I just got back from trying Foodtown in Lake Hiawatha, NJ. Big sign on the entrance stated “do not accept internet coupons.” That rules out the Coffee-mate deal. Since I was there, I thought I might as well get Brillo. The customer service person took me and what started as $1.79 became $2.39 with the $0.55 coupon and tax. I started to reason with this person that the coupon should take off.. but was interrupted with “the coupon says do not double.” I guess this person added the %0.55 to the cost in an effort to stop the coupon from doubling. I told her politely that I did not want it, retrieved my coupon and left! Foodtowns near me do not accept internet coupons and are NOT coupon friendly. Does ANYONE know of one that accepts internet coupons?
