CVS Schick Hydro Deal

The Schick Hydro Shave Gel Deal is working again.  The Schick Hydro SENSTIVE Shave Gel (upc #841058016007) is working towards the Schick Hydro Disposable Razors deal that is going on this week.  The deal is Buy 1 Schick Hydro and get a $4 ECB.  It is a limit of 2 offers.

My CVS had Schick Hydro Sensitive Shave Gel for $4.49 but my stores usually have higher prices so you may actually be able to score a better deal on this.  Also, a lot of you have found peelie coupons in the past plus there is a $0.75/1 Schick Hydro Shave Gel Coupon available in the 2/24 SS which would make this a small money maker.

Here is the deal:

Be sure to check out the rest of the CVS Coupons & Deals for the week before you shop.

Thanks Jamie!

  • Will it still work if we did the deal a couple weeks ago? an “offer limit reached” from before?

    (love your site!)

    • Christine R.

Yes Diane, it will still work! I bought 2 last time. I went tonight and got 3 and it says I still have 1 more that I can buy for this promotion.

  • Tom

The CVS flyer said U get $2.00 ECB.AND NOT $4 ECB SHAVE GEL

    • Cindy

If you buy the Sensitive, it’s producing the $4 ECB. The others produce the $2

      • Tom

        Ahhhhh thanxs

        • Cindy

          No problem. Happy shopping!

  • Monic

On my way to cvs:) thanks

  • Pat

Just ran and did this deal. Worked like a charm. Thanks for all you do = )

  • vickey

My CVS takes Rite Aide coupons. If I’m not mistaken there’s a coupon in Rite Aide’s circular for the shave gel.

    • Cindy

They do? Why is that? It’s not a CVS policy to do that.

      • Peg

Hi Cindy, I live in MA and my CVS has a big sign as you walk in that states they take Rite Aide and Walgreens coupons. Just used 2 from today’s Rite Aide ad for Schick Hydro shave gel and Schick Hydro disposable razors. You might want to check it out! 🙂

        • Keren

Where in MA do you live? I am in mansfield

          • Anonymous

Lowell….There does happen to be a Rite Aid and a Walgreens both within 1 block of the CVS store I go to. Don’t know if that’s the reason they take their coupons, but I’ll see if I can find out.

            • Anonymous

I asked the cashier today if all CVS stores took competitor’s coupons. I was told that it’s the manager’s discretion whether to honor Rite Aid and/or Walgreen’s coupons. My store does because as I stated there’s a Rite Aid and a Walgreens within 1 block of the store.

  • Mel

My cvs is always out of the sensative

  • Didn’t realize I could have bought two, used the .75 coupon from todays paper with tax paid 4.01$ got back a 4 ECB!! I am going to try another CVS and also look for toothpaste!

  • Cheri

Score ! Thanks. My coupon was for $1 . I also grabbed 2 of the toothpaste- what a steal !

  • Lori

Can you use ECB’s to buy another of the same item and still get another ECB (to limit OOP)? In other words, do they roll if you are allowed 2 of the same transaction?

    • Michelle T.

      Yes you can 🙂

      • Lori

        Thank you!!!! 🙂

  • ueen

  • ueen

@Gilly-tired? Didn’t the coupon saving adrenaline kick in? Jk 🙂

  • Melanie

My CVS had $1.50 peelies on them, so I got 4 of them, it ended up being a little over $5.00 money maker…. I am so glad I checked out LRWC before I went out the door. Thanks Cindy

  • Shannon

My store does not have a place on the shelf for the sensitive. I found them on a small display like near the makeup/nail glass case. And they had the $1.50/1 peelies! Also, the Express Times had the SS today with a $1/1 shave gel, slightly better than the $0.75/1 I found in the Star Ledger. 🙂

  • Deena

Worked like a charm in Greenfield, Mass! Love it when they pay me to shop!

Am donating to the local food pantry (folks get to choose one personal care item per person in their family when coming to get food). Makes me feel great and they love having stuff for men!

    Thanks, Cindy!

  • Jane

    • B_Lo

@Jane: Nice Job…But can you tell me what is a green bag tag Please??? Thanks in advance.

      • Jane

        Hi B_Lo,
Green bag tag is literally a “green tag” that you buy at CVS for $0.99 and earn a $1 ECB for every 4 visits. It is located at cashier and has a shape of a green leaf. Since it has a bar code in it, every time you buy at CVS you give it to cashier to scan along with your CVS card. I heard from one “nazi” cashier once that it suppose to be scanned only once per visit and not per transaction but every other time (with another cashier) I was able to scan it per transaction.
Cindy has at LRWC a link for the green bag tag at CVS but I just tried and seems CVS took it out of their website – or at least I couldn’t find it. HTH.

        • Cashier told me at my CVS why they keep talking about doing away with the tag is because people are suppose to attach it to a reusable bag and many people just want the tag scanned, the whole purpose was to get people to reuse bags….I bought one of their bags a few years ago, but you can attach it to any bag…I hope people follow their rules so they don’t do away with this easy money maker and it does state one scan a day. FOur scans gives you 1$ ECB.

          • Jane

Yes, I forgot to mention that. Thanks for pointing it out. And I do bring my own bag – or when I forget to bring to the store (even though I always have them in my car) I ask them not to use their bag and I carry the products out of the store without it. I think it is only fair that I don’t use theirs.

  • Erin

Is there a specific upc or kind I should check for the toothpaste? Thanks in advance

  • Just googled CVS green tag and it looks like they are no longer selling tag and are going to phase it out, only those who have the tag can still use it and that they were loosing money on it – people have suggested going from 4 uses to 10 to get the 1$ ECB….

    • Maria

My sister in NYC needed 10 uses to get the $1 ECB when she first got her green tag over a year ago…I guess it’s different depending on where you live. ‘sorry to see it go; a nice perk.

  • Bill

I made the mistake of going to a high priced CVS (which by definition is a store in an area with no other major drugstore (WG, RA) competition, in case you haven’t noticed the difference). They had plenty of the shave gels but almost all of the coupons were gone and the price was $4.79. I bought one since I found one with a $1.50 coupon, so it was still better than free. Didn’t buy any others. I should have gone to a store near me (which is near RA and WG) which would have been cheaper (probably the $4.19 reported elsewhere), but I wanted to buy in CT where coupons are not taxed, forgetting that the price might be higher. Bad move. Oh well.

  • I managed to find a CVS that still had the Schick sensitive gel, bought two and still got the 8 ECB’s – also scored two bags of Chex Mix for .50 each !!
