  • Hi Cindy! At Shop Rite the savings this week were great! purchased 6 purex @ $1.99 each = $11.94 – (3) $1 coupons = $8.94 – $5.00 catalina for purex offer = $3.94 – $5 ECB previous wk = money maker for me!
Also used the Renuzit air freshener buy 2 get 1 free at same time … saved another $1.00 added to the money maker … turned that money around and went to Walmart to get the Swiffer STarter kit… I did not have Swiffer until this point. 24 hours later LOVE swiffer. I had $2 Swiffer coupon, so starter kit was less than $1.00 ……days adventure was still a money maker for me! Both stores are within 3 miles of my house… so even calculations of gas. CAN’T BEAT THAT!! thanks for your hard work!! Any public extreme couponing seminars in my area soon? central jersey!! Thanks Cindy! Lorraine

  • Hello Cindy, I usually follow your deal transactions you post on the stores deals. They are great and save me a bunch of time. My weekly routine is Sunday morning. Cvs and Walgreen, follow by Pathmark and Shoprite. I save an average of $200.00 a week in groceries. Thank again!!!

  • Thanks so much for all of your matchups. Since I started following your site in January, I have saved over $2,500! And I have the most well stocked pantry and toiletry closet ever.

  • Thanks Cindy for a wonderful site! Since January I’ve enjoyed about 36% savings – $756, w/only $1334 cash out of pocket. Yahoo!

  • My first week saved 28%. Off to a good start. my best deals (which are still there) at shoprite were the tetley tea 100 count regularly $3.19 on sale for $2.49. I had a $.65 coupon which doubled to $1.30 so I only paid $1.19 for the box. Also the Keebler Chips Delux regularly $2.99 on sale for $2.29. I had a coupon for $.75 which doubled to $1.50 so I paid $.79 for the box. Cant wait to get better at this.

  • I had 14 B1 36ct G1 20 ct or less free Platex tampon coupons. Target has a deal this week, buy three 36 ct at $6.99 each and get a $5 gift card. The coupon has a maximum value of $6.99, but the 20ct was only $4.19 each. I had them ring up three 36ct and three 20ct in one order and it took of the maximum of $6.99 for all three coupons, making the order total $12.97 for six boxes. On the next order, I used my $5 gift card, so that it was 7.97 for the next six boxes, and so forth. I had to buy one extra 36ct count to get the $5 gift card for my last order, using the remaining two coupons. I got 29 boxes for < $39 and I still have a $5 GC left over! average price was $1.35 a box. PS. All of these are being sent to my adopted Soldier to distribute to her fellow Female Troops serving in the Middle East!

    • Kat, how did you go about adopting a soldier? I would like to do something like that in addition to working with interim homekexs shelter here in NJ. Can you email me info please? Thanks. My email is ezeforme@gmail.com

  • Hi Cindy, I was following another blog and using couponmom.com for about a year now, but I found your site last week, and in just 1 shopping trip to Stop n shop I saved a much bigger percentage than ever before. I will be following you from now on. Thanks for your hard work, your site is laid out really nice and you have the most accurate and up to date links I have seen over other bloggers. Even some of the postings from your readers are so helpful, I am already for next week and have not finished this weeks shopping trips yet.

  • Hi, I LOVE your site!! It’s my coupon bible!! Today I took advantage of the Kettle Cooked Potato Chips at Walgreens. Just wanted to let everyone know that they are marked at 2/$6 but they ring up at 2/$4 and with the $1/1 they were $1 a bag. Bought 6 wanted 12 but with summer right around the corner lol. Thanks for all the money you save me!!

  • I just saved $85.74 today (CVS/walgreens) , love the website!!! My total oop was 17.98! (walgreens – 6.38, cvs-11.60) and I got lots of good stuff :)

  • Hi Cindy,
thanks again for all. I have literally saved at least 1/2-3/4 of what I used to spend at the supermarket each week. I can usually get out of shoprite with less than $50 per week. Here is a nice score yesterday for your readers who go to Shoprite. I go to one that doubles up to .99 fully.
Fisher boy fishsticks- my kids love these

Fisher Boy-.99 with free tortillas (got the large size @2.49 in the ethnic section) x1
Fisher boy .99 with free produce- (got 2 eggplants- for 2 dinners!) x 2
    4 milky way bars @.69 w .75 off 2 qs=4 free!
    Purely potatos 30oz size: $3-$1 srq, -$1q=$1 each x2!
Solo deal is great- paper dinner plates =1.34 x 4- $3 cat:.59 eachx4 and no qs!
    Hefty garbage bags 1.34- .55 dc= .24 x 1!
1 silk and fruit quart 2.79-$1 sr q plus $1/1q=.79!
    12 yoplaits .50 -3 x.65 dc/4 plus $1 srq plus saving star= nearly free
    1 sylvania lightbulb 75 watt .99- $1 q= free
    6 yo crunch yogurts w qs=.23 each
    8 popsicle boxes @.88 w $1/2 x 4=.38 each!
4 12pk diet coke caffeine free $8.88 (this was a raincheck from prev wk), used a cat-$5=3.88 for 4 cases!
    good deals with out qs:
clearance produce: .87 for 3lbs tomatoes
.75 for 2 lbs baby carrots
    $1 bread
    $1 hot dog rolls
    $1 hamburger rolls
    .49/lb banannas
    1.99 lb strawberries
    2 dole salad kits 2/$4
    1 lb turkey 3.99
    1 gal milk 3.49
    steamable bag sr veggies $1 x 2
    1.49 cheese slices
So I spent something around $50 for a typical shopping trip.

  • My receipts keep getting longer and my OOP gets smaller! Thanks for all you do.

  • I just wanted to let you know that following your advice I went to Stop & Shop and before coupons and stop & shop card my total was $134.24 after my Stop and Shop card and coupons my total was 47.69! I had a total of $86.89 in savings!! Thanks for all the deals

  • Absolutely love the stop and shop match-ups they are fantastic I recorded my savings and it’s been a LOT of saving! Thanks so much for your site and my four kids thank you since there is always food and drink in the house now.

  • I have saved so much since swithing to following your site. Since January, I have saved more the $4,500 on food, toiletries and diapers. I have cut my spending by an average of 60%! Thanks so much for all of your hard work with matchups!

  • I saved $11.80 this week and posted the items on my blog – dedivahdeals.wordpress.com.

    Thanks for all you do!

  • Hi Cindy,

I love your website! My shopRite triples up to 50 cents and I needed some freezer bags. They were on sale for $1.34 and with my 50 cents coupon I got them for 24 cents. I also found the Scott’s Natural wipes for $1.99 thanks to you and got them for 49 cents each. I was very happy! Thank you so much!

  • I have saved $894.68 thos year so far at Shoprite, and I am not sure how much else at KMart and Target and Rite Aid. THANK YOU.

  • Well, hopefully my savings doesn’t throw off the counter…
I finally finished entering my spending/savings from March to now on my spreadsheet. I’ve had a bag accumulating of receipts for a few months, and it turns out that it sat there another month. After school was over for the year, I thought I had more time to get it all entered before my son was born. After an unexpected admission to the hospital/induction of baby 2 weeks early, he is now 3 weeks old, and I’m finally getting to this task of emptying the bag of receipts.

Total saved on my shopping trips: $2,649.84 (which on a rough calculation of total spent, is actually a little more than 50%.) Considering that we had to buy a whole bunch of newborn baby clothes unexpectedly, and preemie diapers too, I’m happy with how much I’ve saved so far!!!

    THANK YOU!

  • I just did a quick trip to WalMart and saved $46.72 on my pectin’s and other household items before all my coupons my total was $49.58. So in the end my OOP was a whooping $2.86

  • Thank you for all that you do.

  • Maybe a dumb question, but are the savings listed just what we save in coupons and cats or do we count the difference between regular and sale price too? Thanks!

  • I have only been couponing a few months and have found it a daunting, but rewarding task. My best trip yet was on 12/11/12 to Wal-Mart. With price matching and coupons I saved appx 47%. It is difficult to do this here as there is NO Stop & shop, Rite Aid, Shop Rite, Krogers, Fry’s or any other store that either doubles coupons or offers store loyalty cards. I have to shop EVERY ad that comes in the paper, match deals as best I can and then shop and try to save as much as possible. I am not sure I will be able to save over 50%, but I will not quit until I get as close to 80% as possible. I did make one trip to Dollar Tree where I purchased 4 items and left paying $0.17 in tax, and have the receipt taped to my desk. I could use any and all guidance you can give me.
Also, when making the bulk purchases of items such as Cheez-Its, crackers, chips, or cereals, how do you stockpile those without them going stale before they are eaten. Odd how all of them start with the letter “C”! I am just a little CDO – That is OCD with all the letters in Alpha Order. LOL

  • Thankyou-
My Shop Rite Savings this Year totaled $6008.65. I did this because of LRWC. I have a great Stockpile but not Obnoxious – I was able to buy and try new items and I have alot new Favorites.
The fun days are when the store Basically Give Items away- I still think my favorite was back in March when Snaple /Lipton made you buy 10 for $10 then gave you a Cat for $10 then you ran back and got another 10 FREE. Over and Over again. Words cannot Begin to Show you how Grateful I am to you and your Staff.
Many thanks and Looking forward to 2013 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Shari Fitzgerald
    P.S. Stop and Shop – I saved about $1000 ……………..Thanks Again

  • Cindy!

you helped make 2012 the best year ever! Between Shoprite, Stop n Shop, CVS, and Walgreens I was able to save well over $10,000 and I have inspired so many peole to read your site every day!!! Best part with the savings is that I started Couponing February 27th! I’m very excited to see what 2013 will bring, I plan on breaking that 10k and saving even more!

thanks again and have a Happy New Year!!

  • Hi Cindy,
Thanks so much for your wonderful website! My question is how do you define total savings? For example, my last trip to ShopRite had a total bill of $245. After my discount card (-$35) and coupons (-$29) my total bill was $181. To me, that’s a savings of $64. But at the bottom of the receipt, it shows a total savings of $118. What number should I use to calculate my savings? (I am brand new at this and actually find the ShopRite receipt to be very confusing, but that’s another question!)
Many thanks and Happy New Year!

    Cindy,
While at the Dollar Tree today I came across a deal on the Nivea Lip Balm in tubes. They were available in Strawberry and Cherry. I used the Nivea $3.00 off 2 I couldn’t help but use 9 coupons. Also while there after I finished my transaction the cashier was told they will NOT be taking anymore of the Edwards or Mrs. Smith’s pie coupons, his reasoning for that was the slice’s are not a full pie. I used 9 of those. They also had 4.0oz Colgate toothpaste used only one of the 50 cent off for that and I used 2 of the toothbrush coupons for .50 off 1. While there I came across Soft Soap bars and used 2 .75 coupons on those and bought 1 bar of the Oil of Olay bar soap my total before all my coupons was $34.68 after all of the coupons my total OOP was $3.68! Just thought I would share the finds at the Deptford Crossings Store in Deptford New Jersey. Thanks for all your help and tips
    Joyce

  • Today I went to Walgreens on my lunch hour and had a great trip! Bought 2 Purex detergent, 2 Pantene shampoos, 1 Pantene conditioner, 10 Power Bars, Slim Fast Snack Bars (5 ct), 6 Renuzit air fresheners and two Right Guard Extreme. Did 4 transactions and ended up with $80 worth of items for $25 – AND…..came home with 3 “catalinas” for Balance Rewards customers that are “save $10 wyb $35″ for next week at Walgreens! Technically, I got paid $5 to shop today! Then I came home and had a whole box of free samples waiting for me!
