Beginning Sunday, 9/22 at CVS you will receive a $2.00 ECB when you buy 1 Got2B Product or a $5.00 ECB when you buy 2.  Using the super cool new CVS myweekly ad, we can see exactly what products will be included in ECB Deals now!  I was able to find out that the lowest price product that qualifies for the ECB back is Got2B Spiking Glue, priced at $2.57 each (my store has it for $2.67).  Buy 2, pay $5.37 and get back a $5.00 ECB making these hair products only $0.17 each after ECB back!  As Cindy always says, easy-peasy!  😉

UPDATE:  Confirmed Working!!

Here is your deal beginning 9/22 at CVS:

Buy 2 Got2B Spiking Glue, $2.67 each
Pay: $5.37
Get: $5.00 ECB
as low as $0.17 each after ECB wyb 2

P.S-It’s better than that because they’re included in the Henkle Savingstar deal. II didn’t study the breakdown, limits or how it would play out, but I bet there’s a Moneymaker there! 🙂

I know! Now I’m wishing I hadn’t bought that fifth Purex at Stop & Shop yesterday. Win some…lose some…

    • Well, it looks like it might. According to the CVS website, the deal has a limit of 5 offers. (scroll down until you find the Got2b) So, you would need to do the deal 4 times to make it work but you would need 8 products. No sure you’ll find 8 in one store but you can get them at different stores.

Your deal would look like this (if you did it all in one transaction):

      Buy 8 Got2b 1.25 oz $2.67 each
      Pay: $21.36
      Get a $20 ECB
      Get a $5 SavingStar deposit
$3.64 Money Maker after ECB & SavingStar

Of course, you can keep your OOP lower buy doing then in separate transactions and rolling your $5 ECB into each transaction.

Don’t forget this counts towards the henkel $5/20 savingstar deal.

Sorry about the duplicate info, I hadn’t refreshed to see that someone had already posted. I’m happy about this though because I’m about half way there on the spend $20 from buying 4 right guards at cvs for practically free this week!

    Love the new site makeover!

    • Thanks Brandy!

      • Brandy

Yes, this is the second makeover you have completed since I have followed your site. I like the new menu location for “find my store at the top”. It is now easier to access each store including the store’s at the bottom of the list without adjusting the screen. Thank you!

Cool. I have a few $1 off coupons from some samples I received.

Silly question – what is Saving Star? 😮

  • I just tested the got2be and did not get the ecb. will be contacting CVS to let them know they have to be careful what they post in the online ad. pretty bummed!
