ShopSavvy App – Susan writes “I just switched from a Blackberry to an Android based phone and I have been playing with some of the cool apps.  We needed toner at work for our printer.  I scanned the UPC code (from the old box) and found out that Amazon was selling the toner for approx $45 each.  Walmart was slightly more.  I logged onto Staples.com because I had a $25 off $75 coupon and a $5 off coupon.  They also had a rebate of $20 on the toner, if you purchased two.  However, their price was just under $68 each!  So I got onto an online chat with a Staples rep, and they priced matched Amazon, still took my two coupons, and I can get the rebate!  In the end, I got two toner cartridges delivered the next day for $45!!!!!  LOVE the ShopSavvy app and also Staples customer service was truly great!”

Emmi Swiss Yogurt – My new favorite yogurt is Emmi Swiss Yogurt. Besides the fact that it’s been free, which always makes everything taste that much better, it has a nice consistency.  Sometimes the Greek Yogurts are a little much for me but this ones is somewhere in between a regular yogurt and a Greek yogurt.   And, like I said, free makes it taste delicious

Finally he was sent to Guantanamo Bay to guard the Taliban prisoners for a period of six months. If that werent a good enough reason, on Sept 11 2005 my husband and I became parents and welcomed our first baby, and again on Sept 10th 2010 (the little guy couldnt wait to get out);) we welcomed our fourth baby. My Crock Pot - Once the weather starts to cool, I break out the Crock Pot! It honestly doesn’t get much easier then throwing everything into a pot and flipping a switch.  I’m all for making things simple in my life.

I love my Grandma Anna who just turned 96 years old on Monday.  She was born on Sept 12, 1915.  It’s amazing to think the things she has seen.  She often told me of times, during the Great Depression, when she went to the bank with her mother (my great grandmother) to find that half of their money was gone.  Can you imagine that?  I surely can’t.

Farmers Markets – I LOVE going to the Farmer’s Market. Every week I head over and pick up a new batch of goodies.   The prices are just awesome.  I can get all kids of fruits and veggies for under $20.  And, the best part is, the one by me is an indoor market and open all year round.
