Great timing! I need to use up some ECBs today… M & Ms here I come!

Me too – though my CVS is now accepting expired ECB’s (with rumors that’ll they soon accept expired coupons too!), you may want to check your local CVS to see if they’ve loosened their rules as well,

That $1/2 mars coupon says it is good on the 2oz products as well…so instead of buying a 5th bag of m&ms I wonder if we could get 2 m&ms novelty 2oz size (on sale for $1.50) and use another $1/2 coupon.

    4 m&ms ($12)
    2 novelty m&ms ($3)
    -$3/$15 coupon
    -3 $1/2 coupons (-$3)
    =$9 and get $4 ecb

I am going to try this later and will let you all know if it works!

This worked! No beeps! Tho the only 2oz m&m item I could find is the “candy cane” style m&m…it’s a long tube with one of the m&m characters at the top wearing bunny ears (kind of like the Xmas candy canes they do). Comes in plain and peanut variety but only plain meets the 2oz requirement. They were located on a top shelf and I almost missed them. All the other m&m novelty items were under 2oz. Maybe they would’ve worked too but I was trying to follow the coupon rules…in case it beeped I wanted to be in the clear! 🙂

I bought 4 Hershey’s Brand candies ($3 ea.) and a bag of the Easter Ghirardelli candy ($2/7)to bring my before-coupon total to $15.50. I used a $2/3 Hershey’s coupon and a $1/1 Ghirardelli printable coupon plus the $3/$15 CVS coupon to bring it down to $9 for Easter candy. I paid for all of it with ECBs from last week. Plus I got back $4 EBCs. I’m so glad that I saw this posted before I left this morning!
