I see they are still having issues with clipping some of the digital coupons…. I got most of mine clipped, but can anyone confirm that they are coming off in store?

  • IK

I just sent this thru their website. Feel free to do the same, the more, the better 🙂

As you are aware, there are great lot of people who use digital coupons, and stay up late every Saturday in anticipation of new batch release. I realize Shoprite is aware of the massive blackout that has not been resolved until late Sunday, but would still like to let you know how the customers feel.
People had spend hours and hours this past weekend, hoping to be able to clip the coupons they were interested in.
Eventually, that worked for most by late Sunday – however, by that time, most of the high value offers had disappeared. The most notable ,in my case , was $5/2 Schwarzkopf hair care, and some other popular offers.
As you are probably aware, there are multiple online blogs dedicated to Shoprite, and people are really upset with the slew of recent fiascos, most notable is the failed launch of “downtime dollars” (takes a totally new meaning in light of Sat/Sun incident), and, of course, the Sat/Sun digital mess, and ,of course, the dreaded “yikes! we could not connect” here and there every single Sat night…
    Thank you for listening!

That’s my sister’s favorite too! I have to see if I have a cat coupon for it, thanks Rocky!

      • Rocky

        You’re welcome, Selma! Good luck!

  • Rocky

Oh, look! Another Scott catalina deal! How very…nice…

    • Christine R.

I love it! After 18 years my job is being eliminated at the end of this year (company is cutting down to the bare walls by the end of 2018!) so I’ve been stocking up on paper products for the last 6 months. My thought is to not have to buy any at all for 6 months starting January when I’m unemployed. Thanks to this website I’m not too concerned!

      • IK

sorry to hear that… i may be facing similar situation in the near future. had this been 8-19 years ago – i would have been terrified. now, like you, i think i can weather it…

      • nick hill

So sorry yet you have the right approach. 2 yrs ago my organization merged with another leaving me jobless alter 13 yrs with the company. Not a penny in compensation as I was management and no union protections, and they even fought my UB ( though I prevailed). Amazing thing is, we have not wanted for anything due to this site, have been able to navigate extremely stressful times, and have donated a ton of goods to others who might be in difficult life transitions. Thanks to all the staff, and the comraderie of the incredibly generous members/contributors here we have made it 2 years on half of the income we had before (well, except the usual dream items…Mercedes, a Castle, Swimming pool, etc. 🙂

        • Sherry Z

          Don’t forget the other thing: a Staff…..

          • Rocky

OMG, Yes! A staff! A staff to do all the gazillion things I do every day! That will give me loads more time to do my couponing, which will make me a much happier girl, lol!!!

      • Rocky

That is so lousy… But, I guess, if there is a silver lining, it’s that you have enough advance notice to build up your stockpiles, and, I’d say you are handling it like a pro! I, too, appreciate this website because it has helped my family survive through the hardest periods of our lives. Long term unemployment, medical issue after medical issue, unexpected expenses taking a toll on the money for expected expense, limited, fixed incomes, and, so on and so on. Time after time, we thought, now, things will get better. But, invariably, we get battered, yet again . However, the one thing we never have to worry about is food on the table, along with the necessities of life (and, yes, I consider TP a necessity, lol!) because of the tirelessness of Cindy, her crew and the great community, here (you all have my heartfelt THANKS!). Some days, I swear, this site is all that keeps me going!!!

        • Sherry Z

Three years ago, I got an amazing deal at RiteAid on the best Scott and Charmin paper towns and toilet tissue and still seem to have a lifetime supply… that was beyond amazing ) I should return to RiteAid….

      • Sherry Z

        So sorry (

  • Ellen Lightfoot

Math is incorrect on the first Kimberly Clark Catalinia, LRWC is using the shop rite digi of $1.00 off 3 viva, when deal is to buy 2 viva

  • mbz321

Did anyone see a superpretzel coupon using the first link (redirects to redplum?) Tried a couple different zip codes. I’m maxed out on prints from the second SuperPretzel site link :(.

  • Pipperroo

Friday ecoupons are up and are clipping with no problems.

  • KLM

Can someone briefly explain SavingStar to me? I have Ibotta and Checkout51, but it looks like SavingStar is hooked up directly to my Shoprite Loyalty Card… will that mess up my Shoprite E-coupons? Will both come off? Thanks, any info is appreciated!

    • Selma

Hi! It won’t mess with your e-coupons, but no both won’t come off. This is a relatively newer development, it used to be that you could use the e-coupon and then also get the S* rebate, but not anymore. Some offers, like GM, still work, but others do not. It’s easy, just add your card(s), clip the rebate, and it automatically credits. I have all my store cards linked to it, so I get double dips at CVS and S&S, and sometimes at SR. Good luck!

      • KLM

Thanks so much Selma!! I will clip the rebates!!! Thanks for clearing it up!!!

  • Mark

Hope it’s not a trend with P&G coupons, but the Tide Simply $0.50/1 did not double at Stop and Shop when I used it today. Sure enough checked with the double checker and it’s programmed not to double. I did not see any wording on the coupon about not doubling. Given the recent changes with P&G coupons I’m not surprised.

    • nick hill

I read on another site that indeed, P&G is going to issue all their coupons not doubling (as many others had experienced the same issue with the Tide Simply one). Fact or coupon fiction… not sure yet!

    • Rocky

Oh, brother… Well, if that’s the case, instead of buying only two of their products, I’ll be buying none of their products in the future!!!

    • Yan

my store had signs posted on the registers that the tide simply coupons will NOT double. i also saw a couple ladies with 10+ bottles of tide detergent and told some this other customer that they were extreme couponers; they gave a couple of coupons to them, but wow.

  • Sherry Z

Well, guess what? The ecoupons are not loading for me on my desktop… such as Axe? Nothing happens when I click on them and I have refreshed twice.

    • Sherry Z

Nonr load on my tablet either. Repeat of last week?

      • Laura D.

        Ugh… 🙁

        • nick hill

I never could load several from last week (and they don’t show as clipped in VP) though a few still showing as available until I clip them. CS at corporate absolutely useless unfortunately on this issue.

          • Laura D.

I have that same exact problem on my account. I was able to clip the new ecoupons early this morning though, which was good. 🙂

      • Sandy

I believe those Axe coupons are from last week. I still can’t load them either along with about 10 other from last weeks disaster –

        • Rocky

          Yep, me, too…

        • bilinval

I called on those. I still have 6 that didn’t load. Cust. service checked each one of mine and they ARE loaded. They just don’t have that circle around them to show me they are loaded. I just have to remember.

      • Sherry Z

working on my other desktop now……not on my tablet

        • Bruce

Check again, mine stopped showing after the last refresh 2 minutes aga.

  • Laura D.

Oh, btw, never got a response for the email I sent regarding last weeks ecoupon fiasco.

    • Sherry Z

      Nor did I.

    • IK

Yeah! Was gonna mention that! Not cool! Will wait a few days, and follow up…am good on my iPad tonight…

      • Laura D.

I missed many of the Unilever last week and now I get YIKES!

I loaded one account on the old app on my phone, pc has nothing new, *sigh* .

        • IK

Sorry to hear that…interesting that it varies..I used old app without a hitch…

          • Laura D.

I’ll have to remember that for next week! If I stay up late.

    • Bunch

Same here. No email response and yikes when I try to load the previous week’s unclippable coupons. I guess it is a lost cause by now. Awful mess!

  • Sherry Z

My ShopRite was either out of most of this week’s deals or their prices were so significantly higher that all my efforts were a waste of time. So, I purchased a Pepperidge Farm lemon layer cake to drown my efforts – my dog’s favorite )

    • sandyk

Same here. Out of most all of the deal items. I got quite a few rainchecks but sometimes by the time they get the product back in either my digital or my paper coupons have expired. And you can’t get rainchecks for items that are listed as a percentage off (i.e. 25% off of all centrum).

      • Mark

I was surprised but you can get a rain check when something has a % off. A few weeks ago they had Perdue 40% off. I wanted the Perdue Oven Ready Roaster. They were out. Went to CS and they printed one with the price that was on their system. The rain check was computer generated.

        • Frank

So far my shoprite will do it also, but must be in the add and you have to tell them specifically what product you want

          • sandyk

Thanks Mark and Frank. I haven’t tried this for a little while so hopefully they changed their policy. Will definitely try next time.

    • Frank

Our sale starts Friday now, we’re told because that’s when the trucks come. But by Sat 9am they were out of blueerry chex and apple cinn toast cereal and the cottenelle wipes that are part of the deal. All the cereals on the $1off three they had stacked up. How do you run an add on cereal like that and only have shelf room for 6 boxes which will most likely not be restocked till midweek or after the sale.

  • Sherry Z

Same nonsense as last week. This is irritating.

    • Sherry Z

Most but not all were able to load…..

  • Michelle T.

Just loaded them on the new app. Quite a few good new ones. And new alphabetized format, yay!

  • Bruce

Just loaded new ones on PC. I’m glad I got rain checks for all of the Arm & Hammer products from last week.

  • Pipperroo

Just downloaded ecoupons on tablet everything loaded no problems.

  • Sue J

    Ronzoni supergreen pasta on sale for $1.99 – $1.00 SR Digital – $1.00 CDC = ($.01)

  • B.

Is anyone having a problem getting the E-mail “All the Latest Deals” e-mailed to them from LRWC? I haven’t gotten mine for 3 days now. The last one I got was on Wednesday. I sent them 2 e-mails and no response. Can somebody please help me. Thanks.

    • Melissa Snyder

I haven’t received any LRWC emails since last Wed 🙁 I signed up under a different email last night hoping that I can start receiving them again.

      • B.

Also, I forgot to mention, when I make my list and try to send it to myself, I don’t receive it. It doesn’t go to my e-mail, so I’m forced to just print from the page that comes up. VERY, VERY frustating. If LRWC is having an internal problem, it would be nice if they gave us a heads up, so we don’t think it’s us going crazy. BTW, have you gotten the emails since you signed up under another email?

  • ueen

    • Denise

      Thank you!!

  • bilinval

I got a note the other day from Checkout 51 that if an item is clipped elsewhere, they won’t issue the rebate. Unfort. I still have some clipped on Saving Star that I used at Shoprite. I didn’t realize you can’t claim a rebate on Checkout if you already used it elsewhere.

  • Yan

so no new s* offers. i’m wondering if they’re going to be releasing offers on thursday to coincide with c51….

    • IK

sounds right :(. BTW, i received a response from c51 (which has diff email than my s*) about an offer that shows as limit claimed (RR nutrish dish that i did at s&s last week) – the expected BS that offer cannot be clipped in any other app, etc. Given that i have diff emails for c51 and s*, i replied back saying that i did not have it clipped anywhere else, and asked them to tell me what shows on their side…

      • Frank

Smart, please let us knows the outcome…seems they are sharing information somewhere or just denying thinking noone will call them on it.

        • IK

Received a response from them already, not even sure how to proceed…this is the ‘response’:

          Claude (Checkout 51 Help Desk)
          Aug 13, 14:18 EDT

Thanks for your reply. Apologies if our first response was not clearer.

It appears as though you may have “reserved” this offer on another savings app or website – either by saving, selecting, clipping, claiming, or redeeming – and, as a result, it is no longer available in Checkout 51 to share with you.

Even in cases where the offer hasn’t yet been redeemed for a rebate or cash back value, it is now effectively reserved for use by you on that respective app only. Please keep in mind that different apps and websites use different ways of and terms for “reserving” an offer (clipped, claimed, etc).

We realize this can be a frustrating experience when first encountered. In the future, please keep in mind that this can often happen when several savings sites are used in combination with one another for a particular offer. If an offer cannot be combined, it will be stated in the offer details where it reads: “Cannot use this offer with any other print or in-app coupon.”

          Thanks for your understanding!

          • Frank

Is there anyway they could be using your sr customer number to link the two? Since,as you pointed out, you have two different emails? They sure keep coming up with different ways to make it harder on us. Thanks for sharing.

            • Frank

IK, read the article Chayne references below, these two sites are using email, phone # and computer address to stop people from getting both rebates.

              • IK

Yes, thank you, I did read it…I have successfully double dipped on all RR offers, and am still able to do so, except one- Rr nutrish dish dog food – that is why I can’t make sense of this – it is a SINGLE rebate with this issue…why did other RR offers give me no issue? Not a question anyone can answer 🙂

                • Jenna

Hi IK, could they be using the receipt/transaction number that is printed at the top of all receipts?

                  • IK

hi Jenna. The could…but that still does not explain why they only denied that single rebate for me, while I redeemed 5 others from that same brand on both platforms in the same week…

                    • Jenna

I wish I knew…it will be interesting to see what happens going forward. I understand your frustration. I remember trying to get an answer from S* as to why my card was excluded from P&G offers. We went back and forth three times. Ultimately, I received a response that used way too many words to simply say, “It’s random.” Good luck!

            • IK

store loyalty card would be hard for them to use in my case (that was Stopandshop, and their receipt only displays last four digits, I believe)…something else is at play here, and it is very inconsistent in my case, and this is what bugs me…

        • IK

And to add to that – all I can think of – either S* and c51 share device in addition to email, or the payout preference on both apps (I have the same PayPal acct on both). But what bugs me, I had a bunch of RR nutrish offers redeemed with both app with no issues, and I only have this situation with this particular offer…really weird.

          • Yan

it has to be a glitch or something since i’ve redeemed the offer on my s*, and the c51 offer is still available after the reset. i use the same ip, the same device, the same email address. CS will prob continue to give you BS/copy and paste answers. let us know this thursday if it’s still marked as claimed.

            • IK

i agree this is bs on their part (or at least , i hope it is). the sad thing is i cannot push it, because that may end not being in my favor…

              • Yan

so new offers are up on s* as predicted. this time when i activated my s* offers all the corresponding + all identical offers on both c51 and s* were removed from my c51 account. before s* activation, things like RR dog food, edward pie, puffs tissue were available, but now those offers and the glade offers have disappeared. this happened to the accounts where the c51 emails are not the same as s*, but i am using the same IP address. this is great.

                • IK

as feared… moreover, i had a bunch of RR dog available on C51 this morning (S* redeemed last week). I checked now , and all those EXCEPT ONE – PEAK – (?!) are gone from my C51! I also had a bunch of GLADE offers on C51, after activating S* – they are gone from C51. And I deleted S* app from the tablet that I use C51 on last week, BTW! My emails have always been diff on the two… :(((((( same with Edward’s pie – had it on c51 this morning – now gone! S* for that was activated last week!!!

                  • Harry

matching first and last name plus zip code ?

                    • IK

very possible… seems like they have been tightening the screws relentlessly 🙁

                  • Yan

                    so my offers returned??

                    • IK

Thank you for letting me know!!! Same here 🙂 But what in…?!

  • anon

There is a 55/1 butterball turkey bacon coupon on smart source dot com. hth

    • Jenna

Thanks so much. I was unable to print at the Butterball site but had no problems at SS.

    • Sandy

That’s for 12 oz. – Only the 6 oz. is on sale for .99

  • anon

Has anyone purchased 3 cans of Blue Diamond Almonds in the same order and have BOTH the $1/1 & $2/2 e coupons come off? tia

  • Kim

Not sure if anyone commented about it and I can’t find it in the list above. The 4 day sale, Scotties. Any coupons on that?
I remember seeing a coupon, just can’t seem to find it. Anyone know about a coupon for the Scotties. Plus there’s an Ibotta for them.
    TIA 🙂

  • B.

Is anyone getting their LRWC e-mail list of the “LATEST DEALS FOR ?” I haven’t gotten my daily list since last Wednesday. I e-mailed them 2 x’s any no response. Also, when I make my weekly store lists, it won’t e-mail it to me when I try to send it to myself. I tried to go into my account and “update” my preferences, but that hasn’t helped either. Please respond if anyone else is having this same issue, so I know it’s not just me going crazy (LOL). Thanks

    • JESSI G

I cant email mine either.. I also sent them an email.. so it has to be a site issue

      • B.

I just got an e-mail from them a few minutes ago, and yes, they were having issues. Looks like it’s cleared up… keep your fingers crossed…LOL

  • lisa

a few ecoupons on shoprite facebook that aren’t on the shoprite website. nothing free, just some $1 off.

  • lisa

looks like they fixed the problems with downtime dollars. just earned $3 to load to card.

  • Trina

Tide coupon not doubling. But the cashier put it in manually for me. So I guess they dont double no more.

    • Selma

Yeah someone posted lower that the coupon did not double for them either; when you scan it with the app, it doesn’t double anymore. Annoying. Guess I’ll only buy it when they release the $1/1 as opposed to the .50/1. P&G is getting more and more lame.

  • anon

Has anyone purchased 3 cans of Blue Diamond Almonds in the same order and have BOTH the $1/1 & $2/2 e coupons come off? tia

    • Cathy

Yes, I bought 3 cans, 2 different varieties and the 2$/2 and $1 eqs came off. It usually works for me as long as you do not buy all the same variety.

    • Alexis

Yes, I bought 3 cans and both e coupons came off!

  • Karen

General question… I got a raincheck last weekend with my SRFH order. I didn’t look at it until the next day. It was for the regular price, with no PP discount. Is there anything I can do about it now? I have already emailed SR and sent a Facebook message, and so far, no response.

    • IK

when you are in store next time, show it to them, and reason that they do not give rainchecks on regularly priced items.

  • Yan

i used the 8/13 ss arnold bread coupons (dnd) and they automatically doubled unlike the 6/11 inserts which didn’t double a couple of weeks ago

    • meg

found 55 cent peelies on the rolls, and those doubled, too

    • Rocky

      Thanks for the update, Yan!

  • joan

ShopRite’s Downtime has started. They must have resolved their problems.
