How many of you have begun the New Year trying to lose weight?  After the gluttony of the holidays, many of us are trying to cut back and watch our food intake this time of the year.  We should be instilling these principles all year long,  but let’s face it, now is the time everyone jumps on the bandwagon and at least attempts a New Years Diet of some sort.

Whether or not you’ve got a good plan in check, any attempt at healthier choices when preparing meals is a step in the right direction.  Here is a simple and practical meal idea for breakfast–one of the most important meals of the day that often takes least priority for many busy Americans.  Say no to grabbing a donut with your coffee and try and take the extra 10 minutes in your morning to give this delicious and satisfying pita pocket recipe a try!

Each pocket thin half has 100 calories.  They have been on sale at ShopRite for $2.00 each (Must Buy 3) for 2 weeks now and there was a $1/1 printable coupon recently available on SmartSource.com, making these just $1.00, however I’m pretty sure it is NLA to print now.  Plus this item should qualify for the Weight Watchers Catalina Deal that carried over to this week!
