cat or if they were mismarked, the paper says does not include Dove men care products but its been off before

  • America Jones

Hi Friends! Took a break from couponing, now we are almost out of toilet paper, so I’M BACK!!! I hope everyone is enjoying nicer weather!

    • Karen

      Welcome back!

    • Selma

Hi America! Hope you are taking advantage of the awesome Kimberly – Clark cat this week! 🙂 Welcome back.

  • Mary

Hi friends – this may be old news – but I noticed in Shoprite this morning that French’s Spicy Brown mustard was on sale for 1.49 – and it had a peelie on it for 1:00 off. Plus – Checkout 51 has a .75 cent rebate.

  • Karen

Garnier SkinActive makeup cleansing towelettes 25ct UPC 603084292318 on clearance for $2.99 – $2 mfr insert cpn = $.99ea. Please share store location in CT if you find the following items on clearance (per FB group posts): Pure Silk “plumeria” shaving cream with purple top $.99 (free after $.50 insert cpn) and skintimate skin therapy “shea butter” shaving cream $1.49 (mm after $1 insert cpn and C51 $.75). I did not find them in stock in shelton or milford stores. TIA

  • Laura D.

    Hi guys, ecoupons are up!

    • lissa crane

      TY!!!

      • Laura D.

        YW!! 🙂

  • joan

The Lysol Kitchen Spray did not work at my ShopRite. Was charged $2.49 for each instead of the 1.88. Were they wrong or was I wrong?

    • Laura D.

Did you buy 3 as the deal states MB3 (Must Buy 3)

Buy 3 Lysol Kitchen Pro Wipes $1.88 (mb3)
-(2)0.50/1 Lysol Kitchen Pro Wipes or Disinfecting Wipes 35ct +, 4/2 SS, exp. 05/16/2017
-(1)$0.50/1 Lysol Kitchen Pro trigger or wipes 35ct, 5/14 RP (R), exp. 07/11/2017
as low as $0.88 each after coupon wyb 3

      • joan

Yes, I bought 3 of the Lysol Trigger Sprays. I thought maybe the Kitchen sprays were not included. If they were, who do I contact. Thanks for any help. PS I purchased in Mt. Laurel, NJ

        • Laura D.

Call 1-800-SHOPRITE and explain what happened. Make sure the correct price plus number is on your receipt, just in case they mistakenly scanned a different stores loyalty card. They should credit your PP card with the difference. Unless they tell you that particular UPC product isn’t included in the deal. Hopefully, they’ll credit you.

          • joan

Thank you very much for your help and potential solution.

            • Laura D.

You’re welcome, I hope it all goes easily for you.

I called SR, but according to a really nice customer rep, the kitchen one was not included. Oh well. Thanks again for your help.

Oh, so sorry. Hopefully you can make up the lost money with a money maker this coming week. Yw.

I can’t win all of the battles. Customer rep was nice to me. I’ll start working on next week’s purchase. Thanks again Linda for all of your help.

Stonyfield Organic 1/2 gallon milk all varieties are on sale for 4.49 and there is a 1.25 CK51 limit 1 for them making it 3.25 about the same as Costco/BJs organic milk.
Also Lindy’s Italian ice on sale for 1.99 not in the match ups above.

The Lysol Kitchen Spray did not work at my ShopRite. Was charged $2.49 for each instead of the 1.88. Were they wrong or was I wrong?

Unilever $5 Catalina did NOT work. Had to return everything. They told me I didn’t spend $15 but did as posted, even paying $1.50 more because I was missing a coupon.

Not touching those again. Too much work.

When catalinas don’t work, contact catalina marketing. You will need your receipt. They are really good about it. They will send a catalina in the mail with an exp. date that is far enough away that you will have time to use it – even with the mail. They have helped me several times, all without incident. I never bother Shop Rite customer service with catalinas, because they don’t know, and worse, they are rude!

I need some Shop From Home help. I have never shopped from home before. I’m not really supposed to walk til Wednesday (hopefully) and haven’t been able to get anyone to take me to Shop rite in over a week. What do I need to know? Will the discounts I saved on my card or coupons negate any shop from home promotions I might have qualified for? Do I have to pick it up? My husband said he will pick it up for me. He just doesn’t want to be in the store for the time it takes to shop. Thanks for any help.

Never mind. You apparently can’t pick up the same day, so if i shop today, I can’t pick up until tomorrow and then none of today’s prices will work.
