Wow, what a great deal at Stop & Shop this week.  There is a Buy One Get One Free sale on the Fiber One Honey Whole Wheat or Multigrain Bread (16 oz loaf).  They are originally priced at $2.99 each, so only $1.50 each with the BOGO sale.  Plus there is a $1/1 Fiber One Coupon in the 10/2 SmartSource insert making them only $0.50 each.

Also, keep your eye out for $1/1 peelies right on the product.

Here is your deal:

Buy 2 Fiber One Bread Honey Whole Wheat or Multigrain Bread 16 oz loaf $2.99 for both
use (2)$1/1 Fiber One Breads from the 10/2 SS insert
$0.50 each after coupons & BOGO sale

Make sure to check out the rest of the Stop & Shop sales this week.

I tried this deal yesterday but was only able to use (1) $1/1 Fiber One Breads coupon. When I asked customer service for an explanation, they said it was because the free bread has no value to discount. Has anyone else ran into this issue at S & S?

    • Rita

I have trouble all the time. It seems S&S is becoming more and more selective about what coupons they are willing to accept. I don’t know if they are trying to discourage couponers or what, but I have had a very difficult time lately with this store. (I shop at the one in Whiting, NJ.)

I gave up on S&S. I used to go to the store in Bloomfield, NJ but I would end up in the customer service line every time where they are unbelievably rude & patronizing. If there is every a deal too good to pass up I might try another location.

I had gone to the self-service register at my Stop & Shop in Somerset, NJ, with the two loaves of bread and their two peelies. Neither of the coupons were scanning, so I called for an associate. She warned that the machine might not take off both coupons because of the BOGO deal, but when she entered the coupons manually they were both accepted.

My Stop and Shop will also only allow 1 coupon on a B1G1 sale.

    • Annonymous

Because you’re really using 2 identical coupons on 1 product….that’s basically what it is, and the system usually won’t let you.

  • Tina

I just left stop & shop in Staten Island, went through self checkout cause they were super crowded, and it took ALL 4 of my $1 Fiber one coupons with no problem. I never have a problem there with my coupons for BOGO sales.

  • Ann Marie

If you use “Scan It”, there’s an additional $1 off. That makes it free.

    • Lucy

      What is scan it?

  • Jess

It worked for me today. Two coupons no problem. My scan-it didn’t have the $1 off though.

  • Leigh Ann

My Scan It didn’t give the dollar off, but I used 4 coupons with no problem.

  • stephanie

I tried to use two coupons today for 2 loaves of bread and I was told I could only use 1 coupon also. The second package had no value. Maybe I will try another ss tomorrow and try the self checkout!

    • Cindy

Hmm, interesting. If you go on the Peapod site (the home delivery service for Stop & Shop), they show them as $1.50 each

  • stephanie

I wonder if i bring a copy of the peapod price I might have luck getting the bread for an unbelievable price of …50 cents…

  • Valerie

Did it today at the Stop & Shop in ossining NY. There are different varieties of the bread for different prices there- but the 2.99bread is marked BOGO. Got 4 loaves, used 4 coupons at the self check with no problem for a change. I almost gave up on Stop & Shop after the ravioli deal did not work on Monday but the bread was too tempting to resist at 5o cents.

  • Kate

I got 4 today for $2 using 4 coupons. I went through self checkout, however, I needed A LOT of help because I don’t shop at S&S often. The girl actually helped scan my coupons and put them in the little bin for me! It worked fine!

  • Lianne

I’m excited for this one, and my bread stockpile was about to run out! Score!

  • Jessica

Went to the S&S in Nanuet, NY…bought 2 loaves of bread and used 2 peelies w/o any problem. Used the Scan it – and went to a cashier to do the check out…i have horrible luck with the self scan machines and coupons…went through with out a problem.

    • Annie

I’m planning on trying the deal on Wednesday at the same store. Glad it worked!

  • valentina

i was dying to try this deal out. i went to the stop and shop in elizabeth nj and had 4 breads and 4 muffin also had 4 coupons from the ss and 4 peelies. i went to the register and the last four wouldnt scan because the item is a free item and their policy states that you cannot use a coupon for a free item. i had to go to costumer service they were EXTREMELY rude to me, threw the receipt on my face and the manager refused to return my used coupons after i told him i wanted the money back for the transaction. i am attempting this deal tomorrow at another stop and shop its too good to not get it. needless to say im calling corp tomorrow.

that is so disappointing to hear… 🙁

I just did this deal at S&S in Simsbury, CT at the self check out. I didn’t have my card handy, so I entered “I forgot my card” on the produce lookup screen (this enters a store card for you). Bought 2 loaves of Fiber One Honey Whole Wheat bread. Each loaf rang up for $2.99. Discount of $2.99 showed up after second loaf. Scanned 1st $1/1 coupon , which deducted $1. I fully expected the 2nd coupon to beep, but it went through no problem. So my total was $.99 for 2 loaves!

Perhaps the register sees the $2.99 deduction on a B1G1 as a “store coupon” type of thing, which can be stacked with a mfg Q? Either way it worked & my 2 loaves were <.50 each.
