Saturday 2/8/14:

Downton Abbey Comes to Glenmont

Cost:  FREE
Description: Join rangers for a Downton Abbey themed children’s tour of the Edison family home. Learn more about the lifestyles of the Edwardian era and the Edison family. Hear stories about life as a servant as we tour the servants’ wing of the estate. See what it was like to grow up at Glenmont as we tour the rooms where the Edison children took their dance and music lessons. The house tour will be followed by paper doll crafts and history trivia games.

Maple Sugaring

Cost:  FREE
Description:  Witness how Maple Trees are tapped, learn about sap collecting methods from the past and present, and experience the boiling process that produces delicious New Jersey Maple Syrup.

Hoboken Family Alliance Cabin Fever Festival 2014

Cost:  Free for HFA Members and $20 per family for non-members.
Description: Are you tired of being cooped up in your home all day? Come join the Hoboken Family Alliance for a fun filled day with family oriented activities.
Location: The Brandt School, 215 Ninth Street, Hoboken, NJ

Cost:  FREE
Description:  Drop in and see a small display of beautiful 19th century Valentines at Historic Walnford, Upper Freehold. We invite you to make a token of affection using the materials provided for your sweetheart, inspired by historical examples.
