Stop & Shop: Kellogg’s Instant Savings Cereal Deal

Stop & Shop: Kellogg’s Instant Savings Cereal Deal

Did you take advantage of the General Mills Instant Savings Deal at Stop & Shop this week?  I did and, as a matter of fact, I did my last run today and got 2 Wheaties Fuel and 2 Cheerios.  Paid, $1.74 and received at Catalina for a free milk.  So happy!

But, guess what…starting tomorrow, Stop & Shop has the same deal but with Kellogg’s Cereal.  Woot!

Again, the deal is Buy 4 Kellogg’s Cereal and get a $6 instant savings at the register and get a catalina for a Free Gallon of Milk.  And, yes, you can freeze a gallon of milk.  You will just need to take out some of the milk so it doesn’t explode.  Not like I know that from experience or anything. 😉

And, to top this deal off even more, it’s Dollar Doublers this week.  These will be in your mailed Stop & Shop circulars only.  You will not be able to get them at the store.  There are 3 Dollar Doubler coupons available.

Since, it’s the end of the month, I wanted to be sure you were able to get your coupons printed before they disappear or reset.  So, here is a list of coupons you can use.  At this time, I don’t know pricing of the cereal.  But as soon as I do, I will post up some deals.

Here are the coupons:

$1/2 Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes Cereal printable
$1/2 Kellogg’s Raisin Bran, Raisin Bran Crunch or Raisin Bran Extra Cereal, exp. 7/24/11 (RP 06/12/11)

I hope I actually get my stop and shop ad in the mail this week. I get the thursday ads maybe half of the time. My mailman is terrible and I guess he just doesn’t bother delivering them the rest of the time.

  • christine

I just started with stop & shop.

Please explain what dollar doublers are and how to get them.
I do have a store card, is it linked to that??

    • Anonymous

they are coupons in the circular that you use in conjuction with your current coupons to double the $1 coupon to $2 which ends up giving you a good deal and you can use all 3 in the same transaction so it can give you great savings especially with this deal…probably close to free cereal! if not free…

      • christine

Only 3 per checkout? Are there more coupons in the store flyers so you can use again later in the week?

        • Liz

The doublers are never in the store – only in the mail.

  • Ja’Net

I cannot wait to do my first shopping trip at Stop and Shop! I have been getting the circular for about a month now, but never had i time or money to go! so now I see how well i do with my coupons. Please pray for me!! LOL

  • jahna

I never get stop and shop mailers, is there a way to get them mailed to u????

  • Anonymous

My circular said “up to $4 off your next milk purchase” for the Kellogg’s deal..wondering if they are changing it now. Also, the cat I received yesterday beeped and cashier had to manually take off $3.29, where in the past, the entire $4.50 was deducted.

  • Dawn

@ Jahna……If you don’t get the circular, you could try going to your local paper and buying as many copies as you like of that particular day. I do this sometimes when the doublers come out so I can get more than three. Hope that helps =)

  • Susann

The 0.70/1 Kellogg’s Raisin Bran bricks coupon has reset!!!

  • Shannon

I got my ad yesterday and there are no dollar doublers 🙁 (I am in CT)

    • sam

I am in CT as well, and no dollar doubles. I was so bummed!

How do you freeze milk? We are going away for a few weeks and want to know some details about this. You freeze it, thaw it out and how long after its thawed do you need to use it by?
Thanks so much for the match ups and the constant looking; i send everyone I know here when they ask me “how do you…?’

    • Cindy

You have to empty some of the milk out so when it expands from freezing, it won’t burst. Trust me, you don’t want that to happen 🙂 I just put it in the fridge for a day and it defrosts. Then I just use it as I usually do. I don’t really pay attention to how long it lasts after that because it’s usually gone in a few days.

      • Ueen

We transfer the milk in the big “canning” jar.

  • Nicole

I have a question about the milk CAT. Do I have to use it with Stop and Shop brand milk or I can use it to buy other brands of milk? And Does it has to be a gallon size or I can do 2 half gallon? Please let me know if you know how exactly it works. Thank you so much.

    • Jessica

You can use it on any size any brand of milk up to $4.5o.

  • LisaCT

I used a recycle bag and that credit of -0.5 added the $6 instantly back in. Watch for this. I went right to the courtesy desk and got my $6 after the cashier would not do anything about it.

  • m-l

RI here and no dollar doublers 🙁

  • Jennifer

Can we use a BOGO coupon with the 4 cereals we have to purchase?? I have one for Frosted Mini Wheats.

  • Jess

    No doublers here in CT…:-(

  • Lady J

Does anyone have any good cereal scenarios? I would just be buying cereal to get a discount on milk. Or, in other words, I have to buy milk anyway – might as well get some free cereal.

    • Joan

At my Stop & Shop (Freehold) the 15oz box of Raisin Bran is $3.39. This is what I did.

      4 – Raisin Bran (15oz) – $3.39
      Subtotal: $13.56

      coupons (& instant savings):
      $6 instant savings
      (4) .70/1 Raisin Bran
      Total deducted: $11.60

      Paid: $1.96
      Received: free milk cat

      • Lady J

Thanks so much. Great to know that I can get some discounted milk. $1.96 for milk ain’t bad. And 4 boxes of cereal will help someone.

  • nancy

Also, I am in NH area and my circular ( which is mailed to me) had no double your dollar coupons in it. Mom’s didn’t either. Don’t they send them to everyone, or only at random?
