CVS Update on Accepting Internet Printed Coupons

Lately there have been a lot of readers that have expressed frustration over the use of internet printed coupons at CVS.  Some people have said they will not take SmartSource internet printed coupons and some have even said that they will not take ANY internet printed coupons.

I decided it was time for me to contact CVS directly.  CVS is in the process of putting to get a Coupon Policy however, I was told, from a very reliable source,  that CVS/pharmacy accepts manufacturer’s coupons, including Smart Source coupons, that have been obtained from an approved Web site sponsored by the manufacturer, as long as the coupon is complete and contains a bar code that can be scanned at the register.  Bricks coupons, which is the printing technology powered by Coupons.com, are also included in this.

If you have had or are having an issue at your store, please email me at [email protected].  Let me know the following:

  1. The store you had the problem with (city & state)
  2. Who in the store you spoke with (ie. manager, cashier)
  3. What you were told (i.e, not accepting smartsource coupons, not accepting IP coupons, etc.)

This information will be forwarded onto CVS for them to look into it further.
