CVS Coupon Policy Updated

Have I mentioned how much I LOVE CVS?  In case you might have missed it, I truly do.  So, coupon friendly….love it!

And, now they have updated their Coupon Policy based on feedback from you and others.  They understand that many couponers are looking for more explicit clarification around coupon acceptance as it pertains to BOGO deals. So, they have updated the official guidelines on CVS.com to help clear up any confusion.

So, here is how the Coupon Policy now reads pertaining to BOGO Coupons:

Buy One, Get One Free Coupons

• Sales tax must be paid for any Buy One, Get One Free coupon offer, if required by applicable state laws.
• Two coupons may be used on a Buy One, Get One Free promotion as long as it does not exceed the item total

Ex. Suave Shampoo is on sale for $2.00 Buy One, Get One Free and the customer is purchasing two shampoos; customer may use two coupons for $1.00 each and pay the applicable tax.

• Buy One, Get One Free promotions may be combined with Buy One, Get One Free Coupons. Customers are responsible for paying applicable tax

Ex. Suave Shampoo is on sale for $2.00 BOGO and customer has a MFG coupon for Suave BOGO. Customer will receive both items for free but will need to pay any applicable tax.

New Right Guard Coupon

There is a new Right Guard Coupon available.  The coupon is for $1 off any 2 Right Guard Total Defense 5 deodorant, body wash or bar.

There is suppose to be a monthly deal for Right Guard Deodorant at CVS.  The deal is Buy 2 Right Guard Deodorant and get a $2 ECB (limit 2).  I have not confirmed this yet but you might want to check it out on your next trip to CVS. Just look for shelf tags announcing the deal.

Also, there have been reports of select Right Guard Total Defense products on clearance for up to 75% off so be sure to look for that.  Hopefully the Total Defense 5 is included and we can use our coupons with the deal.

I’ll be heading there later to check it out.  Please let us know if you find this at your CVS.

Here is another possible freebie at CVS.  There is a Tom’s of Maine Extra Care Bucks deal for Buy a Tom’s of Maine Deodorant, Toothpaste or Mouthwash for $3.99 and get a $3 ECB with a limit of 2.

Well, one of my CVS stores had the Tom’s of Maine Mouthwash, 16 oz on clearance for $2.99 so free after the $3 ECB.  The other CVS was not on clearance and priced at the advertised price of $3.99.  So be sure to price check them even if they are not marked.

There is an unusual Extra Care Bucks deal at CVS this week.  The deal is for Skintimate & Schick Hydro Products.  Here is the deal info:

No that is not a typo.  At least not for me it’s not.  The sign does say Limit 100 per Household.  And, I did try the deal 3 times and it has not hit a limit on the bottom of my receipt yet.

Now, if that was not enough,  The Schick Hydro Shave Gel and the Skintimate Shave Cream are priced around $4.19 each.  So, that is only $0.19 a piece.  But, make sure to check the cans because I found $2/1 coupons on both the Schick and the Skintimate at my CVS.

New Skinny Cow Ice Cream Coupon

There is a new Skinny Cow Ice Cream Coupon available.  The coupon is for $1 off any Skinny cow Low Fat Ice Cream Product.  In order to print your coupon, you will have to write a Resolution on the Skinny Cow Resolution Wall.  Once you do, look to the upper left for the link to print your coupon.  You do not have to have it post to your facebook wall.  I didn’t and I was still able to print the coupon.
