How Much Do LRWC Readers Save On Their Grocery Bill?
That is the question I asked myself at the end of last year. So many of you emailed me or commented about your savings for the year. I heard savings from $1500 – $9,000. The more emails and comments I read the more I realized that these savings really add up. I thought, wow, I wonder what the total yearly savings is for Living Rich With Coupons readers and I wished I had kept track of it during the year.
So, I had this crazy idea to actually keep track of it this year. And with your help, we can see just how much Living Rich With Coupons reader have really saved in 2012.
How do you enter your savings from your shopping trip?
In the side bar and above, you will see a counter. I entered my savings last night. And now it’s your turn. Every time you shop, come on back and enter your savings by clicking the “Enter Your Grocery Savings” button. Who knows, maybe LRWC readers can pay off the National Debt with our savings alone. Hey a girl can dream right? 😉
How do you find out your savings?
It’s easy! Most stores keep track of it for you at the bottom of your receipt. It may say, “Today You Saved” or “Your Total Savings Today”. Whatever that number is, enter it in.
So get going and grab your receipts from your shopping trips so far this year. I am so excited to see how much we truly save!
