National Pet Wellness Month Gift Basket Giveaway

October is National Pet Wellness Month which focuses on educating families about wellness exams and disease prevention for all of our pets. Having our pets live a long and healthy life is a goal for all pet owners.

This giveaway is for our cat owners (sorry to all of Bogo’s doggie friends).  In celebration of National Pet Wellness Month, Hill’s Science Diet has teamed up with Today Show pet contributor Wendy Diamond to provide the latest and greatest products to ensure your older cat is living a healthy and happy life.  Hill’s Science Diet is offering to 2 of our readers a “senior” cat goodie basket.  Now mind you, cats at age 11 are considered seniors kitties.  The basket is valued at $40 and includes:

  • Hill’s® Science Diet® Senior 11+ Age Defying™ Dry Cat Food – This cat food contains breakthrough nutrition that has been specially formulated with an exclusive blend of antioxidants and fatty acids to visibly fight the effects of aging in cats 11+ in just 30 days.
  • Cat Collar – Just like people, a beautiful accessory can make a cat appear younger than they are – and this colorful collar will make any senior cat look like they’re six again.
  • Bristle Finishing Brush for Cats –  This brush is a complimentary component by helping to distribute oils and stimulate skin to help maintain healthy skin and fur.
  • Petkin Extra Gentle Pet Wipes – A shiny, clean coat can take ages off of a senior cat. Each of these wipes is pre-moistened with gentle cleansers, conditioners, and deodorizers to keep fur looking young and healthy.
  • Fuzzy Balls Cat Toys – Watch as your cat return to their kitty days by chasing around these fun, fuzzy balls.
  • Feather Cat Teaser – This feather teaser will keep cats alert and agile.

Here is an interesting fact sheet that all cat owners should read:  Wendy Diamond’s Tips for Keeping a Senior Cat Feeling Young. (download pdf file)

Also you can visit Hill’s website and take “The Cat Age Quiz”.  It will let you know how old your cat actually feels and at the end you will receive a $3 coupon for Hill’s Science Diet Senior 11+ Age Defying Dry Cat Food.

The thing that my cat does that make me laugh is when I buy a chicken sandwich from Burger King, she always comes over and sits next to me and stares until I give her a piece. She doesn’t meow or get in my lap, just stares me down until I give in!! 🙂

  2. Michele S says:

My two cats would love this!
Boogie makes me laugh bc she is like a little “guard cat”, follows me to the front door on the way out and is there when I get home.

Mario makes me laugh lately with her new sleeping habits, under the couch, I get such a kick out of seeing those little furry paws sticking out just so.

    Thanks for the fun giveaway!

Our cat, Tiger, is hysterical! He absolutely loves feet! LOL! Whenever we are sitting on the couch at night, with no shoes on, he’ll come over, flop on his side, and begin rubbing our feet with his head and purring, with an occasional nibble of the toes!! 🙂

  7. Bethany says:

My cat loves any bread-type foods. She begs for garlic croutons, cheese crackers, and once I made the mistake of leaving banana-nut muffins on the counter overnight, and woke up to find that she had eaten part of one!

  8. Nicole M says:

the thing about my cat Fred that makes me laugh is when he hides and attacks the dog. We call them Garfield and Odie. Fred is fat like Garfield and my dog is like Odie. Another thing Fred did a few years ago when I had my 3rd child I was gone for 2 days in the hospital and when I came in the door he did a double take and ran up to me. It was funny to see his face when he realized I was back. Love my old man!

My cat, Bardo just can’t decide which of my kids he wants to sleep next too- Gavin is 5 and Mia is 3 and Bardo (who is 10) sleeps for awhile with one of them, then jumps up and goes into the other room, sleeps awhile with the other one and back and forth- too funny!

  13. Bernette Todd says:

My husband has started calling one of our cats the vulture because every time we eat she has her eyes glued to the food.
Love watching them play together they are so funny, last night I was in the garden and touched something that looked like mint but didn’t smell like it, when I came in they all went nuts, eventually let them all have a small leaf, some rolled on it others chewed it and then they all eventually just had a nap, it really was funny.

  14. Kathy says:

I have 3 cats, but the one that cracks me up the most is my male orange tabby. He rolls himself up and one of his back legs attacks him. It’s so funny because it’s like his leg has a mind of it’s own. He tries to move his head out of the way and bite the leg. It’s really comical.

  15. Joan Garrison says:

I have two cats a male and female. Pusspuss (male) like to chase Thea around the house. She will jump up into the kitty tree to try and get away from him. He will try and get her from the level below and she will knock him out of the tree. She is small but feisty.

  16. Michele Meyer says:

Our cat (Peanut Butter) came to us on the 4th of July as a stray and she makes us laugh by chasing her tail and playing with her cat nip mouse.
Thanks for the contest and the chance to win
    Michele

  17. katie says:

My cat is almost as old as my children. He is toothless, losing his site, and generally showing his age. He is still however, king of the house, with the other two cats and two German Shepherds bowing to his commands. It is comical to watch him saunter into a room as all the pets pay strict attention.

  18. Jessica R. says:

Our cat Murphy plays with my 2 1/2 year old outside and will do sneak attacks on him….it’s cute to see the 2 of them running back and forth chasing after one another.

  19. Valerie says:

My cat Sylvester is nearly 15 years old and is so protective of me. He can sense if someone he doesn’t like pulling in the driveway, he will run to the door and “growl”! And when I don’t get up when my alarm goes off, he’ll look at the alarm clock, look at me, then gently tap his front paw on my face to let me know it’s time :). And if he thinks I’m ignoring him (really just working on my computer), he’ll grab my hand (or arm) and gently hold it down with his paw and just stare straight into my eyes, as if he’s saying “pay attention to me!”…lol. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is, I just love him!

  20. Bailey Martin says:

My Naomi will be 15 in January, and she’s definately slowing down. But, one thing she will NEVER give up on is getting her treats! If she thinks we’re being a little slow today with the cat treats, wet food, or bites of tuna or chicken, she will literally be a step in front of us everywhere we go, “yelling” at us, to make sure we know she is not happy with us! It makes us laugh so much! My husband and her actually have conversations like “MEOWWW!” “Can you hang on a second until I finish this?” “YEEEEOOOWWWW!” “Ok, just one second, please?” “REOWWWWWWW!” “Okay, okay, I’m going!” “Purrrrrrr….” LOL!

  21. theresa says:

One of the things that my cat does to make me laugh, is to try to get into the refrigerator! One day I got something in the fridge, turned and shut the door…a few minutes later I heard meowing and could not figure out where she was! Looking all over for her I finally heard the meowing getting louder in the kitchen when I opened the fridge door to find her sitting next to the gallon of milk! 🙂

  22. Beverly says:

My cat Cookie would sooo love this. She makes me laugh when she runs after the laser light or a flashlight. It’s hysterical. She’ll even try to climb up the wall to get it.

  23. Michele says:

I have 5 cats (down from 7). Benson the youngest loves wood or things grown in the ground. One day we were cutting carrots for soup. We turned our backs for one minute and he jumped in the pot with the carrots.

  24. Dawn U says:

We have had very amusing cats! Jimmy was our “babysitter” watching any other critters we have had and carinf for them, including hamsters and guinea pigs.

Max would “knock” on the front door to be let in and out of the house

Buddy would fetch things we would throw and then put in in your shoe.

Maggie and Chelsea our our current cats. Maggie always walks with her tail flipped backwards on her back, she also stands on her back legs and bats in the air with her front paws. Chelsea always makes sure she and her sister are fed by standing on our kitchen isalnd and yelling at anyone around her until she is fed.

  25. My 15 year old little girl can hear me pour my breakfast cereal amile away. She sits by my side whle I eat and her look says eat faster I am waiting for your milk. She will pat me to try and make me eat faster.Even try and pull the spoon down to her. When she really can’t wait she trys to stick her little mitten paw in my dish. She always gets her milk in the end that I feed her out of my spoon.

  26. Joe says:

When my cat Loki is alone sleeping on the bed, he lays on his back with his front paws curled. While he sleeps, he flails this front paws a bit. Being all black with white paws, it looks like he’s shadow boxing while he’s sleeping.

  27. Diane says:

We have 4, 2 are just 1 yr old. Jasper is nuts! He will stalk the others until one will play with him. They run around the house for 20 min, turning everything upside down. Don’t get in their way, they will just run right over you!

  28. Diana K says:

I have 3 rescue cats. They make me laugh when they chase each other around the house at top speed, bouncing off walls and furniture. They’re all also a riot when I give them catnip!

  29. Katherine Steinbiss says:

My cats make me laugh when I am changing the sheets on the bed they jump up on them and under them, so I will continue to make the beds and they will lie there like I dont see them. Then when you try to get them out they will move to the other side and lay back down. LOL!

  30. Tiffany says:

My cat is a climber and hunter will climb anything for a fly, evn do a back flip while catching flys!

  31. Codi King says:

My cat is the hockey player of the house. He likes to take his food, or the dog food, out of the bowl and smack it around the floor. That is funny enough in its own but now my 7 month old son will sit on the floor next to Jax (the cat) and try to smack the food around too! And he laughs hysterically everytime he actually manages to hit a piece of food. I was so worried about how Jax would handle the baby and he’s been awesome and a good little mess maker teacher!

  32. Jo Ann R says:

My Siamese is a Hurricane Katrina Rescue which I had flown from Louisiana to New Jersey where I had lived at the time. He always makes me laugh when he is batting something around on the coffee table waiting for it to get to the edge, stares at me and then starts to talk to me as if he is saying “Hey MOM, watch this!” because as soon as I look he knocks it off the table knowing I am going to pick it up and then it begins all over again! He’s like a child throwing stuff off the side of their highchair watching you pick it up and doing it all over again and laughing! He’s my baby! 🙂

  33. Bretany says:

My cat begs for food from the children every night at dinner like a dog, and at the end of the night he likes to sit upright on his back totally the way I sit and watch tv!

  34. Rachel Guillotte says:

my cat rides on the atv with me every morning. If I don’t take her she pouts and ignores me all day.

  35. Julia L says:

We have recently gotten the cutest Cornish Rex baby girl 🙂 She is SO funny! After we are done brushing our teeth or taking a shower, she comes into the bathroom to lick all the water that’s been left on the counter, floor, around the shower, etc…It’s hilarious!

  36. Cathy K says:

We have two cats, one senior and one almost there! One of our cats waits at the bottom of the stairs to great us when we come down. You have to laugh because if you need to go back up because you forgot something she forgets that she greated you (or maybe she’s just so social) and greats you again!

  37. Becky says:

We have several rescues but the true old gentleman of the group is our 11 yr old Tigger. He is as feisty as ever and can hold his own playing with the young ones. The funniest things that he does is whip his head back & forth when he sees a toy or another cat across the room, then running as fast as he can to catch them. He also flips upside down & begs for cheese, chicken or cat treats. His favorite toy is a huge sock monkey. 🙂

  38. Jenna says:

My cats would love this! My cats are awesome bc when we come home they are always there to greet us at the door! My little one is following me around non stop and loves to take naps with me 🙂 and my big one tries to look tough but he loves attention and loves to be pet 🙂

  39. Eunity Thornton says:

My cat makes me laugh when he walks out the front door of my condo to my car and waits for me to open the door before he jumps in the front seat for his daily ride over to my Mom’s house, so he can go play outside. I live in a condo, so he’s not allowed to play outside there. He also jumps out of the car and goes back to the front door when we get home. :o) He’s such a smart kitty!

  40. Shell Holland says:

My cat meows and meows and doesn’t know what she wants. That doesn’t make me laugh though. She doesn’t do as many funny things now that she’s older, but one thing that really makes me laugh is when I put some treats on top of the scratching post, she looks all over like she can’t it and I have to keep showing her before she finally realizes!

  41. Andrea says:

I have 2 cats that are hilarious. They both require all of my attention and if they dont get it, they make sure I know they are there. When I’m in the kitchen, usually cooking or doing dishes, they climb my legs. It’s never one at a time, but both at the same time. Needless to say, I don’t get much done unless someone else is here to occupy them. I don’t know what I’d do without them.

  42. gabby says:

We have a rescued Maine Coon named Smokey, she is 7 years old. Her favorite silly thing to do every night is lick my forehead, I don’t know why she does it, but she only does it to me. She would Love this gift pack : )

  43. Rachel says:

Every day when I get home from work, my first stop is the bathroom. My cat gets up from her nap when she hears me come in, runs into the bathroom to wait for me, and then rubs her body on my legs while I do my business. Then as I am cleaning up, she goes into her litter box and does her own business. We are bathroom buddies.

    1. Jude says:

My cat does the same thing. Every morning like clock work!!

  44. Kelly J Hubbard says:

I have three cats, my Sam the oldest will get into bed with me and try to knead on my hair. This will go on until I pull the blankets over my head and then he head butts my blanket until I let him under it with me. This usually only happens when its cold but he will let me wrap my arms around him and fall asleep this way. When I do finally fall asleep he takes off and goes to my bottom of the bed. When I give my Bella water, she will move the bowl around, and not let the other two drink from it..

  45. Jessie says:

My cat likes to drap himself across feet – don’t stand still for too long or you’ll have a furry footwarmer

  46. liz says:

i have 2 cats, one is named lilly, she is 6 months and the other one is named mimi, she is 3 yrs old. lilly always makes us laugh because she acts like a dog…she will come up to you and just start licking your hand, your feet, etc. she trys to lick mimi too…. 🙂

  48. mike b says:

SDAB’s (my cat) really runs the show at my place. She is pretty much in charge of getting the dog(Stoli) in trouble. Her best trick is knocking items from the dining room table onto the floor for the dog to get into. This is a big NO-NO when the weeks coupons are on the table.

  49. Shirley says:

The one thing my cays does that I just relized this week is bite my butt. during the night if her wants to be petted he will rub his head up my face like normal cats but if you shew him away he will go under the covers and bite your butt.

  50. Stephanie Conkling says:

My cats Like to hide under the blankets when it is too cold in house for them to tell me its too cold

  51. Jude says:

Hi Cindy. My cat Sasha… aka Toddie… cant resist climbing on the table while I am matching up coupons and lay right on top of everything. I will pull another circular from the bunch as to not disturb the sweet little princess and she will make sure she finds a way to roll over on top of that one too. I think she is jealous of the coupons getting all the attention!!

  52. Anonymous says:

I have two cats. They amuse us every day by playing hide and seek. Our fat cat Francis usually sneaks up on our other cat and pats him on top of the head ala Three Stooges. Their hilarious!

  53. Donna says:

We recently moved to a new apartment with a long hallway. The old apartment didnt have much room for my kitten to play. Well the new move was an enjoyment to US ALL!..Especially my kitten, because all he does all day is run through the house slidding down the long hallway. Running *SMACK* into the wall at the end. This is an everyday all day play for my PRINCELEGO!..He is a joy to us all!..

  54. Shawn says:

My 15 yr old cat “Barney” likes to play stalk the human, he hides behind furniture, I can clearly see him but I act like I can’t, I walk past he jumps out all fuzzed up and I squeal and run and he chases me till I stop and chase him back . He runs and hides to stalk me again. He also plays this game with our 9yr old cat Wookie.

  55. Carol D says:

My cat Butterball is 16 and after every time he uses the cat box for #2, he tears up the stairs and runs around the house for a bit. Then curls up and goes back to sleep. What’s even funnier than seeing Butetrball do this is that my 6 year-old son does the exact same thing and has since he was able to walk…

  56. Kelly Trefz says:

We have two cats. They amuse us every day by playing games like hide and seek. Our fat cat Francis usually sneaks up on his buddy and pats him on top of the head ala Three Stooges. It’s hilarious!

  57. DAWN G says:

My kitty cat Pumpkin ALWAYS makes me laugh!! She is such a character!! She likes to play hide and seek. Its hard for her though cause she’s a little fatty girl. (theres not too many places she can fit. lol) So, she thinks that as long as her head is ‘hiding’, that I cant see her!!! Its pretty funny, she will stick her head behind a curtain and be ‘hiding’. lol Her whole body exposed!!! Oh I love my baby!! =0)

  58. Sarah Powers says:

My cat is obsessed with the bathroom. I don’t know why. Anytime anyone goes in there, if you dont’ let him in, he bangs on the door like it’s a drum the entire you are in there. So strange.

  59. Kristin Dubois says:

I have 2 cats that are 13 years old..one has a habit of sticking her tongue out and leaving it that way for a while..it looks hilarious!..the other one makes me laugh by curling herself around my husband’s head as he sleeps (and he does NOT like the cat!)..makes me laugh every time!

  60. Mary C says:

We just rescued a kitten off of the street and after her hiding for almost 2 weeks in the laundry room, she has finally come out of her shell. Instead of my 3 yr old chasing the cat, the cat chases her! The kitten will hide behind the couch and wait for my daughter to walk by and then pounce up and down trying to cling on to her. It is hilarious because the kitten is so tiny and wants to play all of the time with my daughter.

  61. Jennifer says:

My cat cannot drink water out of her dish. She has to spill it on the floor first and then drink it off the ground.

  62. Denise says:

No matter where he’s at or what he’s doing Mac comes running when he hears me filing my nails. He bites at the file, but when I stop he meows at me. I tried filing his claws but after the second one he’d have enough.

  63. Leeann says:

My cat likes to play w/my little dog. He’ll go up to her and start nuzzling her trying to be all nice…..then….he bites her on the neck! After that its game on, then they have a swatting match, and a wrestle to the finish! lol

  64. Gail says:

My husband and I have been trying to train our dog (Tazzy) to ring the bell hanging from the back door when he wants to go outside so everyday for the last three weeks we ring the bell and then take him out(He probably thinks he is training us!) and two nights ago we are sitting in the living room watching tv and the bell starts to ring we look at each other so happy to hear the bell thinking IT’S WORKING we jump up and run to the door to be be blown away by who was ringing the bell DIAMOND our CAT….We fell on the floor and could not stop laughing and crying for about an hour!!!!!!

  65. Kat H says:

Normally the bathroom is a quiet haven, but not when you live with my cat Lewis (of Lewis and Clark fame), When you are sitting on the potty. LEw likes to jump into the pants that are around your ankles. He sits there until you are done. It cracks me up – especially when he tries to do it to visitors!

  66. Tisha says:

Ever seen a cat chase it’s tail? Our does!!

  67. Laura says:

We have three cats, two are 11 1/2 years old and one is 14. One of the younger ones, Shadow, loves to do yoga with me. He will do his own set of multiple stretches and contortions along with mine. He will do this with me for the entire hour!!! He also has the need to touch me constantly during this time while he is posing so I can tell him what a great job he is doing. We also have family members that pass by during this meditative time (at least it’s supposed to be….) and comment on “our little yogi kitty, who loves to do yoga with his mommy”. Between poking me constantly with his nails and his loud purring, there isn’t much time for complete quietness. However, I am very flexible and do appreciate his company!

  68. Kate says:

We have 4 cats, but it’s the youngest that makes me laugh the most.

When out in the yard he ‘bounces’ as if trying to touch the ground as little as possible — I think perhaps he doesn’t like the grass 🙂 But it’s sooo funny to see him bouncing from one end of the yard to the other like he’s on springs.

  69. Rose Lynd says:

    Great giveaway!
My cat, Polka Dot makes me laugh when it’s meal time. She follows me into the kitchen and starts rubbing on my leg, feet, the fridge, her food dish, she’s on her back wiggling around on the floor, turning in circles and ‘singing’ (cute little chirping and meowing). It’s so cute and entertaining. I just love her!

  70. DawnD says:

I have two cats, Lenny and Logan. Lenny is epileptic and has to take medicine daily to stop seizures so every night we have “treat time”, their favorite time of day. Lenny gets his meds and then the treats come out. It always cracks me up because I cannot get the treats out of the bag fast enough! I always have 4 little paws trying to help and they crawl all over me. They are the cutest!

  71. Elaine F says:

My cat walks on a leash like a dog. He’s a Maine Coon, so he is bigger than some dogs we encounter….. but people are always amazed when they see him strutting down the sidewalk like he owns the place, lol.

    1. Judy says:

Don’t you just love Maine Coons? I had one named Sampson. He was 18lbs and not a bit of fat. My dad always said he was a dog trapped in a cat’s body because of his personality. Maine Coons truly are a special breed. He passed away this year at the age of 19 1/2 years old and oh how a I miss him. I had to pick him up and craddle him like a baby every morning when I first got up or he wouldn’t let me be until I did. He was my special little guy.

  72. Julie B. says:

MY cat does so many funny things. She loves sleeping in a frying pan. Also, she likes laying on her back and grabs on to peoples feet so they can move her around like a broom. She’s a silly cat, but we love her!

  73. Jessica W says:

My cat, Baxter will hide in his kitty house until I finish my least favorite chore (cleaning his litter box) and after I walk by he tries to attack my leg by springing out of his house. I can always count on him to bring some humor to litter box sanitation!

  74. kim f says:

The thing my cat does that makes me laugh is that when my hubby is home che cries until he comes downstairs with her to use her little box. She likes hs company and it cracks me up everytime. She is so spoiled!

  75. Tiffany T. says:

We have had our cat Spark for 10 years this month! He was a rescue with a shortened tail, most likely due to abuse. He use to be pretty scared, but now he chases us around begging for yogurt and likes to sleep on his back with his feet in the air. He also enjoys the cooler fall weather and runs around chasing squirrels. (Lucky he never catches them!) He is a silly and lovable cat!

  76. Judy says:

Ophelia is such a ham. She loves to have her ears cleaned by one of our chihuahuas. Every time I see my 4lb chihuahua cleaning the ears of my 16lb cat, I can’t help put laugh. And boy is she a talker. I find myself talking to her just so she answers. It’s like we are having a complete conversation. That makes my husband laugh.

  77. megan says:

My kitty Pudge, who I rescued from outside after someone dropped her off as a kitten, thinks that she is my baby along with my 19 month old. She likes to come cuddle with me and she lays on my chest and licks my nose. She chases the laser pointer up the walk and even attacks it if it hits the dog. Lol. I love her!

  78. Chris Alto says:

Our cat Jazzy comes into my kid’s rooms each morning with me and has to help me wake them up. She taps them with her paws and licks them to wake them up. She is there every morning like clock work. Makes for a very special wake up! My kids think it is super special!

  79. Lynda says:

Abby is 18 1/2 years old so I guess you’d call her a senior kitty. She is still very playful. She loves to sit by the sliding glass door and “chase” the leaves blowing on the deck. At Christmas, she loves to play with the presents. We’ve been together since she was 2 1/2 years old and is such a part of my life.

This give away would be such a nice surprise for her.

  80. angie says:

My cat, Lucy, loves to “mop” the floor as she is waiting for her breakfast….she is long-haired furball and rolls around like she is in heat when it is feeding time!

  81. Anonymous says:

I can think of a lot of funny things our cat Smokey has done. One thing he has done a lot recently is to give our lhasa apso a bath. The dog will even lay on her back and let the cat lick her belly and her paws. It is so cute.

  82. Karen says:

Our teenage boys live in fear of our cat Punky Ann, age 10. She scares them so much that they walk around her to avoid directly passing her!

  83. Shawna P says:

My cat sleeps with my husband and I but usually on my side of our bed. My husband had told me for a while that she wakes him up during the night by slapping him in the face with her tail only to arise to see her staring him down as she’s doing it. One night while I was reading in bed and my husband was asleep i saw her in action! She made me laugh so hard! I saw her walk over to his side of our bed, sit down next to him, look intensely into his unopened eyes and slap him in his face with her tail. He wakes up spitting from the taste of her tail hair in his mouth and telling me she just did it again!

  84. Sarah Borden says:

Our cat runs the house. She has the pack of 5 dogs at her command. It’s hysterical to see our TEEEENY cat terrify all the dogs!

  85. Alice says:

Boots thinks he is a dog — meows at door to go out – begs – shakes hands — gotta love our cats!

  86. Vicky says:

We have three cats, and they’re all pretty goofy. Thumbelina, our gray polydactyl girl, loves to steal drinking straws. She will stalk you and your beverage and wait until you’re not paying attention, then bite your straw and pull it out of your glass or soda can. She chews on it and bats it around for awhile, and then she shoves it under the rug. Lifting up the rug often reveals a dozen stolen and stashed drinking straws. It’s kind of an annoying habit, but it’s such a strange obsession that it makes me chuckle.

  87. Sherri says:

My cat Juliette is enjoying her senior life lounging around. It makes me laugh to see my son try and interact with her and she just lays there and looks at him. Probably thinking “What is it this kid wants from me”. My son is learning how to feed her and tells her to Eat Eat and he makes meow sounds at her and she just looks at him. It is amusing to see an active toddler trying to get our senior cat to interact with him.

  88. Jacqueline says:

My Cat, Sable, makes me smile every time she wants to play catch with paper balls. She will even root thru my purse for the paper receipts and drop them in front of me. Just her way of telling me… LET’S play!

  89. Jackie K. says:

The one thing that is unique about my cat, Lucky, is that she loves to eat canned peaches! Nobody knows why she enjoys them so much, and sometimes when the kids are eating lunch, she eats them off their plate! It makes us laugh sometimes because we will never know why she loves them.

  90. Rebecca says:

We moved into a new apartment last spring and now that the weather is getting colder there are mice living in the basement. Once in a while we get a random mouse in our apartment. The other morning my husband went to take a showers and was taking our sons toys out of the shower so he could shower and when he picked up on of the things in the bath tub he saw it was fuzzy it was half a mouse he screamed! it made me laugh for days lol.

  91. Rachel says:

My cat, Raisin, makes me laugh by “inspecting” the bathroom after every use! after I get out of the shower he climbs in it, if I flush the toilet he watches the water go down, turn on the sink, he sits on the edge until I shut it back off, and god forbid I move the throw rug to wash it, he won’t leave the bathroom until its properly back in its spot!

  92. Lesley S says:

My Cat MoMo, likes to tap his dry food feeder to make more food come out. Its adorable, he will sit there and tap it three times and then start eating!

  93. Susie says:

My cat comes running to me from across the house every time I sing the “meow, meow, meow, meow” song!!!!

  94. Stephanie says:

We have (2) cats, Oscar & Sam and they would love this ! They make us laugh numerous times through the day. Sam is very local and sometimes thinks he is a dog (he has long fuzzy hair) and loves to sleep in the dogs bed when they aren’t in it. He is always meowing at us and I think he sometimes feels he is holding coversations. he sleeps in a ball curled up and because of his fuzzy long hair, you can’t even tell where his face is until you touch him and he meows at you. Its funny when he does it cause he usually give you a look wondering why you are bothing him!

Oscar loves to sleep on our bed when we arent home. Usually when I get there he start posing for me, stretching so I can scratch his belly and head and he winds up in all these crazy poses (like backleg over his head) that you can’t help to laugh!

  95. Val says:

My cat Cosette loves to open the doors from underneath… she is so smart- and always does it when she thinks no one is watching!

  96. Kristine Twardy-Todd says:

My cat likes to try to crawl on my head LOL!

  97. Val says:

My cat Sophie tears through the house (playing) when I say “You better run! You better hide! — and then she hides!

  98. Amanda says:

One of the million funny things my cat does is sit INSIDE the toilet bowl for no apparent reason if I forget to put the cover down. Unfortunately, I forget to put the cover down often so this happens a few times a week. Then she comes out of the bowl with a wet bum. I’m not sure why she does this but it is pretty funny and kinda gross at the same time.

  99. Christi Honeycutt says:

My cat, Miss Catty, named by my 3 year old son, loves to lay around on her back with her feet in the air. It so funny to come around a corner and she is layed out. lol. She doesnt have a care in the world. We love her.

  100. Allie says:

My cat begs for food my sitting up on his back legs and meowing. Everyone who visits thinks he’s hilarious! 🙂

  101. jennifer says:

Riff Raff loves to sing in the shower….as long as it’s not running! He will sit in the bathtub and howl for as long as we let him. I guess the bathroom does have the best acoustics in the house after all! 🙂

  102. Lindsay says:

I have three cats… They make me laugh when all three of them try to pile into one chair. They all end up laying on each other and slowly pushing one out. In about an hour there is normally one left as the winner of the chair, he spreads out and enjoys the entire chair to himself.

  103. Amy says:

My cat likes to play fetch with rubber bands. Snap one and she’ll come running. She thinks they are the greatest cat toy invented.

  104. Beth says:

We have 2 cats, they both always make us laugh. I think my favorite laughs are when Jackie runs and does a mile high pounce onto his favorite toys. so very adorable!

  105. Kayla O. says:

Our cat, Big Red, thinks he is a dog and he loves our black lab. Our real dog however, gets nervous around him (probably because he feels too big to play with him). Red is not intimidated or scared in the very least and loves to rub up against the dog’s legs, under his belly when he is standing, and sprawl himself out next to the dog when they are both in the kitchen. The dog acts like he is trying to ignore him. It is very funny!

  106. Robi Klee says:

“Mama” cat is a “tuxedo” cat (black w/white tips on hands & feet & under neck) is 14 years old & we adopted her as a kitten shortly after my husband & I separated. Her name was “Oreo” because of her coloring. My two children loved her very much as a ‘distraction’ from the bad events of the divorce during their middle school years. “Mommy” had a litter of kittens of her own after being with us about 10 months and she was such a good mommy! She would call to them, purr and chortle when she was feeding them, meow loudly when they acted out, and she’d even swat them from time to time when they got out of hand.
As my children grew older, “Mommy” would project her loving corrections onto the kids. If they came home late, she’d ‘fuss’ loudly. If they left books & papers on their beds, she’d knock them off so they’d HAVE to pick them up. If it was time for her to eat & they didn’t feed her, there was heck to pay. She kept them in line, always letting them know when they ‘forgot’ something. She could stare them down & make them think about doing it right the next time!
My daughter went off to college…and “Mommy” was so distracted that we had to send her to college after my daughter’s first year (no pets allowed in the dorm). They got a loft apartment, and “Mommy” did her job well! If my daughter brought a date to her place, “Mommy” sniffed him out, then firmly planted herself between them. When Mommy thought they were getting too cozy, she’d start edging they guy out of the way & she’d “fuss” LOUDLY at him. My daughter learned early on to only bring home cat lovers! My daughter also learned that if she was out too late, “Mommy” would fuss so much that it would wake her roommate!

And, of course, “Mommy” told me all about my daughter’s ‘escapades’ when I saw her! There were NO secrets and it kept us laughing all during those college years when I was missing my daughter so much. What a good “Mama” she was!

  107. Shari says:

My new kitten puffs up her tail and springs at my senior cat sideways like she’s a “big, scary girl”…he so tolerates her antics…LOL! He just looks at me like, “Mom, she’s so silly!”

  108. Jacqueline Dubois says:

Simba likes to find the smallest, weirdest, darkest places to curl up in a ball. Many times she’s so stealth she will startle us! She is an adorable little lover who lovingly takes the back seat to her doggy brother and sister <3

  109. Maggie says:

We all laugh when our cat tries to catch the soccer ball on the TV screen during a game. He also loved following the stone in curling during the Olympics!

  110. megs says:

I have my Gary (yes he’s named after the snail from Sponge Bob)… He has yet to learn that he is in fact a Cat. He thinks he’s a dog and actaully makes a better fetcher then my dog! This makes my whole family laugh!

  111. MK says:

Both my cats roll over on command..it started accidentally and each cat subsequently taught the newbie we next adopted. Now, when one rolls over and I fawn over her about it, my jealous one runs into the room and rolls over in a thump right next the other one and they both roll back in forth in a contest for my attention. The newbie learned to inchworn wiggle on the floor toward my jealous one in an attempt for a truce which the other will usually have none of! Sometimes they do touch noses and make up. Priceless

  112. Nicole says:

I love it how our Cat “Kitty Kitty” lets my 1 year old carry him around! Kitty Kitty is the same size as my son ~ it never seems to bother him.

Tyson, my 3 year old all black cat, has loved his belly rubbed from the day I got him! As soon as I walk in the door he’s on his back waiting for a little rub. It’s adorable!!

  114. Annabelle says:

My 13 year old cat announces loudly when he jumps up on my bed and it always makes me laugh. He doesnt make noise any other time really, except for maybe if he is hungry. Im not sure what the annoucement is for, maybe he is congratulating himself that he was able to jump all the way up. Or maybe its kitty talk for “Lucy!!! Im HOME!!”

  115. Deborah Steed says:

I love how our cat, Mysty, sits in an armchair with her “arm” up on the armrest. She looks so regal…she’s the BOSS!

  116. joanne says:

My cat Holly is part Bengal, and surprised us when she “fetched” a toy mouse. One day she came up from the basement with a real mouse which probably had a heart attack when it saw her. Luckily it was dead and whole.

  117. Dianne Taylor says:

My cat Spike was originally a cat that was kept at my father’s job to kill mice. Well the shop had a bell on the door to let you know when customers came in. Over time Pavlov’s Dog took over and my cat learned when the bell rang that there would be people coming in to give him attention. So now to this day when ever the doorbell rings you will be greeted at the door by my black fluff ball instead of the typical dog that will usually greet you. Some times we believe that he thinks he is part dog. It will always put a smile on my face and give me a good laugh.

  118. Nice gift for the cat ok my special friend. She last her job, I just foundout she also have cancer. Thank you!

My tuxedo Lilly opens drawers & cabinets so she can climb in a hide until a person walks by for her to pounce on. She is crazy but I wouldn’t trade her for anything.

  122. Cheryl Sporn says:

We have 2 cats. One is, Marshall, our older cat. We just had a heath scare with him that has turned out to be a condition that we all can deal with. He is such a sweetie. Our other cat is a beautiful kitten. We had a cat, Shaina, who passed away from cancer in Feb. and is greatly missed. Marshall was very lonely having only the dog to keep him company. We adopted the kitten this summer. EVERYTHING that she does is funny. She has helped us to heal and deal with the loss of Shaina. We love to watch her as she makes “discoveries” in our home.

  123. Sue says:

Our cat is so funny…when we pet him, he sits up just like a bunny rabbit, to meet our hand.

my cat maddie is so funny, always runs and steals the treats from the other 2 cats!! love her!!

  126. Colleen says:

I have 5 cats, ranging from 1 to 14. What I think it is so funny is the 14 year old cat’s favorite napping spot is on a rocking chair, just like a little old man. 🙂

  127. Kate says:

My cat has lots of funny habits that make me laugh – the best one though is when he lines himself up with the arm of the couch and literally flops down with a paw on each sie and his head resting over the end. he is a big cat so he fills the arm and just look plain silly!

  128. Dawn says:

One of the cats loves boxes and bags and baskets. Whenever we open anything, he claims the packing material no matter what size the box. It is hilarious watching a curled up cat half sitting in and half hanging out of a container half his size.

  129. Shara says:

I love when my cat Pikachu (I got her when I was young and used to watch Pokemon..) builds “caves” in the blankets. She will find a piece of the blanket that is up just a little bit, then shove her head into the hole. She will then “dig” on the bed and continue to lift the blanket with her head to make it more roomy for herself. Once it’s perfect, she spins around a few times, lays down, and sleeps for hours. She taught my other cat (Sqwishy) to do the same thing. I love my furry kids.

  130. Kelly says:

My cat Quincy loves to race me! Whenever I have to go upstairs, he will let me take a couple steps and then run right past and sit triumphantly at the top like “I’m the winner!!” He is a very funny cat. (:

  131. andrea says:

When my cat wants to come in she stays at the top of the hill in our backyard waiting for us then she runs full speed at the door, if we don’t open it she climbs up the screen and hangs on until we open the door. It makes us smile everytime. She is a sweetheart.

  132. Haley says:

I have two cats–Molly and Gracie. They’re sisters, but their personalities are as different as night and day. They bring so much joy to my life! Molly makes me laugh when she jumps inside a bucket and starts chasing her tail. Gracie is our acrobat and she likes to catch playing cards. She’ll jump and do flips when a card is thrown her way.

  133. Amanda says:

Wow… name one thing my cats do that make me laugh??? That is a difficult question because they are always making me laugh! We have 1 female cat, who is approximately 7 lbs and 3 male cats who are all 20lbs+. It is hilarious to watch our female pick fights with the boys. She usually ends up wrapped around their necks or on their backs briefly before they pin her to the ground.

  134. Roxy says:

I have two cats, their names are Roger and Rafa. They sleep almost all day, lol. They make me laugh every day, there is always something that they do that make me smile. They are brothers, me and my husband adopted them 5 years ago. Roger’s personality is like me in many things lol, and Rafa’s like my husband, lol, I didn’t believe that before but it’s true. We love them so much..

  135. Liz H. says:

Tigger makes me laugh when she bats at my cell phone when I have it on speaker. She doesn’t seem to understand how a person can fit in there, and she sees that as a potential threat or toy.

  136. Wendy says:

I can remember one I had ordered something off the internet, I got a huge box with a ton of packing peanuts protecting my items in the mail that I had bought. I had left the box in the hall and was going to throw it out, I had come home after a long day at work and it was like Christmas in July, the packing peanuts were strewn all threw the hallway up and down the stairway the cats( Tony, and Tinker) were sliding up and down the entire hall way and the stairway all threw them like a slip and slide. They were having a blast. It was so hysterical. But boy were they hard to clean up and what a mess in the carpet. I laughed for hours and still do every time I think about it. It took me hours to pick out all the little packing peanut particles out of the carpet. lol

  137. Angela Cebula says:

My cat Coala makes me laugh when she sits in front of the cabinet where her treats are and meows. (From a cat that almost never meows) If I don’t hear her or ignore her she grabs the cabinet door and won’t let go until she successfully opens the door. 🙂

  138. Stacy says:

My princess Rosy was 1 week old when I found her outside very sick so I took her in and bottle fed her and she is a very healthy lively cat. All my other cats I had my love Beauty who passed away in June at age 17 and his brother Beast who passed away the year before him god bless them. Well they loved table food just a taste lol. Now my princess won’t eat any table food at all except for filet migon go figure. She also does this thing when we walk through the house she pounces on our back legs which is so funny she just hangs and hits.

  142. Michelle says:

My cat Teddy likes to sleep in my pasta pot. The first time she did it I was going all over the house trying to find her. I walked into the kitchen, glanced over at some movement on the stove-top and there she was. She was staring at me with sleepy eyes and then gave a big yawn as though she was confused by all the commotion.

  143. Colleen says:

My Kitty falls asleep upside down on the chair in from on the window taking in all the rays

  144. Jessica says:

Our cat Radar is definitely a daddy’s boy- whenever my husband leaves his chair, Radar steals it. It can be his seat on the couch, his desk chair, his chair at the kitchen island… He has almost been sat on more times then we can count!

  145. My cat “Saki” was deemed feral and was supposed to be out down. Short story – I disagreed, refused to administer the injection, and adopted her. She is such a lover. When I’m searching through your site at night after the kids are in bed, Saki will jump on the back of the chair. If I don’t give her love she will nip my back periodically until I do. I’m so glad I saw her for what she really was – a scared little girl that needed a home!

  146. Rebecca T. says:

My cat Jack arches his back and his hair stands up when he sees himself in the mirror!

  151. Jennifer S. says:

I have 8 cats ranging from 3 years up to 12 years old (3 of which are Seniors). They all give me a reason to laugh and smile every day. I think the funniest thing is when all 8 of them are in a room and something happens that might scare them, usually a loud noise outside and all of them “scatter” in different directions. It’s hilarious! Each of them has their own thing about them that makes me laugh. I love them!

  152. Lisa F. says:

My new kitten Lil’ Bitz is fearless. She is less than 5lbs, and constantly tries to ride on the back of her big brother Pixie, who is 6 years old, and 17 lbs. Even when he knocks her down, and wrestles her to the ground, she gets right back up and tries again,

  153. Shawnna says:

My cat is so funny, she is not like a normal cat at all. If there was a mouse running across the living room floor she wouldn’t even bat an eye! She is too much of a sweetie 🙂

My cats (Jax & Opie) make me laugh daily. they’ve recently started chasing eachother up our recliner and every few times their combined weight will make the top of the recliner lean back rather quickly. they freeze for a moment and then go totally crazy and run around our house for 10 minutes (carefully avoiding the recliner, of course).
    Cortney Huhn
    Lititz, PA

  160. Jessica Gutmann says:

  161. Peggy Ann says:

  164. Nand says:

Our cat hides inside the big drum of my sons drum set and sleeps in there.

  165. Maria says:

I have two adorable cats: Lucy and Sassie. Lucy is a vocal cat, while Sassie is independent coming to you when she wants love.
Lucy will have “conversations” with my fiance and myself. You can sit there and ask her questions and she will always respond to you. She usually has a different response to your questions; either a long meow, a low short meow, or one that becomes higher pitched throughout the response. She has at one point meowed twice in a sentence. We often ask her what food we should make for dinner and what movie to watch. She will often not respond to one and respond to another, making it easier for us to decide.
Sassie likes to sleep on her back and it mimics my fiance. She will lay on her back, paw covering her eyes; just like the fiance. i have pictures of them sleeping next to each other in the same exact pose.

  166. Amy Wright says:

Phifer is a tortoiseshell cat who adopted my husband and me as her family two years ago. One of her funniest tricks (funniest to me!) is when Phifer curls up on the footrest of my husband’s recliner, but then stretches and wriggles until she is sprawled across it and he is scooted to the very edge! When called out about this, she will twist around on her back and play her cutest card, licking her paws and covering her eyes. What a ham!

Rosie will only drink water from the tap! Even if we fill her bowl with fresh water, she’ll sit by the faucet and cry til someone gives her a drink.

  168. Camille Puckett says:

Bailey, my 1 1/2 year old Blue Point Snowshoe, knows that when I am home I will clean the litter pan when she get out. Now when I get home from work either here or if my neighbor has taken her over there for a visit, when she sees me, she runs to the litter pan to take care of her business – both times.
My neighbor and I each get a big laugh out of this greeting.

  169. Heather Smith says:

My cat is crazy! After she ‘does her business’ she must think she’s lighter because she goes tearing through the house at top speed and must do six or seven laps before she quits. It’s like a blur of white and tan fur running back and forth and around again. Hilarious!

  170. Melissa says:

One of our cats prefers to drink the dog’s water over her own.

  171. Susan says:

My little girl Miss Alfetta Conchetta (she’s Italian) is 15 but has the heart of a kitten. While I’m in the kitchen downstairs, she peeks her head around the corner of the stairs and gives me this LOOK telling me she wants to play hide and seek on the stairs! I love her so much, she’s my very best friend and has been with me through thick and thin!

  172. Lisa filla says:

Rielly is the newest member of our family. She showed up at the diner where I work; she stood outside for hours meowing as customers came in and left. I took her home after work and after weeks of no claiming her; she has a new family. Reilly likes to play hid and go seek in rubber boots. As you pass by the boot shelf, she pops her head out of one of the four pairs; batting at our legs with her paws. Usually scaring someone, it’s too funny!

  173. Roslyn G. says:

My Rosko is like my shadow. He follows me all through the house and keeps an eye on me! What always gets me to laughing is…throughout the week, we’re all in the bed by 8:30-9pm. On the weekends, I stay up late…soooo,on Friday and Saturday nights, once the clock strikes 9pm…Rosko comes down the steps whining. He’ll sit on the steps and stare at me through the bars..and continue to whine until I get up and come upstairs. Such an old fart!

  174. Samantha says:

My cat acts like a guard dog. She will sit in our front window and when someone comes up on the porch she will start growling like a dog! She is a tough kitty though…we also have a pitbull and rottweiler that she is not afraid to challenge.

  175. Julie says:

My cat will get up on the toilet and stick her face in and drink the water. Sometimes she will dip her paw in the water and drink it off of her paw. It always makes me laugh to see her do this. She has 3 water dishes around the house.

  176. kate tomlinson says:

My cat Paw’s is almost 18yrs old and still plays as a kitten at times. He very much loves the rings that come on gallons of milk. He makes me smile each and every day. He is very much a part of my family. I would love for him to have one of your Senior baskets as Paw’s is certainly in his senior years!

  177. Doris Walsh says:

My Cat Misty goes for a walk with me every evening without a leash although she can walk with one on better than a dog. She then stops to greet any neighbors she sees on the way by going up their driveways, their front lawns, rubs up against them. We are in an older community with alot of older lonely people that sit outside on their front stoop. They all say they never saw a cat like her, what a friendy cat she is. They get some TLC from Misty & she gets hugs & we all get a good laugh for the evening!

  178. tina borello says:

I have 3 cats and they all love American cheese. They all walk to the refrigerator, turn around in circles and meow until I get them all a piece of cheese!

My cat loves to play hide and seek. It’s funny cause she’s not really hiding but thinks no one can see her behind the hall table.

  180. Shelly says:

My cat makes me laugh every day, whether she’s hiding and getting ready to pounce, or when she carries on a “conversation” with us, telling us how her day went, or the mischief she gets into on a regular basis! Love her AND her orneriness!!

my cat crawls under the covers to sleep with my 2 dachshunds..lol

  183. Kelly says:

Rascal likes to beg for food at the counter. When I am cooking, he stretches on his hind legs, puts his front paws on the edge of the counter and then nudges me with his head until I give him something. Another thing he does is he loves to wake me up. When I am sleeping he tries to snuggle under my hand to force me to pet him. If I do not pet him, he will gently bite me until I wake up and pet him!

  184. michelle roberts says:

I have 4 cats and 2 dogs. My eldest cat Ollie 14 thinks he is a dog. When the dogs are put out at night and come back in they get a “cookie” well running in right behind them is my Ollie. When I tell the dogs to sit for their “cookie” Ollie sits also. They all get their cookies even Ollie gets a kitty cookie 🙂

  185. Betsy says:

My cat meows for me to fill her bowl each morning. When I do, I swear she meows, Thank you. Others have heard her. Its really funny.

  189. Jamie says:

We have three cats and all of them have their own, very different, personalities. Abby loves to just stare at herself in the mirror. She’s beautiful and she knows it. 🙂 Simba will only sleep on soft things. Whether it’s a pile of clean clothes, a pillow, or our bed, he only likes to sleep on soft things. And then there’s Tilly. She’s a little strange. She likes to eat Q-Tips. Haven’t really figured that one out yet. Haha.

  190. Danielle says:

Our kit-kat, Sookie, is a shower stalker. She cracks us up when she sits on the tub between the cloth curtain and plastic curtain and paws at the water hitting the plastic curtain. Sometimes when she’s feeling frisky she jumps in the tub and paws at the running water. We love our little shower stalker! 🙂

  191. Beth says:

10yo Monty jets upstairs at the sound of plastic bags. When he wants to jump onto the bed, instead of coming up at the foot end will jump up and land on your face! He likes to jump up onto the kitchen sink & wait for someone to turn the faucet on so he can drink.

  192. Nicole Kerr says:

I have one cat and 3 very large dogs. My cat makes me laugh hysterically when she chases the dogs (that are 10 times bigger than she is) around the house. She will chase them until they come up to us looking for help. I also find it amusing when I walk into the bathroom and find her sleeping in the bathroom sink.

  193. Victoria Davis says:

We got our cat as a kitten the same time we got a pug puppy. The kitten learned to bark like the puppy. Even ten years later the cat will go crazy every now and then running around barking!

  194. Sara says:

We have 3 cats. Bea, a little grey thing, has our Great Dane totally terrified of her. Toots, a calico, will only drink from a running faucet. And Cat Stevens, an all black cat, can open the door to the garage…when it is locked & he can’t he will sit at the door and say ‘hellow’.

  195. Anne says:

My cat KC loves to hide & play with her stuffed toys but only when she thinks no one is around, she kind of “stole” (took) my Irish leprahaun stuffed doll one night when she thought everyone was asleep ( it’s a decoration we put out on St. Patty’s Day) and put it in with her own toys, in a box. Its been hers ever since. When I come home from being out for awhile I sometimes find it or her other toys like a few beanie babies in the oddest of places, like under a table or chair, or dragged to her food and water bowls in the kitchen. She cracks me up with that!

  196. Bree says:

We have two cats. The oldest is honestly obese and is similar in size to a raccoon. The younger one suffers, I fear, from ADHD as he is always running around the house. I laugh uncontrollably when these two start fighting and wrestling. I swear we are watching a UFC boxing match. They throw punches, tackle each other to the ground and then when the oldest has had too much (which is after a couple seconds, because he has no stamina) he channels his inner sumo wrestler and literally lays on the other cat with all his weight. It is the funniest thing!

  197. Danielle M says:

My cat Harvey loves the shower! While someone is in the shower he sits on the side and as soon as you get out he rolls around in the left over water in the bottom of the tub! If you shut him out of the bathroom he throws a fit!

  198. Dawn Craig says:

My cat Matilda likes to chase the laser light up the wall and the other cat Jar Jar Binx chases the dog away from the dog’s water dish when he wants a drink.

  199. Jacie says:

We have two older cats: Kitty & Patch. Kitty seems to think she is still a kitten, and loves to rile Patch up. Patch gets her revenge by hiding in the shadows and pouncing on Kitty, which causes her to jump about 5 feet in the air (she’s 16 lbs, so trust me, it’s impressive). They always make me laugh with their playing. 🙂

  200. Melissa says:

My cat is the funniest cat , she act like a dog and follows us when we go for a walk me and my son .

  201. Daphne Bibby says:

I have 3 bad kitties… Waffles, Spock and Ranger. Ranger gets in every appliance we own if he can – dishwasher, stove, washing machine, dryer but the refrigerator is his very favorite. The minute we open the door, he’s in it. We never start any appliance or shut a door without looking to make sure he’s not in it.

  202. Jessica Rask says:

Millercat makes me laugh when he snores loudly!

  205. Bonnie says:

Smoke runs to the door when the doorbell rings!

  206. Iris Delgado says:

My 14 year old cat Lucky always makes my day. He does this thing when he is going to run and we laugh because its like he wants to run but it takes time for him to get going. He is also a picture fanatic, if u have a camara…he starts posing.

  207. Angela says:

My two cats, Eno and Jet have an early morning wake up gym routine. Jet spreads himself across the doorway and Eno runs up and down the long hallway, jumping over Jet, 10 times…I have counted, and at the last jump, Jet gets up and they both go to their favorite place on top of the couch to catch the early morning rays. This has been going on for the past 9 years. Gotta love ’em.

  208. Shirley Ramirez says:

My cat Stewie is so funny that he is constantly making me laugh. He loves bags any bags and sometimes when I pick up my tote bag I find Stewie in it.

  209. amanda musselman says:

my cat spencer is a trip!!!so to say the least,he loves birds.i have a few bird feeders hanging on shepherd hooks and he is so smart that he will scale the pole and knock the feeders down, and this is so he can be up close and personal with them(:

  210. Marla says:

Our cat Alex is the best cat ever. His best bud is my 11 month old daughter. Alex spooks easliy. The otherday my daughters shoe was in the middle of the floor and he walked by it quickly and all of a sudden it must have scared him because all four paws were off the floor and his back was arched. It was the funniest thing to watch.

  211. My cat always lets me know she’s hungry by hopping on my lap and putting her paw on the side of my face. Always makes me chuckle

  212. Andrea Freda says:

My cat Salem will let everyone in the house know she’s hungry by bringing her string while she meows with the long string still in her mouth to everyone in the house. When nobody responds to her “I want it now” demands she drops her string and ALL of her toys she can find into her food dish lol. On a side note I was starving the other day and mom was cooking so I picked up the cats string in my mouth and dropped it near the stove..My mom was hysterical laughing me=)

  213. Lisa says:

My cat chirps and makes bird noises when she is happy ! She also doesn’t always check to see if the window is open before she jumps into it.. OUCH!!

  215. Julie says:

I have a large orange tabby he i s very old and my little baby (literally he thinks hes a baby) and when i go to my bed room and close the door he will sit at the door and say momma momma till i open it then i open it and he sits at my feet till i pick him up and he rest hes head on my boob and does this sigh thing its really really cute and makes me smile

  216. Jennifer Sadowski says:

My cat Eleanie makes me laugh when I tell her she is pretty. When I’m saying “Who’s so pretty, who’s a pretty kitty?” She stretches out and spins in circles on her back like she is posing for pictures.

  217. Michele H. says:

My Tuxedo cat Max does one thing that drives me nuts and one thing that makes me laugh.

The nuts side is if it is time for his breakfast and I am still asleep he will either walk up on me and start pulling my hair out or go up to my nightstand and start batting things off.

The funny side is he has this favorite “blankie” I have on my bed. It is a soft cotton that I have folded up to just the right size for him. Well every once and awhile he likes to take a portion of this blankie in his mouth, take his front paws and start to kneed the blanket as he goes around in circles to twist up the blankie all while he is purring like a freight train. He usually only does this for me and only one other person has seen him do this once and until she saw him do it my aunt didn’t believe me!

  218. Debbie Novak says:

My 2 kitties, Ariel & Gizmo, are V8 juice junkies. As soon as I pour myself a glass I am surrounded. They will follow me everywhere if I am holding a glass of it. If I sit down on the couch to drink it, they are all over me. They reach their little paws out and try to take the glass away from me. They meow at me the whole time I am drinking it as if to say “I want some!”

  219. Melani says:

i came home last night and my cats had knocked over my kitchen chair. Must have been one heck of a party that they threw!

  220. Elaine says:

We have the ‘Boys’ … 2 of them, barely 2 years old…one-Shea (aka-Bubba, because of his blank stare) and Larry (aka – The Mayor becuse he’s into everyones business) … We LOVE it when they rumble on the stairs… growling (fake) and running. Also, when we open the door and the glass door is shut for them to look out at the chipmonks, BOTH of them get laser attention watching them…if you come up behind them too fast, they get spooked! But we usually goad them with comments like “did you SEE that chipmonk??’ their tails swish when we do this.

  221. Lisa says:

We have two cats, Kitty and Little Kitty ( I know we are so original lol). Little Kitty love to play with bottle caps, she carries them through the house until she finds my hubby’s sneakers and then puts it in there and bats them with her paw until it flips out then she starts over again 🙂

  222. Amanda S. says:

I just LOVE how my adorable cat, Gizmo, jumps into bed w/us at night as soon as we turn out the light! (Mind you, we can be in bed for an hour reading before we actually turn the light out! haha) What really makes me laugh, is that she lays right on my chest & snuggles her head into my neck & falls asleep! She has done it since the 1st day we got her 🙂

My cats name is Tippy. My husband is a firefighter and was at work omne day when someone left a box of kittens in front of the firehouse righth after 9/11. He found all of the kittens a home that very day except the little orange one he took home to us. Tippy is a reminder to us that even though we lost so many that day the cycle of life continued. He has helped my husband trmendously in coping with all the family and friends he has lost. We love our crazy cat tippy

  235. Lorrie Gaudet says:

We adopted Jack (a pure bred blue point siamese) when my parents moved out of state. At the time he was 8 years old and they didn’t think that he could make the 20 hour trip. My daughter who was also 8 years old at the time absolutely loved him and she was also HIS favorite! When Jack was 11 we decided to move closer to my parents. We took Jack with us and he made the 20 hour trip just fine. He is now 14 and a half and is fiesty as ever. Every time my parents come over to visit, Jack will always sit on my Father’s lap. He may be a senior but he has a wonderful memory and loves his family, old and new. <3

My “Senior” cats, Rocky and Sweetie, like to follow me everywhere. It’s funny to see them following me and if I turn around and go the opposite direction they get all tangled up trying to be the first in line behind me. Sometimes I do it on purpose just to get a laugh.

  241. Barbie Seaman says:

I found my cat in the street covered in fleas. We called her Shakie Bake. She’s 4 now and my 3rd baby. We have a close relationship. I hold her like a newborn all the time. She is a Calico and her favorite thing to do is chase a laser light. She will go all day long trying to locate and capture the tiny light. We have 3 cats – Maela is going on 10 yrs old and then last year for our daughters’ birthdays we adopted 2 more cats who were 5 months at the time – Oreo and Cocoa. They get along okay, but the 2 “babies” gang up and tease our older Mae when they get hungry. They know she doesn’t like to play, but they can’t help it when they get hungry and poor Mae will be rounding a corner and out jumps Oreo or Cocoa. They never hurt her but they love to see her jump!

  246. Kathy says:

My cat is 14 and since the day he was born he was a clutz. Most cats are known for being graceful and sleek. Nope not my cat he’s so bad that if he jumps up onto a table or counter top everyone in the house runs to save everything from being knocked off. We’ve had to replace an entire dish set because we left it in a dish drainer after washing and he managed to knock the entire drain rack to the floor. I can laugh now about it LOL! Now we just don’t leave breakables on the counter LMAO!

  247. Peggy says:

My ten year old cat Marie can’t stand it if I do not pay attention to her – if I am on the computer she sits on the keyboard, if I try and read the newspaper she will sit on the paper!

After looking all over, I open the fridge and there she was!!! I was so relieved that I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. She still likes the fridge but doesn’t try to jump in it anymore.
