OT, but did bettycrocker do away with weekly coupons?

  • MisterBill

The Tic Tac Ibotta offers have disappeared. I finally bought it today, but I got the Halloween variety for $1, which wasn’t on Ibotta anyway and was a 29c MM plus my 50c coupon.

  • MisterBill

So, Arla cream cheese is FINALLY on sale this week ($2.20, listed above), after most have redeemed the S*. Fortunately, I had one S* account that I had not bought it on yet, so I was pleasantly surprised to find it on sale. Should be a 59c MM. The S* is valid thru Sunday. Also bought it at SR, where the free e-coupon expires today.

  • Karen

The LRWC deal posted for buying 3 neutrogena bars as part of the “buy 3/get 300 gas points” offer was better at the store today. I bought 3 bars for $2.98 and received 300 gas pts/$6. 3 @ $1.99 sale – $2.99 (reg price) cdc printable buy 2/get 1 free = $2.98 + $6 gas. No beeps at SCO. The matching S&S digital did not come off.

Ronzoni pasta on sale $.69. Bought 3 boxes for $.19 each after ibotta rebate for $.50/box, up to 3 per receipt.

The DH Perfect Size cake freebie digital worked on the brownie mix variety. But it only deducted $2.50 off the $2.99 regular price even though the digital had a max value of $3.49 and was reported to come off at $3.49 earlier in the sale week. Check your printables stash… Small mm as I had a cdc printable exp 12/31/17 (NLA; didn’t double).

    • IK

      We missed you, Karen 🙂

      • Karen

        :). Life interrupted, lol.

    • Yan

i bought the duncan hines banana bread variety and it only deducted $2.50 versus the $2.99 shelf price. i emailed giant and got a call (which i let it go to voicemail because it was from a 1-855 number) that said they put a $3 credit onto my card because of the inconvenience

      • Karen

        Thanks, Yan!

      • pww

could you tell me Giant an e-mail ?

        • Yan

          giantfoodstores . com /contact-us/

    • LD

thanks – did you scan card last? wondering if the IP would auto-deduct $2.99 if you scan card last

      • Karen

Yes, scanned card last at SCO and $2.99 was deducted for printable (no beeps).

    • John

Hi Karen. Thanks for the great heads up on the Neutrogeba deal! Question – should the gas points automatically show on my receipt? The receipt only shows I earned 12 points and the only other item I purchased was the Prego Farmers Market sauce. I did have one manufacturers coupon and I believe the digital also came off.

    • D

Got the DH Perfect Size freebie on the final day and was expecting it to only deduct $2.50 like others were reporting but I bought the Cinnamon Coffee Cake and it took off the full $2.99 purchase price. Plus, I had the $.75 printable that dnd so a $.75 MM.

I also got the Halloween colored Tic Tacs which were on sale for $1 & digital deducted $1.29 plus I used the $.50 coupon for a $.79 mm.

  • Harry

Nibmor offers are back on ibotta. Even if you have exhausted them last time, they are back again now. And they continue on Ck51 as well. Making for 1 or 2 free/MM rebates.

    • IK

interesting. i have two offers for the 3.0 oz – one .75, one .25, and one for the 1.0 oz – .25…

      • Harry

Actually I looked at the amounts only now, yes I got the same as you – they wont be MMs like last time, but will certainly help to get bonuses if you are close. Since I am using ibotta very less for the past 2 months, my offer now is $3 on 5 rebates!

        • IK

wow, 5 rebates :), mine is 15. May I ask how often have you been using in in the past month or so? TIA

          • Harry

My ibotta story so far this year….From a $35+ monthly average from start of 2017 to 0 in July (vacation), 60+ in Aug(result of frustration at having missed out on the several deals during vacation + lots of similar easy bonuses), $15 in Sept and then $5 so far in Oct (I was too busy getting up to speed on the bank account/CC bonuses game).

The bottom line is that when ibotta starts missing you, the best bonuses do come out within a couple weeks. From my analysis, I think you will not get these really good bonuses if you are doing about $5 to $10 a week or it may be the rebate count as well…a week or two with 3 or less rebates redeemed opens up the “good bonuses”. I am still trying to figure this out better….

            • IK

Thank you! the only problem i have is that it’s probably not worth it to skip the MM to achieve lower bonus requirements…

    • Turntables

I only have $0.25 back for the 1 oz bars.

  • Lesley

I have a digital coupon for save $5 when you spend $15 or more. How does this work with coupons? I’ve never had a good one like this before. Normally $5 off $50. Thanks in advance!

    • total must be met after digital for sure – and depending on the register paper Q’s They only ever give me stuff like $6/$150 so I couldn’t tell u with certainty cause i never spend that much at once

      • Lesley

Thank you! I am planning on buying two Progresso organic soup and two Pillsbury cookies for the save $4 when you buy 4 deal. I’ll probably pick up a package of boneless chicken just in case the $5 off $15 comes off.

      • Lesley

My transaction last night worked very well. I bought four items (two Progresso organic soup and two Pillsbury cookies) for $10 for the General Mills buy 4 save $4 (which came off as a SC) and I also bought $1 Snapple bottle, Purex detergent, and sesame oil that was around $7.50. I had $5 in digital coupons come off (two $1 for the soup, two $1 for the cookies even though they were both $1/2, and $1 for the Purex). I used $4 in paper coupons. The $5 off $15 purchase came off as well. Total was $2 and change. Plus, I got back $0.50 from Ibotta for the Snapple and I will get back $1 from S* for the Progresso organic soup.

    • Yan

i used one this week at my giants food store; my total was $15 and some change after digital coupons and IS. gave them my card, the $5/15 got deducted along with all the digitals; used paper coupons and total was less than a dollar. i don’t know how IS plays a part in it nor how digitals affect it either so i decided it play it safe

  • Turntables

Is anyone getting the Fiber One catalinas from S&S or Giant?

  • Karen

New B1G1 Breyer’s Delight pint, max $5.49 – matching printable at cdc and S&S digital.

    • MisterBill

Beat me to it! Here’s the link for the IP – coupons.com/?cid=20030134

It might be on sale at S&S.. I recall seeing it in the front case. Is this stuff any good?

      • IK

i thought it was not too bad for this kind of ‘ice cream’, everybody else said it was clay-like…

    • 4.99 reg. price i was just there 🙂

    • Lesley

How will this work together? I normally go to self-checkout. Thanks for your help!

      • IK

should get two free. dont forget to scan your card last.

        • Lesley

Yes, thank you! I haven’t used a BOGO at self-checkout before. Does it automatically take off the max. amount or does it depend on the coupon?

          • Karen

I find it usually automatically takes off the pre-bonus buy savings up to the max $ for paper coupons. Unless the coupon is a beeper. Not sure if value credited for digital cpn is pre- or post-best buy savings.

          • IK

the paper either works and takes off max, or it beeps… the digital USUALLY takes off actual price …

  • Karen

OEP blue taco shells were $.51mm = $2.49 regular price – $.75 digital exp 11/14 – $.75 printable + $.75 S*. There was a mail-in rebate form pad on store shelf for refund of purchase price. But I just noticed form says not valid in CT, RI, ND or Miami Dade county.

LRWC deal for Betty Crocker brownie mix – there is also a $.50 digital exp 10/12 so it was $.25mm today = $1.25 sale – $.50/1 printable from Betty Crocker website – $.50/1 digital.

The freebie digital (max $1.25) for Tic Tacs actually credited the full price of $1.29, so it was $.50mm after SS $.50 printable.

    • MisterBill

The taco shells were $1.79 last week. There’s also a $1/2 e-coupon that came off when buying two that was discussed then. The BC 50c coupon is NLA.

      • LD

My store had the OEP blue as part of this week’s $10/10 sale. Bought 4 and had 2 eqs come off – the $0.75/1 as well as a $1/2 OEP.

        • MisterBill

Lucky you! But did the coupons double?

          • LD

            Yes!

  • MisterBill

    I got a 50c/2 “Best” e-coupon for Ronzoni today. There’s a 50c Ibotta offer, limit 3. It’s on sale for 69c, buy 2 and it’s a MM.

    • Lesley

I got that, too. Does the sale price end today? I redeemed the Ibotta offer twice now at ShopRite. Hopefully it’ll come back. Also, there is a $1 bonus when you buy three non-GMO products (indicated with a small butterfly near the picture on the rebate). Ronzoni is listed under this category.
