Shopping Trip: ShopRite

Such a beautiful day today that I didn’t fell like being in the store. But, I did run in because I wanted to pick up some of the Free MultiGrain Cheerios. And, I got the last 3 boxes.  You can see from the crushed tops of the boxes that I didn’t have much to choose from.  I also scored a great deal on the Kikkoman from a nice tip that reader Megan left in the comments of the Kikkoman post (Thanks Megan!).

The deal is a catalina deal and it might only be working on the Teriyaki. I bought four, 2 Teriyaki and 2 soy sauce and only received 1 $0.75 catalina.  I’m not sure how long this is going on so you might want to check the shelf tag to be sure it’s still available.  Here is what I scored today:

3 boxes MultiGrain Cheerios $1.49 each
2 Fiber One Chewy Bars $1.99 each
2 Nature Valley Granola bars $2.50 each
2 Kikkoman Soy Sauce $1.99 each
2 Kikkoman Teriyaki Sauce $1.99 each
ShopRite Olive Oil $3.99 (manager’s special)

-(3)$0.75/1 Cheerios
-(2)$0.50/1 Fiber One Chewy Bars
-$0.50/1 Fiber One Cellfire coupon
-(2)FREE Nature Valley ($2.50 each deducted)**
-(2)BOGO Kikkoman ($1.99 each deducted)
-$3.00 catalina
Paid: $4.42
Received a $2.50 catalina (fiber one/nature valley) & a $0.75 catalina (kikkoman)

**I know your eyes raced down here to see about those Free coupons.  I know you guys all too well :).  Well, if you remember that blogging conference I went to a few weeks ago. I was able to score some coupons for free products which I am going to be sharing with you guys.  So, watch for a sweet giveaway this week where I will be giving away a bunch of coupons.  Coupons for free stuff, yay!

Well working on deals & clipping coupons to score free & cheap groceries works up an appetite. So I do a pretty good job of eating it all up. 🙂

But, we do give a bunch to our church, food pantry, food drives, etc. That is the beauty of using coupons. You can save yourself a ton of money and be able to give to others. It’s a wonderful thing!

You are too funny. You really do know us…I really did look right away to see about those free coupons!!
Today I was up in the Brick shoprite and there was a bin with a newspaper clipping and a sign about a family of 8 who had their house burn down. Who ever put up the bin was looking for donations. Well, anyway it was the perfect place to donate the free Peter Pan peanut butter, etc They were out of the Multi grain cheerios otherwise I would have shared some, too. I never have a problem finding places to give my extra stuff… The need this year is especially great for school supplies.
