I sit in front of this computer typing away deals and I often wonder if anyone is listening. Is anyone getting any great deals? Is anyone saving money? Or am I just typing aimlessly?
Then I get an email like this one from a reader, Amanda. Now Amanda’s pretty busy running a business with her husband, check out her site here, taking care of her kiddos and trying to save a penny here or there. She sent me this email and I just loved it so I thought I would share…
I just had to share! And only another coupon lover would truly appreciate this story : ) Tonight I went to Publix (we are in Florida and this is the main grocery we have here) which does not double coupons but does accept competitor coupons and each week offers various items Buy One, Get One free (they will also allow you to use 2 coupons on these items – bonus!) Soooo…drum roll please…I took your advice about stocking up, used all the competitor and manufacturer coupons I could find and had a final bill of $71.82 after $90.23 in savings! I am so pumped! Thank you so much for your inspiration and affirmation. It’s fun to share and to learn from each other.
And just to show my craziness, Huggies wipes were on sale at a great price but I couldn’t find a coupon so I passed…will keep looking for one.
