  • Me

Saving star also has this same deal..
Save $4.99 when you buy TWO (2) Right Guard® Xtreme™ Antiperspirant products (excludes Right Guard® Sport)

    • Sandy

Yes but they won’t stack. Better off not clipping S* until you use SR ecoupon. Then for second transaction, clip S* for $4.99 credit assuming S* offer will still be available.

      • Selma

It doesn’t work that way, if you clip the e-coupon and use it, the S* is no longer available on that card to be redeemed.

        • klaral12

Your best chance is to clip S* first and then e-coupon. It mostly worked for me.

          • Selma

That’s never worked for me, unfortunately. 🙁 The only items I get back on S* anymore is the GM offers, otherwise, nothing. I just end up doing a lot of the deals at CVS or sometimes S&S and get the credit.

          • joan

That was a while ago. That system no longer works. Once you clip let’s say a SR digital coupon, the SavingStar will no longer work.

            • Salles Viana Gomes de Magalhae

Suppose I clip a SR digital coupon, can I still clip the SavingStar offer and use it in another store (example: Rite Aid) whose card is linked to the same S* account the SR card is linked to?

        • EMH

That’s good to know, thanks. I tried a second centrum deal a few weeks ago without the e-coupon but I never got credit from S* for it

          • MisterBill

Once clipped, the S* will never work on that card.

        • MisterBill

Is that true? The S* disappears from being able to clip as a result of redeeming the e-coupon and not just because it got to the maximum # of clips?

          • Selma

No no, just meant you can’t redeem it using that card. i.e., once you clip the e-coupon, S* no longer works for that specific card, even if you do another transition without the e-coupon.

          • Sandy

Can you explain this to me as Selma has completely confused me! Was I wrong with my initial comment to “me”?

            • Selma

Sorry, didn’t mean to confuse anyone! Basically what MisterBill said below:

Once clipped, the S* will never work on that card.

        • Sandy

Oh dang. Thanks for enlightening me. Never knew that.

        • klaral12

Just wanted to confirm that I got $4.99 credit from Saving*. Clipped SS first and then ecoupon.

          • MisterBill

            Wow!

          • Karen

Lucky you as it is rare for me when S* and SR digital cpns stack regardless of the clipping order. Out of curiosity – do you use the same email address for both SR and S*?

            • klaral12

Yes same email. I bought one spray and one deodorant.

          • Selma

Interesting! It didn’t work for me, but I did the deal at CVS anyways. 🙂

      • MisterBill

S&S has a $3.50/2 e-coupon today. I’m not sure what their price is but it could be a MM and allow you to use the S*. Their register will automatically deduct the correct amount for the $4.99 coupon.

  • MisterBill

Just a warning that the “$4.99” printable coupon is actually coded as B1G1F (same as the coupon in today’s RP). At Shoprite, the register will prompt for the amount and will complain when the cashier tries to enter $4.99 since it’s more than the price of the single item. I believe it will require a supervisor override to get it to apply.

    • Ash Patel

does the digital come off at 4.99 or does that come off as a b1g1f too?

      • MisterBill

Digital should be $4.99, but it will show up at the top of the receipt and NOT deduct sales tax for those in CT and PA.

        • mel18

Did you or anyone else use the $4.99 digital and did $4.99 come off when you buy two or does it get adjusted down to $3.49? What happens to the RP insert coupon? Cashier needs to enter $3.49?

  • ueen

CVS has better deal. right guard is bogo (50%), get $4ECB wyb 10, digital coupon (3.50/2) and 4.99 S*

    • Ash Patel

where do you see the ecb deal i see the bogo but not the ecb deal?

      • Selma

Page 5! Dial is included as well and I have a BW CRT.

        • Ash Patel

          thank you!!

      • ueen

        lrwc cvs matc up

    • dar

Rite Aid has Right Guard 2/$7.00, the coupon took off $3.50 but I got them to correct it. I got a $1.50 cat good on next order and will get $4.99 from Savingstar.

    • Christine R.

Hi Ueen, did you get the S* rebate even though you used a coupon? I thought they weren’t giving credit anymore.

      • ueen

        🙂 – feel better Christine

    • Karen

Agree CVS looks better than SR. Last time this deal was around, it was a better deal at S&S than SR for me. I think it will be about a $4 mm at S&S. Just curious… Have you tried deal at CVS yet? Deals with cpns have been a bit tricky for me at the registers lately and the RG mfr coupon wording per QSeer differed last time from what was stated on the cpn.

      • ueen

hi Karen – I have not tried it yet. planning on doing it after work tom. I just realized that the 3.50/2 digital coupon actually said ‘manufacturer coupon on card’. i havent shopped in cvs in a while so this baffles me. I just hope this won’t mess up with my 4.99/2 redplum coupon.

        planning on doing this:
        buy 4 right guard 4.49 (bogo)) 13.47
        use 2 4.99/2 q
        pay 3.49
        get $4 ECB
        get 4.99 S*
        = 5.50 MM

        • Karen

Thanks, ueen, for breaking out your cvs deal! I bought 2 RG Xtreme Arctic Fresh at S&S for a $6.48 mm. Reg price $4.29, on sale for $3.50 (plus they’re part of the $5 IS wys $15, which I didn’t do). Deal math: 2 @ $3.50 – $3.50/2 e-cpn – $4.99/2 printable (beeped) = ($1.49) overage at store + $4.99 S* to be received. I’m happy that S&S deal was good as the deals for me at SR and CVS at my stores wouldn’t give me the mm per LRWC and your deals. I learned the hard way in April when this deal was around.

          • ueen

ohhh wow — glad you mentioned this. I didn’t think about SNS.

          • Joy

Think i will try this. I dont have much luck with making money at SR and my S&S is usually more willing. So you did or expect to get the 4.99 from Savingstar? I guess i dont understand …is it the store that controls whether you get it? Or the order saved? I am pretty sure i had the ecoup selected before the S* offer.

            • Karen

I did not receive S* credit yet but it can take 7-10 days for S&S purchases. When I use an e-cpn, I usually receive S* credit for S&S purchases, whereas for SR I usually do not (except for the random offer, mostly General Mills products). YMMV.

          • ueen

thanks karen. I went to sns instead – the IS of $5 is so good to pass — there are eq on dial and rg too. but — i have two more RG coupons so I will def go to cvs today since I have beauty points to complete for a $5 extra ecb

            • Aggi

What deal did you do? Did you get the instant savings along with the ecoupons?

        • Karen

On the RG thread, Selma posted a CVS deal for 2 Dial BW and 2 RG. I did the deal tonight and interestingly 2 mfr cpns came off for the RG – the paper B1G1 insert cpn for $4.99 and $3.50/2 app mfr cpn. Totally unexpected as the CVS LTC mfr cpns never come off for me. So if the app $3.50/2 came off your deal above as well, it would make it a $9 mm!

    • Turntables

Redplum site has $4.99/2 coupons for RG

    • Rocky

Ueen, when you say digital coupon ($3.50/2), do you mean a printable? Or, is it some type of CVS load to card coupon?

      • ueen

hey rocky – pls see my response to karen below

      • nick hill

CVS recently started letting you load manufacturesrs coupons to your card (in the app at least) for one time use just like Walgreens does. I have loaded a few but have yet to test them to see if it is working as it should.

        • Rocky

Ahhh, thanks, nick! I wasn’t aware of that! Someday, I’ll get better at CVS, lol!!!

    • Rocky

Another, sort of, question? At CVS, if they have an item B1G1, can you also use a B1G1 insert coupon?

      • ueen

yes rocky – if the item is b1g1 and you have a b1g1 – you get both free.

        • Rocky

Thanks for the speedy replies, ueen, appreciate it!!!

    • nick hill

I had a $3.50 mm at BigY and will be an $8.49 mm if I get S* credit however, all the Dial rebates state cannot be used with any other coupon so we shall see? (2 at $7/2 minus 2 digital coupons for $4.99/2 & $3.50/2 plus a $3.50 printable manufacturers coupon).

      • ueen

wow thanks. looks like with the buy $15 get $5 instant savings deal at SNS (dial bar soap is included). i’m heading to SnS. lots of choices this week.

  • anon

Have these deals been confirmed? tia

  • Igor

Has anyone else experienced a problem printing Red Plum coupons? I have been getting a “security issue” message on two separate computers, and it wouldn’t let me print. Would appreciate any help with this. TIA

    • Tara

I’m getting the same message right now.

      • Tara
        • Tara

          Tried Chrome and Firefox.

          • Jen

I usually can’t print a second set of the same RP coupons when I reload directly from my browser but if I reload via livingrichwithcoupons I can. Cindy and her team must’ve perforrmed some magic to get the 2nd set to print! Remember that you still need to reload even if you access RP via livingrichwithcoupons.

        • MisterBill

You need to reload the RP page before printing a second time.

        • bilinval

I get this message after printing just one coupon.

    • Pipperroo

Coupon for right guard is on coupons. com

      • MisterBill

Yes, but that’s only $3.50/2. The RP said $4.99/2, even though it was coded as B1G1F.

    • MisterBill

The security issue is likely due to your printer being paused.

    • Jen

I had this issue when I did not attach my (non-wireless) printer to my computer. RP does not allow the coupons to be stored in your print queue.

  • Igor

The SR e-coupon is NLA….that sure went fast…

    • MisterBill

Not really. Freebies often disappear within hours. The RP printable is also NLA.

  • joan

Pantene coupon $4/2 from Red Plum, was that regional? My RP doesn’t have it and the $5/3 in P&G is no longer available.

    • deb

I didn’t have it either but a few weeks back $2/1 was printable from coupons dot com

  • Barbara Ann Ferrari Galek

I just returned from CVS…Bought 4 deodorants $4.49 each they have a promo B1/G1 50% off I used 2 $4.99 off two printables and one B1G1 free coupon from RP7.16 and ended up paying $1.02 for the four. They would not take my second B1G1 free coupon. Received $4.00 ECB. Hope that helps anyone.

    • Rocky

Hi, Barbara Ann, thanks for the update! That is correct, though. Each of the coupons required that you ‘buy 2’. Since you bought 4, only two of the coupons would apply to your purchase. Am glad to hear that you got the ECB, as expected! Hopefully, you were able to also clip the Savingstar offer? I’m going to try this deal, myself, tomorrow!

      • sophie

actually, it looks like she tried to use 4 coupons, but was only able to use 3. cashier must have pushed something through to make that work.

        • Rocky

Oh, yes, sophie, I just re-read it, and didn’t realize it said ‘second’ B1G1 free, thanks! And, ummm…yikes!!!

  • Mark

I know the $4,99/2 printable beeped. Did anyone use the $3.50/2 printable RG yet? Did it beep?

    • MisterBill

It probably beeps because it wants the cashier to enter the price. It’s coded as a B1G1F.

    • Dusya

The $3.50/2 printable does not beep, and ecoupon deducted $4.99 without problem when buying 2.

      • mel18

What did you buy? Two of the $3.49 or $4.99 Right Guards? Wondering what happens to the ecoupon with 2 of the $3.49.

        • Dusya

I bought two $3.49 deodorants and $4.99 ecoupon came off and $3.50/2 printable scanned.

  • Melissa

I loaded the ecoupon for ShopRite and also the s* but have not redeemed ether yet. If I buy the right guard at rite aid will I still get credit from s*

    • Yan

      yes
