Note: Reader Rachel purchased the 120 ct sandwich bags which are priced at $3.49.  For every 5 that she bought, she received a discount of $9.46 off the 5.  That would put the 120 ct at the same price as buying one of the 30 ct that is on sale so you might want to check that out as well when you are there.

Also note: This catalina is printing at Acme as well and I’d bet that it is printing at many other grocery stores.

(Thanks Rachel, Ruth & Jamie!)

Not sure how ShopRite works, but Meijer also has this catalina promotion and I was able to get about 50 pks of Ziploc bags so far. I have regular, freezer, slider, and vacuum sealed. All different sizes. I was also about to get about 50 Ziploc containers. These catalinas rolled at Meijer and they had coupons on display. They were coupon books worth $30.

Went to Shoprite today. Had already done the 10 Ziploc Sandwich Bags deal mentioned by Rachel, and after Coupons, Price Plus and the Catalinas back, they averaged out to .38 cents a box, which I thought was great!
Decided to go back to see if I could do a similar deal with the Ziploc EZ Zip Slider Gallon and Quart size Bags, which were on sale for $2.10 a box. Bought 3 of the Gallon size and 3 of the Quart Size. I had 2 coupons for $1.50/2, and 2 coupons for $1.00/1. I discovered that for every 2 boxes of Ziploc EZ Zip Slider boxes you buy, you got a deduction of $1.20 from Price Plus. So 6 boxes @ $2.10=$12.60, minus $3.60 in Price Plus savings, plus.63 cents tax, minus $5.00 in coupons=$4.63. I got back two $2.00 Catalinas, so $4.63-$4.00=.63 or .11 cents per box.
I decided to go back and use some more Ziploc coupons I had. Did the same sizes (Quart and Gallon) as it seemed to work for both. Bought 10 boxes @ $2.10=$21.00. This time I used 5 $1.50/2 coupons. So $21.00 minus $7.50 in coupons, plus $1.14 in tax, minus $4.80 in Price Plus savings ($1.20 off every two you buy, but only up to four apparently, or 8 boxes as only $4.80 came off)=$9.84. I then got back 3 $2.00 Catalinas. So $9.84-$6.00=$3.84, making it an average of .38 cents per box during this transaction. I only just realized that the second transaction the price plus only came off x 4. I thought since two different varieties it would work for all the boxes, but apparently not. Still a great deal, but wishing I had that extra $1.20 off! So if you do the deal with just 8 boxes using $1.50/2, the average would be .35 cents a box, and 6 boxes using $1.50/2 (I lucked out before by having two $1/1 coupon on hand), it would be an average of .19 cents a box.
So my 16 box average was .28 per box, still a GREAT DEAL. Your results may vary…lol!

Nice, but I think if you do separate transactions, you can save more. 😛

The deal for Ziploc 120 bags 5 for $7.98 is offered periodically. This week the $2.00 catalina will print also when you buy these bags so that is another bonus.
An update on the Krusteaz pancake/belgian waffle deal, only one $1.00 catalina is printing instead of 2, I guess they fixed their mistake. It is still a great deal and the catalina ends on 10/2 and I think the 1.49 price also ends on 10/2.
