I had a very smooth shopping trip this weekend, stayed under budget and got a lot of stuff. So, I’d have to say it was much better then last weekends nightmare of a trip. The only thing I messed up was that I forgot to use the $10 catalina I had for Pathmark and a $10 visa gift card I got for a Kellogg’s rebate. But, I still have it and I still stayed under even without it.
My first trip was to Pathmark this week. I was using coupons that required a minimum purchase amount and I was having trouble getting up to it as some of the items I wanted were out of stock. But I filled in with some discounted fruit and I made it. My total was $16.06 for $42.94 worth of groceries. And, I still have the $10 catalina left to spend next week.
Then I went to ShopRite were I scored big. You know I did the Pantene, Proctor & Gamble deal and it worked like a charm. Scored on more cheap, cheap Smart Ones, got my Free 1/2 gallon of chocolate milk and more. Here I spent $45.87 for $169.22 worth of groceries.
So for the week I spent: $61.93 for $212.16 worth of groceries. And, I still have the $10 catalina at Pathmark, a $10 visa gift card, a $5 catalina from ShopRite (Pantene) & I’m submitting for the $10 Go For The Gold rebate. And just to let you know, the rebate IS printing out like a catalina.
How did you do this week with your grocery budget?
