  • G

I love these posts. Thank you so much!

  • Brennan

Now this is what I’m talking about!

  • Trish

there’s a $2/1 gillette body wash in the 5/15rp as well can’t we use that with the BOGO body wash and bogo deodrant?

    • Cindy

You can read why you can’t use both coupons here. http://www.livingrichwithcoupons.com/2011/06/walgreens-gillette-double-dip.html

      • April

I have BO deodorant GO Body Wash Free coupons from the Pampers booklets. These are not coded with a “14” that I can tell. They are “5 37000 22701 9”. I also have $2.00 off deodorant coupons. Technically, can I use both since I’m not using the BOGO from the 6/5 P&G?

  • Barbara A

I went to 2 Walgreen’s and neither one had the Omega Smart Super Critical Ultimate Fish Oils 30 ct. They didn’t have a display or even a place on the shelf. Are other people finding it?

    • ueen

Yes after a thorough detective work. lol. JK.
I found them on the very top shelf where the power bars are located.

      • Michelle

My Wags has been putting these by the register with a big green sign that says FREE with the small print. HTH

  • Mattie

Thanks for all you do….really helps when I go to the store and know what I am going to get…really cool.

Is the omega fish oils coupon in this Sunday paper??

  • lacey12

Our area did not get an Sobe drinks…)-: But the had the other 2 freebies. There are also a few other good (not great) deals in the flyer. For me it is a good way to use some of my RRs. A few examples: M&Ms 2/$5 (less $1 coupon in the June book) less $1.50/2 coupon, Welches 100% juice 2/$3.00 use .75/1, old spice body wash & deord….B1G1 1/2O + coupons from today’s p&g B1G1F, Pringles extra tall can 3/$4 + $1/3 coupon…..

  • Lisa

I went to 3 stores and 2 of them had the Gillette Deoderants priced at 4.99 so I was nervous to try to the deal, finally at my 3rd walgreens they were priced at $5.49.

Has anyone received the RR with the deoderants that are priced $4.99?

    • Dawn

if a deal doesn’t work, just return the items, you’ll get you’re money back…

  • Lauren

Just so everyone can keep an eye out…my wal greens had a tooonnnn of stuff on clearance or “marked down” with the orange stickers. Alot of it was in the personal care aisle. I got sally hansen nail polish for .09 with the coupon. It was marked down to 1.09. I figure its a good way to use the coupons if something is expiring and its marked down.

  • CouponNista

Thanks so much this is fabulous!!!

  • Fran

My Walgreen’s says that a register rewards counts as a manufacturer’s coupon so I can’t use it if I already have a coupon for whatever I’m buying. In other words, if I buy 4 items and I have a coupon for each of those items, I can’t also use my register rewards. Is that correct?

    • chrissy

sadly yes it is. just go find something thats really cheap in the clearence section, that will usually do the trick

      • missdona

My favorite filler item is a Lindt chocolate truffle or a toffee <$0.39

  • RPH

Where’s the Omega $2/1 coupon from? I can’t seem to find it anywhere…?

  • thalia

where do you find the 2.50 reach coupon?

  • Jessica Smith

I don’t quite understand the point of the fillers?

    • Dawn

fillers; I’m confused too. I nuderstand needing 5 itmes for 5 cpns, (if one is RR) BUT…if the filler is a very sm amt of money, Does the balance of the RR come off the rest of the trans (knida like overage)
      Ex 4 items $1.00 ea, 4 clipped cpns @ 0.50 each + 1 RR @ $2.oo.
      $4.00 – $2.00 cpns (can’t use yet)
I get 1 lindt truffle at 0.39 so my trans becomes
      5 items totalling $4.39 – $4.00 ttl cpns and the OOP = 0.39 (+ tax)
Is that correct? thanks for your teaching and patience!

    • Perry

You need them because Walgreens only allows 1 coupon per item. A lot of times, if you use rr’s, you will have more coupons than items.

  • Fran

Can the register rewards value be greater than the “filler” item? Because I tried to use a $2 RR for a package of paper that was $1.99 and they wouldn’t let me use it.

  • April

Ok so I read the tutorial, and I found the fish oil coupon.
    http://www.omegasmartfishoils.com/coupon.pdf (ugh, pdf coupons)

My ultimate goal here is cheap Gillette Fusion refills. So let me see if I have this right, I can’t use the RR I get from trans #2 to get them because it’s the same company, but if I get as far as trans #3 I will get ~$17 in RR that I can then use to purchase the refills… oh wait, I would need 4 filler items right? Since I’m using 5 RR? Then I get $10 back because I purchased $30 Gillette?

Yeesh. Maybe this is above my paygrade. 🙂 I may just go in and try #1 and #2, and then contemplate #3 for later in the week. 🙂

    • Jenifir

Where’s the “tutorial” you mention? I’d really like to read it!

  • Margie

I’m confused. How does that fish oil coupon work. Won’t it print out the same number?

  • Jeannie

Thank You SO much for walking us through each transaction! I am grateful for this website & all of the help and information. I have always wanted to learn how to get things for free or next to nothing but in would get frustrated and give up:(
I can see by my finding your website that I will learn and one day teach others the way you taught me.

  • Krista

I’m so upset! I went to my Walgreens to buy the Gilette deal but a RR didn’t print out! I don’t get what I did wrong?

    • ueen

What did you purchase and what are their cost? I am asking because some were posting that their stores have gillete deodorant for 4.99/4.79 and not 5.49.

  • Desiree

I was wondering where if the Nivea coupon you are referring to is the $2/1 nivea body lotion. If not can you let me know exactly what date and what coupon it is? Thanks.

  • elvira

just wondering Has this method worked for all of you so far? Getting ready to go try it !!

  • Layne

I went to my local Walgreens and did Transaction #2. I had the exact items and the exact coupons but the $10 rr did not print. The manager told me that the system would not print the $10 RR because my the $30 Gillette requirement was after coupons/discounts etc.

    • Barbara A

I did transaction #2 and I did get the 2 rewards. The deodorants were priced higher ($5.79) at my store and they only subtracted $4.99 the maximum coupon amount. Still a good deal though a lot of taxes. Layne, look at how much your deodorants were. Maybe that is why I got the rewards.

  • Sobe

I went to try this deal today, transaction by transaction. IT DIDN’T WORK! I did get all my RR but ended up paying 48.03 OOP and took home 38 RR which upsets me because I have 3 BIG RR and exactly those are the ones that gave me trouble. I couldn’t use my $10 Omega RR neither was I able to use a $10 RR I got from last week’s Calcium deal, (was trying to use in trans. #1) register kept saying that the coupon couldn’t be applied to my purchased because it was more than item; here my total was still $36.07. The manager hates me so she said she would not just force the machine to take it, that it is what it is. Long story short, I ended up using all my small RR because register wont take the big ones. Also, my Walgreen’s doesn’t carry SoBe’s (and Sobe is my name, lol). Oh, to replace the Sobes which were fillers I also got 2 Sally Hansen nail polish on sale for 1.09 ea and used 1 Q for $1/2, One Naked juice, regular priced, 2 Progresso soup on sale $1.69 and also got 3 Rembrandt toothpaste, on sale $4.99 and used 3 $2/1 catalinas I had from previous purchase of one Rembrandt mouthwash (they all printed even before i paid, right after they were scanned). I started with 17 RR from last week.

  • Roxy

I have a question, is that true that the BOGO coupon counts like 2 manufactures coupon? last nite I went to Walgreens to get the Gillete deal and also few more things but the thing was that I had 11 products total and 8 manufactures coupon so I wanted to use 3 RR I had for previous purchases so it make it even, 11 products, 11 manufacturer coupon, but the cashier told me she can take my RR because the BOGO coupon counts like 2 manufacturer coupons, I didn’t want to fight for that but I want to make sure is that true, can someone help me please, thank you…

    • Sobe

I dont think that is true at all. I had not problem using my BOGO Q’s and RR’s together. That is not something she can just do. Next time just ask for a manager. If the RR was beeping then that is another situation.

      • roxy

thank you Sobe, next time I’ll call the manager, hopefully he can help me..

    • Ueen

Per my experience with the Gillete deal. The BOGO Q counted as 2. It is not the cashier that is making this rule, it is what the machine is stating.

  • Sobe

Just a FYI. I think if you use the RR first it will work, by I was reading in other blogs, that is what people are saying. I also did that in the 3rd transaction and had no problem using 2 $10 RR.

  • elvira

So i tried it transcation one worked.. the deoroants were 4.99 so didnt get my gillete $10 RR

    TOTAL PAID – $ 22.62
    TOTAL SAVED – $123.56
    RECEIVED RR = $ 20.00 OMEGA SUPER FISH OIL, $10.00 + $ 5.00 GILLETTE, $1.98 SOBE, $3.00 REACH, $2.00 NIVEA = TOTAL$ 41.98
    MONEY MAKER – $19.36

    • roxy

How many transactions did you make?

  • Kierstin

The Gillette products in my Walgreens (there are 3 by me) are completely cleared out. I’m not extremely familiar with Walgreens but does anyone know how well the tend to re-stock? I know it varies from store to store & I asked one of the cashiers but he wasn’t sure…I think he was new. I’ll be pretty bummed if I miss out on this deal.

  • kristinak

Hi I my walgreens ran out of the fish oil so i started with the second trans and got the gillette prods. i got the following:

    1 razor = 9.49
    2 deodorants = 5.49 each
    2 bodywash = 4.99
before coupons it totals = 30.45

the 5 RR for the razor printed, my 10 RR for the $30 in prod never printed. i went to the manager and he said the reward is for final purchase amount after coupons. I’m pretty sure this punk is wrong. I purchased $30 worth of product, I didn’t pay $30 cause i used my coupons.

What can I do to get my $10 RR? Please help!!

    • April

      I’m right there with you.

      I went and purchased

      1 Gillette Fusion Razor Refills 4pk $15.99
2 16oz Gillette Cool Wave Body Wash $4.49
      1 120z Hydrating Body Wash $4.49
1 Gillette Cool Wave Deodorant $4.99

      Before coupons $34.45.

I used BO Deoderant / GO Body Wash (Pampers Booklet)
$1 off Deoderant (P&G Brand Saver)
BOGO Body Wash (P&G Brand Saver)

Nothing printed so I asked and she said it was because I got two of the body washes for free, so they didn’t count. I checked the tags to make sure the Cool Wave was included, the only thing I can think of is I grabbed a refill that wasn’t included? Turns out I got the wrong ones for my husbands razor anyway, so we’re going to exchange them. I’ll check again when I’m there to see if I did something wrong.
