::Favorite Website

Sarah Loves –

Mom2Momnj.comSarah writes “I love the website www.mom2momnj.com. As a new mom I was lost when it came to finding new and fun things to do with my little one. This site has a calendar for every area in NJ and covers the whole state for interesting places and activities to take little ones. They also have a fb page so you can talk with other moms in the area and find a play group best for you. I have taken my little on to a few mom2mom events and they are so well ran and friendly. So glad I found this website!”

Shannon Loves –

Aplaceonearth.com – Shannon writes “Comfort stuff that makes me smile on a dreary day, I highly recommend the lavender dryer sachets – they make ANY day and any load of wash better!”

::Favorite Food Deal

Jim Loves –

ShopRite Manager Specials – Jim says “What  I love is: Shoprite’s Manager Special (especially on meat) where they are marked down 35+%. Sometimes I’m lucky and find 75%, most of the time it’s 35% or 50%, but either way I LOVE it. To get meat at a cheaper price (with a family to feed 🙂   ) is always awesome with me. ”

::Favorite Phone App

Erin R. Loves –

Amazon iPhone App– Erin R. writes – “I love my Amazon iPhone app! I recently had family coming to visit and my vacuum died the night before! I had to buy a new one, and fast. Of course, I wanted to get the best bang for my buck, so I went to the store and while I was there I scanned each vacuum’s bar code through my Amazon.com app and read reviews and saw comparable prices. I ended up getting a great deal on my new vacuum and it works great! I love apps that can help you to make smart purchases!”

::What Cindy Loves

Homemade Marinara SauceI love making my homemade marinara sauce with meatballs! It is a family favorite and we have sauce in the fridge or freezer quite a bit of time! I previously posted my marinara sauce recipe or as we call it, gravy…. so feel free to try it out!

So, now it’s your turn.  What do you love?…

    The Amazon app is great! The barcode scanning/picture taking feature makes it so easy to save money!

    I love Hefty Fresh Extend! I purchased them a few months back because they were out of the regular one gallon bags. We love taco night at my house, but we never use a whole head of lettuce before it goes bad. Last month rather than spend $1.99 on the Shreds like we normally do, I got a head of lettuce for $.99 and put the remainder in one of the Fresh Extend bags. That head of lettuce lasted three weeks, green and crisp! We got three taco nights for $.99 where we would normally have to spend $6! I had no idea those bags worked so well!

    I second the homemade marina sauce, or gravy. I only buy the jars if it’s a really good sale, otherwise it’s homemade all the way. My kids LOVE anything italian, so we make alot of homemade gravy.

    my family and i love my “homemade” donuts. take a can of pillsbury biscuit dough, cut a hole in the center (i use a melon baller and cut 2 half circles), fry in a pan w/ about 1″ oil, about 30 seconds each side, (keep the kids and dog away) gently toss in a big bowl with cinnamin sugar…hot and de-lish-i-ous!

  • I love fresh Basil! Especially since my two little girls and I grow it on our little condo deck. My toddlers like to each get a leaf to taste and smell. It’s always fresh and doesn’t cost $4 from the grocery store!
    @Cami- That donut idea is awesome, I need to try it out! What kind of oil do you use?
