NJ Happenings This Weekend: Christmas Day Crossing Reenactment, Sea of Lights, and a Kwanzaa Festival!

For New Jersey Residents:  Here are some free and/or inexpensive family activities for this weekend.

  • Saturday, 12/25: The Christmas Day Crossing Reenactment at the Washington Crossing State Park in Titusville.  At 1pm watch the annual reenactment of George Washington’s famous Christmas Night crossing of the Delaware River. This event is free. Click here to find out more.
  • Sunday, 12/26: Sea of Lights at the Jenkinson’s Aquarium in Pt. Pleasant Beach. From 6 to 8pm enjoy the indoor holiday light spectacular and make a craft.  Admission is $6.00. Click here to find out more.
  • Sunday, 12/26: Kwanzaa Festival with Queen Nor at the Garden State Discovery Museum in Cherry Hill.  At 1pm experience the symbols and principles of Kwanzaa with interactive storytelling and song. Free with admission ($10.95).  Click here for more information.
