Just an FYI, because I’ve already put my stuff together for tomorrow’s trip….the $1.50 Excedrin coupon is for 100 count or higher. There’s a $1 coupon that you can use for the 24 count. Also, for the Clean and Clear, their coupons say “Limit 1 Per Person”. If you get ones from three different sources, it should be OK. There was a Smart Source coupon, if you have it. However, I think it might be NLA now. Also, my store has peelies on bunch of products. Combine thouse with the Healthy Essentials coupon, and you’re good to go!

    • Lesley

I wonder why the next sentence after that says something like, “Limit 4 of the same/like coupons”. I do not have the coupon in front of me, but it says something like that. Weird!

      • Nancy

I know. I think they are trying to limit “extreme couponing”, so they are making it hard for you to get multiple simultaneous purchases. You can use more than one coupon in one transaction, but they can’t all be identical. Grrr!
I guess, technically, you can walk in the store three days in a row, with the same coupon, and no one would stop you. Since CVS tracks, it wouldn’t be a problem for the ECBs. I just don’t have the patience for that. Luckily, I was able to get three different coupons….this time.

        • Laura D.

There is another way around it. Bring people with you to the store that go on line with you. This has worked for me with one of the Carefree coupons awhile back. It was by chance family members were with me. Three people, three coupons, no problem. Plus, I was the only female, hehe.

Hey Laura, it’s nice to see that I’m not the only one up at such a crazy hour of the morning! ha ha.
Yep, good idea. I’ve had my husband do that with me in ShopRite when I was getting more than 4 of something. I’ll have to start thinking about that at CVS. Usually, we stop there on our way back from the gym on Sundays. Today, he has to get back to do some work, so I’ll have to go solo on this trip.
It’s crazy that we have to do stuff like that. The cashiers know full well what we’re doing. But, because someone else is there or because we walk out to our car and back in the store again, suddenly that makes everything OK. The games we have to play sometimes are just nuts. The sad part is that it’s due to other folks that constantly do the underhanded scheming. The ones that are trying to honestly stick to a budget or make ends meet pay the price.

Now, go back to bed and get some sleep! ha ha.

            • Laura D.

The hoops we need to jump through now compared to a few years ago is ridiculous. But, we’re all jumping, lol! Have a great day! 🙂

          • Nancy

Ah!, there’s my comment. Weird. I logged in when I commented above, but I guess that I didn’t see that I got kicked out when I responded to you.

  • Kim

That q is strange … It then says no more than 4 per transaction. The coupon itself is confusing!!

  • zombie

On the Angelsoft deal, will a Double rolls coupon work for a purchase of Big rolls?

  • Lona

Just an FYI, be on the lookout for Dial Speed Foam Body wash. I found it at my store on clearance for 1.32 down from 5.69! I used a printable get 1.00 off 2, making them only .82 cents!

    Hi guys,

I have a question about the B1G1 sale on ALL. If I pick up 2 of them @ $7.49 each, get one of them free, can I use the $2/2 coupon and pay $5.49 total for both?

Also, I know CVS sometimes triggers ECB’s even if you’re a couple cents short of the requirement. Does SavingStar do that? Because the ALL purchase that I want to make would be 2 cents short of the SavingStar requirement if based on shelf price.

I hope this makes sense! And thanks in advance for your help!

  • Laura D.

    Hi Christine!

Yes you can use the $2/2 on the ALL with the B1G1 sale. Sorry I don’t know the answer to your other question. I’d like to know for the future, good question!

    • Christine R.

Thanks Laura! I’m hoping to get there tomorrow afternoon so I’ll let you know how what happens with SavingStar once it posts.

      • Christine R.

“…how what happens…” LOL – getting close to bedtime!

    • Christine R.

The All detergents were $7.99 at my CVS so as long as SavingStar counts the one I got free then I made the minimum requirement and should get the $5. CVS seems to take longer to post SavingStar rewards though, so nothing yet.

      • Laura D.

Hopefully they will count the free one, fingers crossed! Thanks for updating Christine!

      • Ruth

Hi. did SavingStar posted your All purchase yet. TIA

        • Christine R.

          Hi Ruth,
My SavingStar didn’t post yet so I don’t know how it will work out at this point.

  • Tina

    Good Morning ladies
FYI there is a $1/1 clean and clear coupon at:

It let me Print from Both sites

  • Kim

I couldn’t find any Clean & Clear for that price. And the ALL was $8.49 (none was priced at $7.99) Still not a bad deal.

    • bea

I agree! All the clean&clear items at my store were $8.99 or higherit’s Southern California so I guess the prices are always higher here. However, many of them had a $1/1 peelie on the bottles so I can use the coupons for future purchases:) Also, CVS had a coupon for $3 off any $15 purchase so I got a pretty sweet deal.

    • Nancy

I had to hunt around a bit at my store. It wasn’t with the other cleansers (ie. Simple and Burt’s Bees). It was actually in the same aisle that the Eucerine and Aveeno lotions were in (insert “shrug” here! ha ha). My store NEVER sells anything for the prices that are listed online. However, it wasn’t that bad this time around, because they were priced at $4.99.
Did you end up buying any Clean and Clear, or can you go back to check the other aisles?

      • Kim

I don’t really use it … so I just decided not to waste the money (even though it was very little money!!!) And the chocolate was no where to be found (Brookside) couldn’t even find where it was supposed to be!!!

        • Bill

It’s a sample size so I’d imagine it will be sitting in a display on up by the registers.

          • Anonymous

At my CVS (central MA) all 3 flavors were in a dispenser box at the register…similar to the Hershey’s Simple Pleasures sample size that we got free after ECBs a few weeks (months?) ago.

  • N. Yang

Hi, I’m pretty new to couponing and I have a question.

I have a couple of angel soft $1/1 coupons printed from a few weeks ago that haven’t expired yet. I’ve read that CVS doesn’t accept coupons with other stores’ logos. These have ‘available at Wal-Mart’ stated on it but no logo. Am I allowed to use these coupons at CVS?

    Thanks in advance! : )

    • John

They should be fine. As long as they don’t state “redeemable ONLY at Walmart or any other store”, they are okay.

  • Jill

I went to CVS today and it was the first time ever that I actually became really annoyed! I have been going to this CVS for more than a year and usually get the same salesperson. About two weeks ago she was telling me how this other customer tries to pass off ‘bad’ coupons and she actually thanked me for always only using coupons that I actually have items for, that havent expired, etc. So CVS had emailed me an $11 coupon for the Nature Made Minis, it was one of their diabetic extracare coupons. The vitamins were BOGO. So, I gave her the coupon and another $3 dollar coupon. She said the $11 dollar coupon didnt work…first she said it wasnt my number. I told her I only have one CVS card and they sent me the coupon, I didnt request it! After a bit, I said- Ok I will just use both of my $3 coupons. She then tells me I cant use two coupons because one item is free! I almost fainted! I always use two coupons at CVS for BOGO items! Does anyone know if this is a new policy? Well, now the line was like out the door, everyone was getting all mad! So, I said-whatever and just wanted to get out of there. She then rang it all up again for some reason! Then after she is done she notices two $1 dollar coupons for my Renuzits on the side and actually asks me if I bought them! So at this point she just handed me two dollars for the coupons since she didnt take them off! I have never had such a bad experience at CVS before! Does anyone know if they are changing their coupon policies or could it just be my CVS?

    • Christine R.

Wow Jill, that’s just nuts! She must have had a bad day…or may have gotten some kind of reprimand for accepting one or more bad coupons.

    • John

I don’t believe there was a change in policy. I also used the $10 CVS coupon + (2) $3 manufacturer coupons. None of them beeped and no override was necessary. Perhaps, she was just having a bad day but it’s no reason for her to act unprofessional. I would go to the manager. If you get a survey invitation in your e-mail, definitely rate them and express any comments about what happened.

    • kp

      Hey Jill

That’s just nuts….I would have called CVS corporate just to let them know. I find it it funny that CVS and other drug/grocery stores promote sales and deals BUT the front end (i.e. cashiers & managers) have issues with processing coupons. It’s the few that pass ‘bad’ coupons making it harder for the rest of us!

  • jj

Bad day indeed.Sorry to hear about your shopping experience. I would of been so aggravated that I would of called cvs & tell them about their $11.00 coupon experience.

  • John

If you can print 3 or more coupons, has a printable $0.75/1 Colgate Total Advanced coupon under “Special Offers”.
    Deal idea:
Buy (3) Colgate Total Advanced $6
Use (3) $0.75 Colgate Total Advanced coupon
    Pay $3.75
    Get $3 ECBs
Result: $0.25 each after coupons and ECBs

    • That was a great deal after getting my info though coupons are gone…hate it when I go through all that and then get nothing…

      • Nisha

The coupon is on their website since a year and everytime I enter my info it always says the promo has ended. I even wrote to them about it, but never got a reply.

    • Stacie

      Looks like it’s NLA 🙁
